Extremism?

How about extreme vegetarians? Extreme climate change activists? Extreme soccer fans?

Stop the nonsense. If they are breaking the law it doesn't matter why or for whatever cause. Arrest them.

The Tory Party trying to control freedom of speech, thought, and action.

Incoherent nonsense. Rishi flailing all over the place.

Losing the moderate voters to apathy and losing his headbangers to Reform.

Expect more of this kind of babble over the next few months.

Vivek Sunak

an ideology based on violence, hatred or intolerance

he should have thrown "racism", "xenophobic" in there, these are the words crafted in hopes to shut any opposition or different ideas, its a replay of Mao's cultural devolution, where anyone who posed the slightest danger to the dictatorship was labeled a "counter-revolutionary", its a hat that fits all. In the West we have different words for the very same purpose.

The prime minister has this week also been forced to apologize for reported racist comments about a prominent black British MP by one of the party's biggest donors

Very vague that.

My understanding is he said Diane Abbott should be shot after saying she made him want to hate all black women.

A bit, erm, extreme? Then again, he donated 10 million quid to the Tories.

Rishi tried a bit of whataboutery in PMQs about this issue but it didn’t come across too well.

as church leaders warned it risked disproportionately affecting Muslim communities.

Classic artificial narrative.. good to see Sunak is finally addressing this problem..

Anything hysterical libs don't agree with.

"Extremism".......

To identify, an act, an action, a gathering of people humanity, of like minded protesting against what could they consider an action/state sanctioned act of brutality, is in itself there interpretation of extremism.

Then to have to factor in political religious intolerance, finally give this caldron of confusion, inconsistency, a legal framework the police will have to interpret and enforce, with careful eye on rights to freedom of speech and expression.

It could become a recipe for chaos.

?

Sunak’s babble has been getting criticised from all sides.

So ironic that India has basically stopped Muslim access to the country due to Hindu nationalism too!

As a Hindu I haven’t heard Rihshi’s opine on it….

The article isn't very clear but my understanding is that groups that come under this definition will not be criminalized but will be denied government funding and meeting with government officials.

Redemption:"Anything hysterical libs don't agree with."

You might be under some misapprehension. The Tory party are not hysterical "libs".

In my mind, building/expanding settlements, on a continuous basis, in the internationally recognized Palestinian territories is extremism. Likewise, launching an invasion, by unilaterally declaring Ukraine is part of Russia, is extremism. Additionally, claiming a blanket immunity of the presidency is also extremism, I think.

Where did the gaslighting Sunak pull this fake "shocking increase in extremist disruption and criminality" that risked the country tipping into "mob rule." out from? Clearly the UK's political class has been rattled by the blowback called Galloway & friends calling out its domestic fubars and bankrupt support of mass-killing with no end in sight. "Extremism" can also be defined as just about anything the Tories do in pursuit of their Brexit promise to "take back control" and Sunak's moving the goalposts to a new definition of "extremism" should logically be applied to both "cheeks" of the Commons for their aiding and abetting genocide, innit?

Load of bollocks.

India has the 3rd largest Muslim population in the world, but what does Sunak, a British Indian, have to do with what goes on in India.

Unless he wants to behave like a typical Brit - can't solve their own problems, but first to wag their finger and tell other people how to run their countries.

UK is in danger, must be protected.. It's an invasion..

The press has to be vague about her, because they’ve been monstering Abbott for decades. She’s a left-wing MP, not too dissimilar to Jeremy Corbyn, but she’s had a tougher time because she is a black woman.

You would never see a Tory donor say, for example, “whenever I see Jeremy Corbyn, it makes me want to hate all white men”.

Well-done UK government.

I highly approve of this action.
