That is what Russia has been doing daily in Ukraine for three years.

This war could end tomorrow if Putin wanted peace.

The Age of Drones is now upon us threatening civilian populations, but also the security of complacent politicians with assassination from the sky.

Good for Ukraine. This is one of the ways they can bring russia to the negotiating table.

Russian President Vladimir Putin. . . . has called Ukrainian drone attacks that target civilian infrastructure such as nuclear power plants "terrorism".

Idiot, so what do you call it when do exactly the same thing first including hospitals and residential areas❗

Last gasps of pathetic anger and desperation by Ukraine, as Russia continues to hit Ukraine with hundreds of times more arial firepower on a daily basis.

Peace cannot come soon enough for the failed leadership and state of Ukraine with no 'plan' other than status quo path of destruction.

Hopefully good PEACE news out of Saudi Arabia this week!

As usual, when they get hammered on the battlefield the Ukrainians come up with a pointless PR stunt to fool their supporters they are still "winning".

Srtriking Moscow is mostly symbolic and hardly likely to bring them to the table. I'm sure more of the drones went after things like oil production, refineries, transportation and economic infrastructure. That's where Ukraine can hit back and do damage. Russia's economy is their achilles heel, and perhaps the only thing that might force them to concede anything during negotiations. Ukraine may as well fire off everything it has because shortly they will be forced into what is effectively a surrender to Russian terms of peace by Trump.

Russia just a few days ago launched a massive drone and missile strike on Ukraine, killing more than 20 people, believing that Ukraine no longer having US intelligence to support strikes on Russian territory will mean Ukraine won’t fight back. Doesn’t matter what Trump cedes to Russia, this whole thing has made Russians less safe in their homeland, and it won’t improve soon.

The warlords in Wall Street are try to make the last few sale deals through the US administration, regardless of the Ukrainian lives being lost

-8 ( +4 / -12 )

Good for Ukraine, fight to the end to protect your home! Putin needs to go to jail for the rest of his life.

Takes two to tango, civil war began in 2014, escalated under Biden Admin to Global Proxy War = why it's on our radar

-9 ( +5 / -14 )

The reality is that majority of Ukrainians want peace negotiations to start, but the White House is not done with their weapons deals and pressures the Kyiv regime to send its 18 year old kids to the frontlines.

Russia has single-handedly stopped American aggression. And any negotiations will have to start with the military situation on the ground.

This senseless war being waged by Russia is far from over. Trump has in his treasonous stupidity just encouraged Europe to step forward to stop Russia. He has, in one fell swoop altered (read: diminished) the US defense posture in Europe in place since 1949. Trump just took us all another step closer to WWIII.

Desperation attacks. Nothing strategic hit.

The head of the OSCE sec. gen is in Moscow for talks, so they attempted this pity-party to try and pretend they are 'tough'. Plus, Trump's golfing buddy is reportedly coming back to Moscow for talks this week with his new pal Mr. Putin himself (his second such meeting in a month).

Launching drones can be perilous:

Europe's day late and dollar short on defense spending.

They're still haggling about their new-found desire to spend on defense. It'll take MANY years before it even moves needle even a little = time Ukraine does not have.

Peace should be official sometime this summer, then the work of rebuilding and economic development can begin with Non NATO aligned peacekeepers deployed.

This is to remind the Russian populace that there's a deadly war going on that can affect them, even when the Russian government is trying to hide it from them

Just like the Vietnam War's Tet Offensive reminded the American populace that there's a deadly war going on, even when the American government was trying to hide it from its own people. And it affected the populace

Ukraine wants peace, but NOT peace AT ALL COST. Peace at all cost is well-known in history by another name, which our British friends very much know - it's called APPEASEMENT by then-UK Prime Minister Chamberlain. It didn't work with Hitler then; it won't work with Putin now

Ukraine wants JUSTIFIABLE peace that will last, not one that's just kicking the can down the road, where Russia could just attack them again, and the whole cycle gets repeated. Peace NOW but that leads to war in the FUTURE is not REAL peace - that's just kicking the can; that's just APPEASEMENT

Learn from history - appeasement doesn't work!

8 ( +12 / -4 )

No appeasement, just reality that continued funding of Ukraine global proxy war will only further damage global security and currency real asset purchasing power, while risking WWIII with ZERO benefit other than empowering Iran and China, while wrecking US military readiness, and further pointless death and destruction of Ukraine.

Well, they'd best disarm, declare strict neutrality and demarcate borders taking into account new realities on the ground. That is 100% the fastest way to settle this. Russia won't go for a ceasefire: they have made clear the conflict must be resolved through legally binding agreements that address its root causes for good.

Looks like the US and Kyiv delegations have all arrived, they are in the room, getting seated. Looks like Yermak didn't want to get a dressing down:

And they are in the meeting room. In a few hours hopefully we'll know the result:

Takes two to tango

But only one to illegally annex Crimea, then unilaterally start the largest war in Europe since WWII: Putin.

civil war began in 2014

Still not a civil war. It is an unprovoked, unilateral war of conquest by Putin.

Russia has single-handedly stopped American aggression.

Copy and pasting yet again? Then, I shall return the favor yet again.

There is no American aggression.

The war was started by Putin, and Putin alone.

Ukraine global proxy war

Still not a proxy war. It is an unprovoked, unilateral war of conquest by Putin.

Russia won't go for a ceasefire: they have made clear the conflict must be resolved through legally binding agreements

As if Putin would keep his word on anything (other than a threat to kill someone).

The only thing that will stop him -- both now, and for the future aggression he is no doubt planning -- is overwhelming military force.
