Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said curbs in Auckland would be eased from Monday, but would be tightened again if needed.

That’s the most rationalist attitude I’ve heard of any leader have towards this whole pandemic. Seriously.

And regardless of what you think of them making masks mandatory on Monday, the whole general attitude that the curbs will be easy for now, but tightened if needed. That is seriously nothing but rational.

Limits will stay on public gatherings and movement in Auckland, however, with masks made mandatory nationwide from Monday.

Wrong, wrong, wrong! Masks are NOT compulsory in New Zealand from Monday, and whoever wrote this needs to get their facts straight. Masks will be compulsory on New Zealand public transport only. Everywhere else it is advised but not compulsory.

'Stats' don't mean diddly. The death rate isn't a high percentage, it never has been but that doesn't stop the fact that many people are getting sick because too many people ain't using their noggins.
