Ukraine should be given all the help possible to defend itself from the heinous assault by Russia.

Enough already, it’s time for peace.

It's called a war for survival. Peace has not been offered to Ukraine.

Help Ukraine now or have a wider warn that includes other countries. That's the choice.

Peace is easy to achieve. Russia leaves all of Ukraine. Russia starts paying reparations for the next 20+ yrs to Ukraine. Russia returns all stolen Ukraine children back to Ukraine and the families there. Russia agrees to a 50 mile "buffer zone" INSIDE Russia near Ukraine borders, where they aren't allowed to have any military personnel or equipment, beyond border guards.

And lastly, they turn over Putin and his cronies to the world court for their crimes to be tried.

Easy. Peace is easy. The question is, how badly do Russians want it?

Ukraine's problem is the US can't train up their pilots on the F-16 quickly enough and nobody else has an F-16 school up and running yet. The airplanes are available as NATO nations retire them for new F-35s but Ukraine has too few pilots qualified to fly them. They really need over 100 F-16s with trained pilots and trained ground crews to have any chance of using them effectively in a combined arms operation with their ground forces.

Sweden has offered to give Ukraine Gripens and they could train up pilots to fly them adding to Ukraine's pool of pilots trained to fly modern western combat jets, but now you have two complex combat jets with very different logistics requirements to maintain. Anyone who has been in that business knows it is not a trivial thing to stay ahead of the maintenance on these kinds of aircraft.

Hang on.

25 patriot batteries are now needed. A week back it was 8 and a week before that 7.

Truth is the Russian Aerospace Forces have been hammering their AD, along with a lot more.

The government 'reshuffle' first victim will be PM Denys Shmyhal - looks like him and Zelensky have had a falling out and the latter is purging his regime of anyone who crosses him as the paranoia increases.

Efforts to mobilize more troops are going according to plan, though Ukraine doesn’t have enough training grounds and 14 brigades haven’t yet received promised Western weapons.

If one believes this version of events, you've been drinking too much lemonade. Short of training grounds now...

Russia should be present at a second international gathering to discuss peace. Russia was absent from the first meeting. There is no date for a second gathering.

Yes, but not there to be told to sit on a chair and swallow the Zelensky formula. This charade will never happen.

Moscow will need its conditions seriously considered and implemented. A good starter would be the offer Putin publicly aired before the Swiss waste-of-time, which means a more stringent offer because that was then and this is now.

All of you Russian sympathizers need to get a grip on reality or perhaps have your own dwelling bombed and/or stolen by a neighbor.!. You’re the types that would watch a bigger person , start a problem against a weaker person and you’d sit back and allow it to continue.!. Never lifting a hand or intervening.!. Shame on you.!. Same usual propagandists as always.!.

The fact that the Russian believes that goodie bags should only increase in size shows they aren't yet at a place where they can be negotiated with.

The sad thing is my good friend, the war is lost for Ukraine and the way to stop more land loss and deaths is to make peace.

Indicted war criminal Putin is demanding retreat and presumably land concessions in exchange for "ceasefire". That's not the way to stop more land loss and probably deaths.

Taiwan

Mr Putin holds all the cards and Zelensky is squirming with his popularity falling daily and almost 50% of Ukrainians wanting a peace deal with Putin. His time is up and he will need to find a friendly country to protect him, he backstabbed a lot of powerful people in Ukraine. Mark my words his time in power is very limited.

Mr Putin holds all the cards

He doesn't hold the ability to enslave 30 million or more people.

and Zelensky is squirming with his popularity falling daily and almost 50% of Ukrainians wanting a peace deal with Putin.

Not peace at the cost of permanent land concessions or loss of sovereignty. Sources or it didn't happen.

His time is up and he will need to find a friendly country to protect him,

Says who? Zelenskyy doesn't have generals marching on his capital like Putin.

he backstabbed a lot of powerful people in Ukraine.

The corrupt. Isn't that what you are bleating about why Ukraine is the same as Russia?

Mark my words his time in power is very limited.

I don't think you know what you are talking about.
