Groups of 50,000/ people protesting and occupying the Ukrainian Parliament is a sham..What about the remaining 46 million population of Ukraine? Usurpation of power through unruly street protest is nothing less than Mobocrazy...this groups can be equated to thugs...who are scared of ballot box..using unfair means......

Turchynov immediately vowed to draw up a government of the people and warned Russia that he expected the Kremlin to respect his countrys pivot.

Kremlin to respect h country's pivot?

I am sorry to predict Putin will not let Ukraine go very easily. After the Sochi Olympics official closing, Putin will fight back to keep Ukraine as a part of Russia's province against the will of people of Ukraine. Putin will try to choke Ukraine to a complete financial collapse. Putin wants all sea ports along side of the Black Sea for import/export of Russian goods. He is calculating.

Putin was using the Olympics as a political tool to satisfy his objectives to send the world a new friendly positive image of Russia through the Olympics. The truth of matter is that the Russia has not been changed. It is still a brutal inhumane country against the will of people. Many still live in fear and oppression. US media NBC had made it very clear to Putin that the US media teams would not go along to be used as a bunch of his puppets.

My thoughts and prayers are with the people of Ukraine. Please let them set free from Russian control. US and EU are willing to help. What Ukraine needs now are a strong leader and a strong courage and will of the people to fight back push back Putin when he tries.

Yanukovych was a corrupt thug who likely stole the election and imprisoned his predecessor, an action widely criticised internationally, Mahongnao. Certainly the Russophilic population in the east will not be so welcoming of these developments, but their numbers seem to be growing fewer.

The major worry is Putin: Now that he no longer needs to pretend to be civilized with the Olympics behind him, he may feel a need to reel in his puppet state. The EU and the US need to work fast to stabilize Ukraine's economy and outline a way out of their situation.

Putin won't be sending Pussy Riot. He will be sending Cossacks. Figuratively speaking.

What happened in Ukraine looks like a fascist coup sponsored by America.

after the ousted pro-Russian president fled Kiev and went into hiding

Yanukovich NEVER was pro- Russian president

He was a stranger for Russia

Because of this Russia not supported him during Maidan

Because of this Russia did not want him today on its own territory

Pro - Russian - fairy tales
