Pretty sorry bunch of possible PM's but at leasrt BJ will push Brexit thru and get on with other tasks.  The stock view that pushing Brexit is somehow "right wing" or "supported by zealots" is a little facile.  I think some of the doom and gloom around Brexit is a bit overdone.  There is certainly every chance that over time being out of the EU will prove to have social and economic benefits that outweigh the disadvantages of not being a member.

 I don't want to hear any excuses from voters about how it was too cold/windy/rainy/otherwise meteorologically unpleasant to get their bums out of the armchair and get down to vote.

Icy roads can affect elderly people going out. My elderly mum slipped and fell on ice in the past and she’s now scared to go out when the roads are slippery.

The weather forecast doesn’t show snow/icy conditions on Thursday. Let’s hope they got this right.

Sad to see the UK drifting away from Europe,after all our forefathers wanted to created a united Europe in order to avoid all the disasters we did in the last centuries,no more wars between us,friendship,cooperation,share our common values and backgrounds.

Brexit was very similar. You have to ask why people near the end of their lives want to saddle young people with something they clearly do not want. Do they think they are "helping" young people by doing this?

In Japan, old people are often blamed for reelecting the LDP, but the actual numbers don't bear that out. It is nothing like the UK data in my link. In the last general election, many under 40s Japanese voted for the LDP.

Britain doesn't need to just clamp down on immigrants who haven't arrived yet BUT also all those that have overstayed their visa's - lets hope the British don't vote for Jeremy Corbin or Socialism will prevail.

It bothers me that this is the article they write. The Tory Party and Johnson deserve the general public's rancour, not its sympathy.

My father is 99, British and a UK resident. He voted remain in the referendum. I am British, I pay UK tax but because I worked and lived in EU countries for over 15 years am not allowed to vote. Democracy? Brexit has divided the country and emboldened the racists. This election will not solve that problem but might be a turning point if Boris is stopped.
