One can only imagine the Russian’s appetite for war if their own cities could be held at equal risk.

One thing is for certain, Ukraine is not going to forget this. Mini-me has created a permanent “non-friendly” population on his SW border.

It's going to be a long winter for Ukraine..

Thanks to those Russian aggressors the misery for Ukrainians will increase.

Calling it terror isn't enough. Those "Z" folks do their utmost to commit genocide!

They want to erase anything and everything connected to Ukraine ....

..... but Ukraine will prevail!

It almost seems that Ukraine has learned what not to do from the Russians impaling themselves around Bakhmut.

It almost seems that Zelensky's army is refusing to fight for Kherson unless the separatist fighters promise to flee.

Deja vu. Syria all over again.

Didn't see so many articles here or anywhere devoted to the suffering of the Syrians the way so many articles are devoted to sympathy for the Ukraine.

Bronco ,if Zelensky main benefactor kick him too the curb,do you Zelensky is little less secure about himself today, maybe the US was just experimenting with weapon systems, and testing weapons out on the Russian

Time to start making peace when those who pay the bills are done with the free money and free weapons.

It almost seems that Zelensky's army is refusing to fight for Kherson unless the separatist fighters promise to flee.

First, there are really no separatists left fighting there, it’s regular Russian forces (a lot of conscripts) and the Nazzi linked Wagner group.

And it seems the Ukrainians aren’t as easily tricked as the Russian’s were a bit earlier, doesn’t it?

If Kherson residents, who are ostensibly Ukrainian citizens, are being mistreated in anyway by the Russians, shouldn't Zelensky's army be eager to roll in and save them.

So you’re agreeing that Putin’s annexation was illegal and he really didn’t make everyone there a Russian citizen? Anyway, be patient Ukraine will take over soon enough.

No targeting of Putin, of the Russian government, of the Kremlin, of the Russian Parliament, of Russian energy stores, airports or rail links, of Moscow's power, water, heating or Russian nuclear power stations. So Putin will assume Ukraine and the West are soft and weak and just carry on. He has bet the farm on this and cannot back down. US 'private' calls for talks also suggest Western weakness. Consequently, Ukrainians will suffer and the country will be trashed.

At one point, the Wagner group pulled its goons out of Libya. Striking two jets would have wiped out a heap of them. The West didn't bother. They let them go. Dictators smell weakness and exploit it.

Putin did the same as he is doing to Ukrainians in Syria (and still is), but the West didn't care too much about that and still don't.

We should all flood Ukraine with the help it needs to endure and survive. Furthermore, we must hold Russia fully responsible and accountable for this catastrophe they’ve willfully created.

The fact the US designated Syria a State Sponsor of Terrorism might have something to do with this.

On my local news there were reports of consideration on evacuation of whole Kyiv if heat, water and power problem is not resolved for winter and we are taking about 3 mil people. Such a sad scene it will be if it comes to it, I have no idea how will they pull that off.

My fear for heating shelters is that they become targets for air strikes.

Russia doesn't seem to care about war crimes, and collateral damage.

If they can make citizens fear that the heating shelters might be targeted, then they might not be used.

When war broke out in Feb, many Ukrainiabs panicked and fled, but soon they returned to home after they saw Kyiv was left alone.

However If you live in Kyiv, or the other Ukrainian hub cities, now it's the time to seek refuge elsewhere.

Society don't last long without electricity, clean water and toilets
