The United States, Britain and other countries opposed to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad will not support the reconstruction of the country until there is a political transition "away from Assad,"

Just take a moment to think about how morally questionable this is. Wealthy western nations are withholding money that could help ordinary Syrians rebuild their lives, until a dictator (who Syrians have no control over) either steps down or is overthrown. How can any decent person justify making humanitarian aid contingent on a specific political outcome? Should people also withhold their UNICEF and Save the Children donations until Assad steps down? Let's not play politics with the lives of ordinary people who got caught up in this through no fault of their own.

The anti-Assad nations are anything but "friends of Syria", and they are directly responsible for causing this mess in the first place.

Stuck in the middle of the story...

Earlier this year the Trump administration also halted the CIA’s covert program to equip and train certain rebel groups fighting Assad.

Deserves repeating for the globalists and the anti Trump JT Subjective Justice Warriors.

What?? US and UK call themselves “Friends of Syria”? As if wolves called themselves "Friends of the sheep".

The West are all too happy to keep interfering in Syria while a mad man in NK does as he pleases and is a far bigger threat to World peace, but the West do not dare upset China the cheap manufacturing base that enables Western companies to make fat profit from cheap labour.
