"Sweden, which holds the European Union’s rotating presidency, said the United Nations should reconsider its presence in Geneva, where it employs thousands of people and holds hundreds of conferences each year." Sweden should just shut up. Not in position to give any lessons.

Switzerland is not forbidding Islam nor building expulsion camps for Arabs around the country. Just putting a halt on building minarets.

"limitation on the coexistence of different cultures and religions also endangers our security," Thanks Micheline. OK. Next time I'll vote against the ban for the fear of our security and bend over.

Remember. 57.5% that shows a clear division but an absolute majority.

"U.N. human rights chief Navi Pillay said Sunday’s referendum to outlaw the construction of minarets in Switzerland was the product of anti-foreigner scare-mongering." The same guys whom put Libya at the head of the Human Right Commission. Like Sweden, please shut up.

Navi Pillay it is not “anti-foreigner scare-mongering” the swiss is just ban the construction of "new" minarets across the country.

they did not order it to be destroyed, hang whoever build it or call for the death to ...foreigner like some peace lover chanted death to America and Israel as we just saw in iran's hajj.

don't blame people who fear of the Islam's bad image. nobody give islam the image they have today. it is the muslim build the bad image for islam. blame them and ask them to stop that.

Bah, go and find "tolerance" in a muslim country and get back to me.

They should kearn to intergrate and be respectful members of their minority community.

If not, I'm sure they'll be welcomed in their home countries as they leave Europe in disgust/......

Yeah, I'm kind of wondering if the UN has gone on record slamming the lack of religious freedom in Muslim nations.
