Can’t these sadists stop this and save lives. Every life is precious supposedly.

Not to Putin, apparently.

The West’s love affair with Zelensky and his cause is coming to an end

I don’t know about ‘love affair’ but if you mean support for a leader of an illegally invaded country, you need to back this up.

Commentary from rightwing North American podcasts wouldn’t really cut it here.

Falseflagsteve,

yup, PUTAin and his marauders killing more innocent Ukrainian civilians.

They're just so good at this.

Glad to see that at least some Russians know what has to be done.

End this war by ending PUTAin's dictatorship!

Russia will fall apart - sooner than later!

And .......

Ukraine prevails!

Slava Ukraini!

pro-Kyiv Russian fighters

Yeah, not pro-Kyiv, just anti-Putin.

Meanwhile, Ukraine continues to target civilian areas of Donetsk with West-supplied missiles.

Military targets.

Ukraine fired British Storm Shadow missiles at the Russian-occupied port of Berdyansk, used by the Kremlin to export stolen grain.

Zelenskyy recently visited Germany, France, and Italy receiving further support and military aid from them. The EU/NATO remains strong with Zelenskyy.

Yes.

It seems to be a common theme among rightwing North American podcast watchers that support for Ukraine is on the slide, but with nothing tangible to back it up.

Very strange. It’s like they are all singing from the same hymn sheet.

8 ( +10 / -2 )

Bunk. There is no part of that rubbish that is even remotely true.

Its just the wishful thinking of Puttie's clueless rubes.

6 ( +12 / -6 )

Ukraine doesn't even have enough (western or homemade) ammo to target nonmilitary infrastructure if they wanted to.

Meanwhile, Ukraine continues to target civilian areas of Donetsk with West-supplied missiles.

That still going on? Someday the FSB archives will be released and we will know for sure.

That Ukraine can reliably down Russia's Iskander calls into question vlads nuclear saber rattling as this is the primary delivery system for tactical nuclear weapons in the Russian arsenal.

Zelenskyy attended a meeting in Moldova, 20 km from the Russian border. European Leaders Summit. Meanwhile, Putin is holed up in his Moscow basement.

The West’s love affair with Zelensky and his cause is coming to an end. The Spring Offensive has been shown to be false, perhaps over estimating his militaries capabilities or maybe he is deluded and cannot cope, only time will tell

You only got two more seasons to keep pushing for cutting and running. I know you can make it through!

Kiev

Kyiv

4 ( +7 / -3 )

Kiev.

Okraina/original historical name/.now Ukroruina/reality/.

Interesting.

Where are you from mate? I’m always happy to learn from people who know the language and history well.

3 ( +7 / -4 )

@Eastman

Disappointing.

Doesn’t really answer my question, does it? I could have got that from our rightwing North American podcast watchers.

I think I’ll stick with ‘Kyiv’ if it’s all the same, mate.

3 ( +7 / -4 )

Ok put it this way. This conflict could be avoided,if west wanted to hear Russia and discussed with them as two equal partners. This did not happen.Btw did you ever heard about Minsk agreements?

So surrender to Putin's demands to rollback NATO. What made Putin think he could afford that?

3 ( +6 / -3 )

However if Russia decided to use more lethal weaponry that would also end the conflict or as you say military solution.

You're right, it will end it because NATO will strafe Crimea like you've never seen.

2 ( +5 / -3 )

Eastman - Why should the US treat Russia as an equal power, when Russia does not treat others as equals?

2 ( +5 / -3 )

I don't care what Russia drags up as a reason. There is no excuse to invade another nation unless that nation invaded you first. Of course Ukraine is going to fight back and of course we are going to continue to support them.

2 ( +5 / -3 )

I believe the reason is that the kleptocracy currently in control of Russia thought it could increase its wealth and power easily by chewing off another chunk of Ukraine since the world appeared to allow them to do so in 2014. Russia miscalculated and refuses to back down and go home, so here we are.

2 ( +5 / -3 )

Let's hope Russia doesn't use more lethal weaponry.

Such as what? The Armata T-14? A tank so stealthy that nobody has ever seen one on the battlefield.

Maybe they have some new advanced shovels.

1 ( +4 / -3 )

Peace will prevail at the end since this conflict have no military solution.

Russia thought there was a military solution when they invaded. What would you tell Russia, Eastman?

1 ( +4 / -3 )

I'm not sure I am understanding you Eastman. Russia invaded Ukraine. Russia obviously doesn't see Ukraine as an equal member of the community of nations, do they?

1 ( +4 / -3 )

Eastman

UChosePoorly

sure you wont understand.as there was some reason or pretext for that action.

The pretext is NATO expansion, but that is a lie. The reason is imperialism. Putin wants Ukraine to be part of Russia. In fact, he believes it isn't a separate country.

but yes you believe that it happen for no reason, just one day VV Putin woke up and say lets do it.

That's exactly what happened.

Commentary from rightwing North American podcasts wouldn’t really cut it here.

Yeah, you can kind of understand how a few septics are not so clever with geopolitics, but when it's Brits, they just be embarrassed with themselves.
