Except this is not the truth.

What really happened was the Russians lost control ( or the Ukrainians/NATO took control of) an S-70 drone and then a Russian SU 57 shot down their own top spec drone to prevent the enemy having it.

The photo clearly shows the wing of an S-70. The 5th generation SU 57 can control up to 5 S-70 drones that fly with it.

There is video this incident. Ukraine does not have SU 57.

Russia has built up a considerable military force on the Eastern Front, which includes incidentally, significant formations on Donbass/Crimea origin. This is while AFU have been steadily ground down. The Autumn campaign season is in full swing with another winter one waiting.

The fiction that a few missile strikes will stop the Russian MIC lives rent free in certain quarter's head. Even worse is the belief that the relevant weapons are available in any numbers. Worse still is the completely misguided notion that Moscow wouldn't directly retaliate against the foreign parties facilitating it. Time to clean up the act.

There is no information about a shot down plane in the news sources. Only about a drone, Ohotnik (hunter).
