The EU should give the UK the finger. The UK needs the EU far more than the EU needs the UK.

U.K. negotiator David Frost said, according to extracts from the released speech, that “to think that we might accept EU supervision on so-called level playing field issues simply fails to see the point of what we are doing."

He is completely right. Do not accept EU hubris from the imperialistic mob in Brusssels.

The UK still thinks it can dictate to the EU. They haven't a leg to stand on, anymore. Their best bargaining chip was to be part of the EU, warts and all.

This should come as a surprise to no one. After three years of internal squabbling over why G.B. hasn't left the E.U. yet, and there are still some suggesting that the E.U. should have some say in how G.B. runs its own country. Not being controlled by the E.U. is the whole reason for G.B. wanting to leave the E.U..
