Why is there a bump in cases? Is it the vaccines used?

U.S. has lower vaccination rate and is wide open with big crowds and people traveling all over and cases continue to plummet.

There has been a rise in cases due to schools, universities reopening and pubs, restaurants etc reopening indoors. Younger people, under 30, have yet to be vaccinated. Add in the more transmissible Delta variant and numbers will rise, fortunately there has not been a similar rise in hospitalisations or deaths,
