Ukraine has increasingly targeted naval facilities in Crimea in recent weeks while the brunt of its summer counteroffensive makes slow gains

Zelensky's full-scale counter offensive, which he claimed would take only 3 hours to reach the coast, has been an abysmal failure.

He has nothing left except to lash out against the civilians in Crimea.

The Army Tactical Missile System, known as ATACMS, could give Ukraine the ability to strike Russian targets from as far away as about 180 miles (300 kilometers)

Why is the US always upping the ante?

... because their plans are failing and they're constantly underestimating the resilience of Russian conscripts in standing their ground and defending the Russian speaking areas.

The Black Sea Fleet headquarters aren't civilians.

Well at least part of the reason is that NATO hasn't been stockpiling shells since WW2 like Russia. They were, you know, trying to get on with life.

Zone2surf - if you invade my home, rape my wife, kill my kids, take my toilet, and then set up shop in my den, I am going to come at you like a war-criming spider monkey until you are dead or gone. Don't like it? Don't invade my home.

Thuban - as 2020 said, the Black Sea Fleet HQ and Russia ships are not civilians, they are invaders. Also, those civilians in the photos and video don't look too scared to me, almost like they know the Ukrainians aren't aiming at civilians and the weapons are accurate.

That must be why CNN (I know, I know) is reporting Ukrainian drones used to attack Wagner group in Sudan.

Ukraine again kicking the stuffing out of the Russian invaders - making them look like the incompetent bumblers they are...

The picture of the Russian Kilo-class sub Rostov-on-Don with the huge hole in its side says it all...

Rostov-on-Don is wrecked beyond repair, making it the first submarine the Russian or Soviet navy has lost in combat since World War II.

Well done Ukrainians...

The propaganda is so thick and so bad in this article one might think the U.S. is the one doing the fighting instead of this being a proxy war. Why is the press so desperate regarding this? Even if American and West European people decided they were sick of funding this insanity, what are they going to do? Cry on the internet? They won't do anything at all, so why care? They are free to take the money and run with it. People don't really protest anymore. The internet is well controlled by sock puppets, AI and human assisted chat bots churning out lie after lie. The votes are rigged. So what's to worry about?

But yeah, there are plenty of people who actually think Crimeans want to be "liberated" by Ukraine. What a farce! Those people declared independence in 1992 and in 1995 who crushed it? Ukraine! And when Russia moved in who cut off the civilian water supply to Crimea? Ukraine! Who kills civilians crossing civilian bridges in Crimea? Ukraine! And now who bombs their territory? Ukraine!

The people of Crimea love Ukraine about as much as Ukraine loves them....not at all! And if Ukraine ever retakes Crimea, its going to be a civilian blood bath. Its obvious whatever the bots say.

After these latest missiles landed in their midst, the people of Sevastopol are finally beginning to get woke and understand the difference between a "special operation" and a war (you can't fool all of the people all of the time - and no, that's not a Russian proverb).

Hit ‘em again! Hit ‘em again!

Punch that bear right in the mouth!

Way to go Ukraine!

What's the propaganda here? They are just reporting facts.

It was quite a feat to attack a crucial command and control center of the Black Sea fleet. It took a coordinated attack with many drones and missiles to achieve a pinpoint hits on crucial Russian navy infrastructure and commanders.

Also, this isn't a proxy war.

And Russia still controls almost 20% of Ukraine territory.

And Russia still controls almost 20% of Ukraine territory.

Which is much, much less than they controlled last year.

Keep going Ukraine.

He has nothing left except to lash out against the civilians in Crimea.

Its an easy mistake to make given that the two are about equally competent in military skill, but Russian soldiers are not actually civilians.

False.

Keep going Ukraine.

Yeah--been 9 years since Crimea.

Storm Shadow missiles. They had to launch 10.

Empty building.

Don’t mention the counter offensive.
