The Liverpool court released the name of the 17-year-old killer to prevent further speculation he is a Muslim claimed by the right-wing thugs who caused a riot in Southport—born in Cardiff Wales to parents given political asylum from Rwanda. The family moved to Bank near Southport.
The pain of the killings is running deep in the community.
Hawk
Do we get apologies from the half dozen or so posters here on Japan Today who spread and based their responses and opinions on the false information after the early articles?
Bad Haircut
Well, I guess I was wrong about him being a Muslim.
Hawk
And the apology?
itsonlyrocknroll
The so called “far right” seemly fronted by Stephen Christopher Yaxley-Lennon aka Tommy Robinson a rather insignificant creature, a group of easily led thugs, are being held up as a means to snuff out any media scrutiny for a British public that are concerned that 2 levels of law enforcement are beginning to manifest on UK street.
In Leeds Harehills, in comparison to Southport,
Much more worryingly is Starmer weaponizing Southport, London as a means to introduce integrate a network of AI next generation facial recognition technology, in towns and cities up and down the country, state surveillance on a completely intrusive level.
This is what corrosive parliamentary metropolitan establishment illiberal elitism looks like in its most toxic form.
Totally out of touch, unable or unwilling to understand how the fabric of British society has changed.
Then enter Andrew Tate an attention seeking conceited useful idiot prating fool, indicted with his fleckless dim-witted brother on charges of human trafficking, rape, sexually exploitation of young girls/women.
The danger, Tate is a source that influences some of the most thuggish single braincell knuckle dragging troglodyte cretins to kick down walls and throw the bricks and masonry at the police.
Immigration clouds, muddles the water, the parents are reported to be genuine refugees, have established respect status within the community.
Emotions are running high, could the release of information have been handled smarter?
Also raises a question into how serious potential criminal mental health concerns are handled within the communities.
Another question is whether prior behaviours, alerted the attention of the security services?
Such question need to be answered, above and beyond being raised reviewed in court.
Hawk
TokyoOldMan,
Source? Please and thank you.
Jimizo
There are people who just make mistakes.
There are other types who desperately want the attacker to fall into categories of people they really don’t like or have been told to dislike.
The second group are not much better than the thugs who attacked the mosque.
Jimizo
How would you describe them?
Hawk
Jimizo,
That's absolutely right, although the lesson there is to wait for verified reports.
This, however...
Bad Haircut (July 30)
"Easier said than done, as the UK won't provide clear statistics on crimes committed by Muslims."
"Doing a search using AI (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Meta) just gives out mealy-mouthed explanations about not wanting to give negative impressions of Muslims, although at least Perplexity gives the sources."
"There's nothing racist about correctly identifying a pattern and dealing with it. "
"The rising rate of violent crime, including stabbings, r@pe, and more, committed by first- and second generation Muslim immigrants"
No apology yet, but there's hope.
GBR48
The aggro is unlikely to have been stirred up by random people posting BS on social media. It is more likely to have been engineered by organised hard right activists looking for any incident to exploit. MI5 has spent decades spying on generally ineffective left wing groups, when the real domestic threats come from the hard right. Analysis of social media may allow some of those involved to be identified. The Tories seem to have turned a blind eye to the hard right groups, assuming they were just over-enthusiastic supporters. I suspect they are way more organised and dangerous than that.
Jimizo
@Hawk
The closest people should get to wanting to believe stories is believing reports about your sports team signing a top player.
That’s a bit of fun.
Running with dodgy reports or even just making stuff up about a mass murderer belonging to a group you’ve been told to hate is very ugly and very dangerous.
Hateful.
Hawk
itsonlyrocknroll,
Were you right, on July 30th?
"My UK family are fully aware of the full Identity of the 17-year-old in custody (you got his name wrong as you gave "kudos" to a poster who had posted the wrong one), the nationality (he is Welsh/British), how the alleged killer entered the UK (he was born there), purported to known to Liverpool mental health services, also known to be on the MI6 watchlist (later proved false)"
itsonlyrocknroll
Jimizo, Far Right,
I have always associated the ideology in its purist form with* **National Socialism* totalitarian socio-political at its core 1920 - 1945.
Modern day far right Ideology Europe is far more sophisticated enlightened in its water down modern day equivalent. xenophobic to race, migration, environment, security, ultra conservative family values,
Extreme nationalistic instincts over patriotism, factionist hostility towards immigration, control over policy, legislative powers in favour of a more flexible national devotional process.
A fear of any form of socialism, of a society that is framed to follow a legislative process for genuine social justice.
Tommy Robinson/Andrew Tate can be seen approaching from a galaxy away, the "thuggery" armed in this case with sticks stones, bricks, feet and fists.
Hooligans delinquent troublemakers nothing more. Raw lawless unrestrained.
I worry more, what political shenanigans lurks with Westminster, within parliament.
Hawk
Scampered off with their tail between their legs. Sad.

Hawk no, the last name was correct, however the families details were highly inaccurate, inflammatory, the family portrayed to be Islamic/Muslim asylum seekers that slipped into Rwanda under false pretences, to then become parasitises to UK benefit system.
Many family members are hanging heads in shame.
Lesson here, never underestimate the prejudice festering amongst the most trusted pillars on one communities.
Tommy R, and Andrew Tate are easily recognisable, rioting in plain sight.
The damage from the chattering classes, the whispers, the gossip, the canard amongst trusted friends, lifelong business associates, is far more difficult to clear away than a riot.
Hawk
No, it wasn't. Someone on JT posted the incorrect name that was circulating on social media at the time, and you gave them "kudos" for it. I can pull up the quote if you like.
Anyway, I realise I am being insufferable, and I'll stop. I just think it's important that people wait until official, verified details are released before spreading or acting on false information, such as that which led to rioting, assaults, property damage and thefts.
I'm sure those who were rioting in Southport and elsewhere have their own motivation (justified or not) for their actions. However, it was completely misdirected in this case.
Bad Haircut
Hawk, I admitted I was wrong about the religion of this attacker. That's enough. I'm not falling into the trap of apologising for everything just to appease a baying leftist mob who won't accept it anyway.
As for the other post, I'm standing by it. Too bad if you don't like it.
kurisupisu
@Hawk
The problem is that the UK government doesn’t give out stats on crimes committed by ethnic minorities as it would ‘prejudice’ the majority whites against them.
And the number is high.
Notice that Japan has no such reserve when reporting crime figures.
However, (before I digress) it is now the case that the truth cannot be hidden anymore.
The UK state has become evasive and traitorous in its actions-riots are the result.
Jimizo
What has ‘leftist’ got to do with it?
Claiming that a mass murderer is a member of a particular group without evidence isn’t a matter of left or right.
It’s just what honest people with basic decency don’t do.
It’s actually very dangerous. There are very easily led types out there who will swallow any garbage from garbage media and act on it.
u_s__reamer
One has to wonder about why he hated British people so much - perhaps hate begins at home ?
We don't have any information to shed light on his life trajectory and if there is a Rwanda-Southport connection, but despite the distaste of many for the truth, the "butterfly effect" may be involved here, as we know from the survivors of the Holocaust that trauma is often passed down to succeeding generations. Whatever the facts that the government allows to be published, the emergent psychological profile of this young man should enrich our understanding of just how deep the interconnections of reality are.
Hawk
Half marks. You said "first- and second generation Muslim immigrants"
As an aside, I disagree with the term 'second-generation immigrant.' For one thing, it's an incredibly broad brush. I'm a 'second-generation immigrant' but I feel absolutely no connection to the country my parents were from. And by the logic, I could describe someone as a '100th-generation immigrant' in order to justify my dislike of that person. It's pretty meaningless as a description, in my opinion.
I don't believe I have stated my political stance. Just that people should wait for correct information before jumping to false conclusions. Anyway, I would have acknowledged and appreciated an apology, but I'm not entitled to one, so fair enough.
kurisupisu
One has to wonder about why he hated British people so much - perhaps hate begins at home
Hate stems from many places.
However, although the perpetrator is of African origin we still do not know if any type of ideology played a part in the motive for the killings.
The police have not commented on this particular aspect yet.
Hawk
Posts. But again, fair enough. You're entitled to your opinion, although your opinion wasn't what I was responding to. Just your false assumptions.

Demanding an apology for every perceived transgression is typical leftist behaviour, yet they rarely if ever apologise for mistakes they make themselves.
You yourself have been completely hoodwinked by garbage mainstream media on all sorts of topics such as health and the pandemic, yet have never admitted you've been wrong or apologised, so spare us the lecture.

Clearly you have your own interpretation to the context of my reply to wallace,
I am in full agreement with questioning, provocation, courage to quote sometime speculative if assumptive media content engaging open debate reply.
I had been informed through relatives in the UK, of to the young man name, however I have studied finance law, to a degree to know never be subject to formal accusation of libel.
I have served early years, a finance economics research assistant end of Gordon brown government.
I learnt to structure my reports, my briefing carefully making sure misunderstanding/ misinterpretation avoid inadvertent incrimination.
I don't find you insufferable at all, an official response rarely relates to a full clear picture.
Setting aside the defendant nationality for a moment, or his parent status in the UK.
The Mother and Father on successful application for refugee status then final full residency will appear on a home office security watchlist data set.
That does not imply a terror or security risk.
I appear on a number of UK watch lists, associated with my businesses interests and tax visa status when I gave up my UK nationality applying for Japanese citizenship.
The difference and I suggest tragedy, is that Rudakubana mental health concerns could have allegedly contributed to the extreme acts of bloodshed to such venerable children were never acted upon in time to prevent such a devastating occurrence.
falseflagsteve
Nice cop out by Stahmer, calling people far right ie Nazis. How will his shambolic government deal with the knife crime perpetuated mostly by one ethnic group in the cities and the large scale child grooming by men of a certain religion?
We saw in Southend a few nights ago more of this type of horrendous activity in public areas in broad daylight.
Concentrating solely on rioters is a way of pushing these issues aside to appease his followers.
Jimizo
By who? Starmer, Steve. PM of the UK.
I think calling out rightist trash smashing things up based on false reports is justified.
A bit early to call his government shambolic. It’s been in office for about 3 weeks. The UK had an election on July 4th you see.
He certainly faces challenges on these issues. You might be surprised to find that Brits are generally quite fair and will give his government a chance.
See how he does.
itsonlyrocknroll
Hawk when this "horror" incident makes it way to court, Rudakubana learned council will move heaven and earth to migrate, to negate any malice aforethought, for the jury to accept a partial defence to invoke involuntary manslaughter though diminished Intent/ "State of Mind".
Now if you think my reply was infuriating insufferable, then fasten your seat belts for the trial.
Hawk
And if they can prove to the court that that's the case, he should be sentenced appropriately. Time will tell.

Exactly. Unfortunately, as expected, the new UK government is as useless and self-serving as the previous one. The UK is on a terminal trajectory urged on by leftists.
itsonlyrocknroll
Hawk please don't take my replies personally, I am clear that the information I rather foolishly took for granted to be fact, is speculative fictitious, am a little miffed that family was misinformed.
However this trail could well throw up a few nasty surprises for the families.
The state of his mental health could become centre stage to suggest a hearing to ascertain if Rudakubana is fit for trial. Which could mean months of expert study reporting.
Jimizo
Time for another election. This government has had nearly a month and there are still serious problems in the UK.
Where are all those houses they promised?
Why are there still murderers?
Still woke programs on TV too
Hawk
Precisely. A month is more than enough time to fix the problems of 14 years of conservative rule.
funkymofo
Tories have been in power for the last 14 years- Labor, 1 month.
Strangerland
The last ones had 14 years to fix problems, instead they put sanctions on themselves with Brexit.
I hope the UK won't be stupid enough to give any shrift to their whining and complaining about how things are being done now. Can't be any worse than they were done for the past 14 years.

Fourteen years of conservative rule turned the UK into a shell of what it used to be.
It's the rightists that ruined the UK, not the left. The left weren't even part of the game while the country was ruined.
Mr Kipling
There are a small minority of thugs like the idiots in Southport but the idea that immigration is out of control in the UK is probably the majority opinion at the moment.
Most immigrants just want a better life but every time there is an incident like the murders in Southport many people ask is it worth the risk? Add to that the extra burden on the health service, schools and housing. What is the benefit for the native population?
Mr Kipling
The 17 year old will be marked for attack whether he ends up in prison or a secure mental hospital. I doubt very much that he will see his 30th birthday.
kurisupisu
@Strangerland
The UK has mostly always had a vocal opposition which has had an effect on policy unlike some countries.
Strangerland
In this case that vocal opposition spent the past 14 years ruining the country in complete incompetence.
That doesn't leave their voice with any credibility.
Mr Kipling
The "far right" demonstrators are accused of stirring up racial hatred which is probably true for many of them. Another good way to stir up hatred is to enter a young girls dance class and kill children.
kurisupisu
I would not put complete blame on them but with the Tories there has been too much complicity from Labour.

Those that back the Prime Minister to the hilt despite the country being divided a few weeks into his tenure are deluded.
We already have riots due to his inability to see the seriousness of the issues. Thugs marauding seaside towns with machetes.
This all started with the Tony Blair policy of open borders to get cheap labour and increase the Labour vote, a plan he devised with his associates.

He was pretty damn good at destroying the UK. Noticeably silent at the moment.

Keir Starmer appeared in Communist spy files after joining a Czechoslovakian work camp at the height of the Cold War. I find it’s you who is always prattling on about ‘leftists’.
What policies would be true Labour and Tory policies?
The members of both parties have different visions of what their parties should be about. To simplify it, we have one nation Tories and the more rugged Thatcherite views. On the Labour side, we have the hard left types and the more pragmatic centrists.
Anyone with even a passing knowledge of UK politics has seen both parties shift within these visions over the decades.
You can settle this for us here.
Oh, when did the Tories stop being Tories? Give us a date.
Hysterical and unlikely.
You find its the right who get weak at the knees with the Russians in the modern world.

More riots will be happening due to the inept government. Starker is even worse than Mrs May and Sunak, who are total buffoons.
More and more rivers of blood caused by mass immigration and ignoring the trouble that cáusese especially those from a certain religion who have some members behaving still in medieval ways.
Time to end this, a strong leader is required to find a solution to this problem.
Jimizo
Anyone with even a passing knowledge of UK politics knows that ex-PMs generally don’t weigh in too heavily after leaving office. One reason is they are usually ignored. How many UK PMs left the stage with the audience begging for more?
Heard many salvos fired and widely reported from John Major recently?

Hard to imagine how anyone from the UK could make that omission. Worse than buffoons - made May and Sunak look serious.

The blood is not dry on the dead children but already people are posting conspiracy posts. It's like reading the RT.
My sympathy is with the families who lost loved ones or were victims of the attack. Also the community of people reeling from the shock.
When the attacker's family entered the UK Stamer wasn't even a politician. He can't be blamed for the attack.
Jimizo
I think it has done the rounds on rightwing North American podcasts.
Anyone from the UK would know referring to Powell as ‘Enoch’ is very dodgy. Even Farage steps back from that.

Enoch Powell was a racist and was thrown out of the Tory party. He was disemboweled.

Enoch Powell was not a racist. He was a very intelligent politician who represented the majority view of his constituency. He argued against mass immigration as it would change the fabric of British society. He was right, it has. And now many of the native British still agree with his views.
