OK - this is British Commonwealth. Don't be too rough on him. He just tries to emulate Andrew the Pedo.

Welp, he resigned. The right thing to do, just to avoid even the appearance of a conflict of interest.
Too bad this guy didn't have an "artist" son like President Biden. Then he could get all the anonymous online cash...I mean, "purchase payments", he could possibly wish for, just like Joe And Co do right now! Without a care in the world!
And not a single "progressive" would say anything was wrong with this situation...just like they refuse to say a single bad word about Biden's Bum Son's "Art" Sums! lol. Oh, the hypocrisy!

Who will be the Australian récipient of the DONATION to cancel the sum marine deal ?
the Nissan issue is petty much a joke facing this trahison between allies . Poor Autralians debarking in Normandy should be not resting in peace anymore

The Australian subs are to be constructed in Australia, not the US or the UK.

So correct me if I'm mistaken but this fellow is accused of having sex with an underage girl, but it happened decades ago when he was also underage. My recollection is he was only two years older than the girl he had sex with. Two teens having sex. Poor judgement perhaps but not quite the same as the pedophilia some conflate this too.

I should have read some basic info on the subject more carefully. Indeed, my comment doesn't makes sense. In fact, there are many stories of politicians being accused of molesting/raping/etc. The pattern is similar - an accuser reports events that happened ten-twenty years ago, general outrage, the politician resigns. Some cases look authentic, but sometimes one could suspect "dark forces" - lobbyists or rivals trying to remove an inconvenient person. Perhaps, there will be more developments regarding Porter's case.
