It is their country now. Cut off all ties and let them rule their little world disconnected from the educated, civilized, world.

Any country that subjugates 50% of their population just over an accident of birth needs to be cut off from the rest of the world.

USA has deprived 50% of their population of women’s rights over their own bodies just because of their gender. Maybe the Taliban has learnt from western ideaoligies.

It's their country so I guess that means they'll do as they please.

You are confused. 13 states effectively ended abortion, not all 50. 20 states and D.C. protect abortion legally.

This means that perhaps 25% of women in the US will have a harder time getting an abortion, if they wish it.

OTOH, women in the US can drive, go anywhere alone, get educated, and don't generally need to worry about a male relative killing them as an honor killing. Additionally, 12 yr old girls aren't sold to old men or former Taliban fighters to become wives, except in illegal situations. I can't say these things never happen in the US, but they happen in Japan about as much, I'd guess. There have been a few 'honor killings' of women in the US, but this is almost always due to 1st generation Islamic immigrants. The law comes down hard on them, fast in the US, unlike in Afghanistan.

Did the Taliban adopt the democratic election process too?

Ouch! That's harsh referring to one's sex as an accident of birth. Most Taliban are probably not educated enough to know this but the funny irony of their misogyny is that it is the male who determines the sex of the child. The woman always contributes the X chromosome but it is the man who contributes either another X chromosome in which case the baby is genetically female, or a Y chromosome in which case the baby is genetically male. Some men do not have Y chromosomes in their sperm and only have X chromosomes to contribute but in more primitive societies it is too often the woman who is blamed for not producing a male heir.

Expel them from the UN too.

It's their country

How to define "their"?

There are lots of accidents of birth that we don't control.

M/F is one.

Good parents, family economic status, location in the world, inherited religion, skin color is another. Availability of opportunities, overall fairness for everyone in the country of birth are a few more.

Or did you get to pick any of those things for yourself? I didn't. They were all accidents, random.
