Tell me again how Ukraine is fighting for liberty and freedom?!

Make no mistake, Zelensky and his henchmen are intolerant, totalitarian tyrants. Complete with Nazi loving army units.

And the West supports them.... why?

Western Christian leader support Ukraine.... why?

Don't believe the propaganda being spewed by Western governments and Western media. The situation in Ukraine is FAR more complicated than they want you to believe!

Putin is imprisoning Russians who speak against his war.

Nonsense. There is an existential threat to the Ukrainian state, and you expect the state to allow for speech/action which directly imperils the existence of the state? What an absurd standard.

Complete with Nazi loving army units.

A very, very small portion of the Ukrainian military might be considered rightwing extremists, but not most of the Ukrainian military. Also, their are "Nazi loving army units" in the Russian military too.

lol No. It's actually pretty straightforward. Putin chose to illegally invade Ukraine, and now his forces are being turned into sunflower fertilizer.

Very advanced. Apparently Russian troops bury themselves.

Amen to that.

Love the pro-fascist Russia supporters on here railing against Zelenskyy being "intolerant", "nazi-loving" etc. Meanwhile, shaky midget Putins fascist Russia is poisoning, murdering, seeing dissidents "fall" off buildings, die in "car accidents" - and thousands of political opponents - including the opposition leader - languish in jails.

Fascist Russia is the closest regime to Nazi Germany we have seen in 80 years. It will finish the same way.

With his words alone the Zelenskyy-cursin' priest Pavel has proved to be a most suspicious character, if not as holy a fascist as his Putin-praisin' Orthodox counterpart across the border. Meddling priests are sometimes best kept incommunicado at home while the problems outside in the real world are being resolved without "divine" intervention.

If you want to know the bias and ifvs news organization is doing propaganda then here is a hint

The subject of this article

Ukrainian court puts Orthodox leader under house arrest

This puts Zelensky in a bad light.

So after the actual article/subject

Everything from

In other news Saturday, ...............

To......the Foreign Office tweeted late Friday.

Has nothing to do with this subject and is pure propaganda.

If it was actual news it would have been the subject of its own article.

Just so people are aware: The Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) is part of the Moscow Patriarchate, which is headed by Father Kirill. Father Kirill is an avowed supporter of the Russian invasion, and has even go so far as to say "dying in Ukraine will absolve soldiers of their sins." https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/orthodox-church-leader-says-russian-soldiers-dying-ukraine-will-be-cleansed-sin-2022-09-26/

Here's some more information on Father Kirill.

The former Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams, has said he finds Patriarch Kirill's sentiment concerning.

"There are elements in the Russian Christian tradition that can become really toxic when they get in their head a particular kind of Christian nationalism, a sort of messianic approach to the fate of the nation," said Dr Williams during a visit to western Ukraine this week.

Dr Williams has long studied and written about the positive contribution of the Russian Orthodox Church, and appears deeply saddened by the role the Moscow Patriarchate is playing in the war.

"I think that the increasing influence in the Patriarchate of Moscow of ultranationalist ideals - often including a strand of anti-Semitism - has been going on for some time.

So frequently here, Russian sympathizers here will claim the Ukrainian government is anti-semitic, or that they are rightwing extremists etc., yet here we those same people defending institutions engaging in the same sort of conduct. Weird, huh?

It looks more and more like the Ukrainian war is a religious and cultural conflict.
