It seems like the NATO nations could do Ukraine a great service by organizing tiger teams of selected workers and contractors to rebuild electricity and water infrastructure as rapidly as possible.

Yep not a PR win for Russia at all. Mariupol was destroyed again not a PR win. Can you imagine Russian reaction if one or more of their City’s was destroyed, damaged like this?

Of course those Russian marauders committed war crimes.

That's what they're so good at, besides destoying, looting, raping, abducting, deporting, and so on.

I hope they will be held responsible or even better "meet their destiny"!

Despite (or because of) all this ......

Ukraine will prevail!

So much Pan-Russo love for inalienable “New Russia” that the Russian “army” blew up all the infrastructure and stole most of the cars “and anything that would fit in them) before they ran away, er… “retreated”.

They will continue too do all kinds of crimes to people of Ukraine, until Ukrainain find a solution, telling someone something they already know and they are not taking action to stop it,it obviously they do care,if someone saw their neighbors were about too kill their child, someone in the neighborhood, would take action, while others just look on

Sandakov said Russian troops had looted the homes of Ukrainian soldiers

The Russian soldiers must have figured their best chance at having some material improvements for their homes would be by robbing Ukrainians, the soldiers must have thought that they would not be able to afford to buy much after they got back to Russia.

Russia has gained billions from sales of oil and gas, but that wealth has not trickled down on most Russians. While Putin is reputed to have several mansions, and his oligarch have mansions and luxury yachts all around the world. It's clear that Russian fascism has done little to help the common Russian, once again it's the tsar and his loyal royals who benefit - time for another Russian revolution?

Is Ukraine taking the West "for a Ride" ?

-11 ( +2 / -13 )

@yrra and they are not taking action to stop it

Yet some posters bang on about how many Ukrainians have been killed, I think Ukrainians are taking lots of action trying to stop the Russian butchers, and some outside of Ukraine are trying to stop others from doing what they can to help the Ukrainians, and by not helping the Ukrainians they're helping Putin and his butchers.

The solution is for Russia the aggressor and the invader leaves and pays for all the damages it did.

Russians in every war they've been in since Stalin are notorious for carnage to the local populace of places they've invaded.

7 ( +11 / -4 )

Bronco, no, there were forced evactuations and abductions according to people (friends) in Kherson! Those who stayed in the area - well, would you abandon your home? Or what if you were too old to evcauate? In addition quite a few were hiding and doing the best they could to fight those aggressors.

Don't twist the facts all the time! Concerning the water supply, Strangerland already gave the answer: without invading and occupying Ukrainian territory this would have never happened.

ok1517 you have better check more sources first and not to presents your feelings as facts.

Volodymyr does not deserve any comment at all/or better to say he is not worth at all/.

-12 ( +2 / -14 )

Eastman, please explain what you're referring to.

Is it concerning the deportations? - FACT!

Is it about Crimea? - FACT!

So what?

err. Who defeated the Nazis? Who is trying to clean up Us/nato mess in Libya? Defeated IS in Syria? Independence of Transnistria, Tajikistan, Chechnya, CAR, Mali, Donbass, and many more.

-11 ( +3 / -14 )

Sure Rodney, and look at what those Russian "liberators" left behind!

Mali - no human rights - The UN military force in Mali was asked to assist

Transnistria - Russian sponsored coup, actually occupied by Russia

Chechnya - The majority of the Chechen population live in conditions of acute insecurity, brutal repression, lack of justice and economic hardship. (copied from a verified source!)

And so on. Still talking about a clean-up by Russia? Like the liberation of Ukraine from Nazis?

-7 ( +3 / -10 )

"Big letters"? I assume you wanted to say "bold letters".

Elsewise, yes, I don't listen too much to Russian propaganda.

In addition, feelings and facts, I do know the difference.

So, pleas give me the different facts. Still willing to learn.

The separatists claim that the Ukrainian government has been shelling them non-stop since the Minsk agreement was signed in 2014 in direct violation of that agreement. OSCE observers have confirmed this shelling and the deaths of over 14,000 people on the separatist side. They have been pleading for help from Russia for the last 8 years.

It was Russian “help” which got them into the mess in the first place.

Kiev cut the fresh water supplies to civilians in Crimea in 2014 and has said that it will now cut it again.

This water is for the civilians to drink, wash, cook and live. It has been cut for 8 years without a peep from the west about "civilian infrastructure."

If it’s already cut, why would they cut it again.

Diddums.

I'm decidedly pro-Ukrainian, for reasons of my own, and I have had countless posts removed for being derogatory about the ruzzian invaders and war criminals. Even though I wasn't being derogatory at all, simply calling them what the brave Ukrainians fighting them are calling them.

Considering what the moscovites are doing in a place they have no right being in the first place, to people they insultingly call 'brothers' and 'countrymen', I find it hard to imagine any description that is derogatory enough. They make it harder day by day.

But I'll keep trying.

@rodney Who defeated the Nazis?

The Allies collectively defeated the Nazis, though USSR citizens, including Ukrainians, not just Russians paid the greatest price in terms of casualties. Sad that the Ukrainians have to endure the latest wave of Nazi invaders this time under the direction of the neo-nazi Kremlin. The USSR received lots of material assistance from the Allies. Does the Russian education system teach students that 'Russia" defeated the Nazis?

Forced Deportations is wrong taking people from of their homes? If they were so unhappy might have considered moving before now. Not what you expect in 2022. Ok if your mindset is 1930 that’s how you think. Rumble on wondering why everyone else seems to be more comfortable.
