What about those political influence from US and UK? Are they not 'foreign' countries to Australia as well?

Japan needs something like that. I wonder what country then will be the suspect of "foreign political influence"?

China already cracks down on foreign political influence, so what's good for the goose

It's about Money, rather than Foreign Government meddling... a difficult line to walk.

I'm sorry, but Australia, you need to stop being reliant on one country for exports. Do that first, because everything else is just empty words.

Another thing that seems to be cracking is the general Western stance of being open. Many Western countries condemn other countries for not allowing foreign (Western) influence in their countries, but now they're doing the exact same. Your are following their lead.
