U.N. chief: Climate change aggravates conflict and terrorism

I'll take Guterres and his ilk seriously when they cease flying around the world at someone else's expense telling us all to to behave a certain way while they do the opposite of what they preach. One of the chief "aggrieving factors" is UN hubris, not climate change.

Climate yesterday, today and tomorrow will remain the same - invincible. Floods, wildfires, earthquakes, tsunamis and the works has been with us from day one. None of these are facts of nature have nothing to do with terrorism and conflicts or what-ever-the-heck these clowns are referring to. The world is not the problem, people are.

In Iraq and Syria, Islamic State extremists have “exploited water shortages (....),

So it is all about "climate change", and ideology has nothing to do with it? What a simple world.

all the jet-setting talking heads are really good at saying what's wrong.... but how many of them offer solutions and implement them?

That is not a result of climate change, it is a result of extractive capitalism and a legacy of imperialism, and the collusion with corrupt local authorities.

The sham must go on acvording to a certain political bent.
