I will give Trump his due here. He called them out and they (and the others then called out by the media) are coughing up. Well done.

A thing done right.

Eventually all of the $2+ trillion dollar payouts will be public record.

Trump's latest tax forms would show how much he skimmed for himself. If he'd show them - like he said he would. (I know, I know: between 124 & 18,000 'intentional misinformations', including that one)

Maybe Jared and Ivanka's tax forms, too.

And for that matter everyone in Trump's admin.

Plus of course all members of congress.

All of the businesses and institutions who are considering their lucky windfalls now should think twice about taking money they do not need.

All those yacht owners who rent their boat out once in a while and thus qualify as a small business should reconsider.

Eventually all of the $2+ trillion dollar payouts will be public record.

They already get hundreds of million in R&D money from the government anyway.

Chip Star - The republicans sure made a mess out of this stimulus by allowing wealthy entities in on the cash grab. It’s very telling that now Moscow Mitch is worrying about adding to the debt: his wealthy supporters already got their oversized piece of the pie

Chip Star - Pure speculation.

You said it.

which is irrelevant now, because we caught it. What else did Dems hide in that bill?

this is why we wanted just a straight coronavirus relief ONLY bill. Also why Nancy delayed the timing, to be able to hide pork in it.

Nancy established an oversight committee that should have caught this. But they likely didn’t want to catch it so here we are.

Pure speculation.

That was a quick turnaround.

this was a bipartisan bill approved by both sides. Nancy established an oversight committee that should have caught this. But they likely didn’t want to catch it so here we are.

Good on Harvard, Stanford and Princeton and any other of the 'elite' private universities not accepting bailout money.

Each has departments funded by the military-industrial-academic complex.

Each has long received billions in federal research grant moneys.

Though I don't like to see so much tax money spent for military research, each of these universities, among hundreds of others has used grant money to conduct research in a number of areas that directly benefit the general population.
