They are lucky, they can enter EU without a visa. African and middle eastern have a major headache. Interesting where they will go. Not many Europeans speak Russian or Ukrainian, so suddenly 5,000,000 refugees.

This is what the Butcher in Moscow has begat.....families and children fleeing for their lives from his bombs and missiles....

He's gone completely mad - and is convinced he is a new Peter The Great....

Stand up to this madman - like the world did to the madman in the 1940s....

Ukrainians flee war, seeking safety across western borders:

This is the immediate collateral damage of the war, the exodus of refugees to neighboring countries.

As the war intensifies, expect many more people running away to take refuge across the border..

Hearts go out to the innocent Ukrainians brutally forced from their beloved homeland. Harrowing scenes of fleeing children kissing their dads goodbye, as they stay to defend their nation in any way they can.

May good fortune and strength smile upon the Ukraine people. We stand with you!

Putin threatened to topple the democratic government and scramble the post-Cold War world order?

No government that came after a bloody coup & protected by its bayonets can be called democratic. The last democratic Ukrainian government , including President Yanukovych, was thrown by bloody coup in February 2014, which was fully orchestrated, financed & supported by Washington.

The people of Ukraine rose up because of elections rigged by Yanukovych. Every election since then has been free and fair. Free and fair elections are not the Russian way. Putin rigs all elections so that only he can win. Imprison, exile, assassinate or simply refuse to let popular candidates compete. Then rig the count in your favor. Yanukovych got caught and the Ukrainian people made sure he was overthrown. Something Russians need to emulate to be rid of Putin.

Never understand the need for people to lie about what is common knowledge.

But some will always tell their lies in the hopes readers may fall for them.

Name a few such candidates.

Fighto!

Hearts go out to the innocent Ukrainians brutally forced from their beloved homeland.

Are the same noble feelings extended to the tens of thousands of Donbass refugees whose homes were destroyed by Ukrainian missiles & artillery over the past 8 years?

The expected result of belittling and made up accusations to stop people who were becoming popular with voters and removed from contention.

Poisoning, attempted assassination and imprisonment, slander, it is all there. It is more like a hollywood drama than Russian reality. But Putins fear of popular oposition figures drives his need to rig elections. He knows he is not popular to the people and cant win a real election process.

Because they want closer ties to the West?

Kind of difficult to discuss anything if you can’t even grasp the basics. Here’s a hint, NATO. Here’s another, NATO.

what does that even mean “closer ties”?

Ukraine didn't invade Russia. Never forget that FACT.

Russia invaded Ukraine in 2014 and moved farther into Ukraine in 2022 without any good reason.
