Is VP Biden any less a good person today than he was a year ago, 3 yrs ago, 10 yrs ago because of something over 40 yrs ago?

Democrats want to burn the world to the ground taking anyone proven with them. So sad.

Biden is out of touch, like all the old guard Democrats. Both parties need tearing down and restructuring.

America cannot continue as it is. The 2 party system does not truly serve the people.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

The only other party we need is an Independent party where both sides liberal, conservative, libertarian can come together that would be a great thing. The other two can keep their radicals.

Yeah, because God forbid programs like Medicare exist if it means working with those vile segregationists.

It's one thing not to call them out; it's another to put virtue signaling above the public welfare.

Biden's initial remarks were made as he lamented that political leaders in the United States had lost the ability to work together in an increasingly polarized nation.

It wouldn't be so polarized if the Democrats weren't so out of step with the American people on so many issues.

Booker told the audience the next president should have a track record of helping African-Americans.

Lowest unemployment rate ever for blacks. Does that count, Cory?

Biden is a good man. These attacks on him only serve the republicans. They love the Democratic circular firing squad that Obama warned us about.

Biden was in Sumter and Orangeburg, SC, today. His campaign stump there was carried on C-SPAN2. Man, he sounds like he is (1) on his last breath, and (2) has time traveled to the 1950s; speaking/wheezing on issues about segregation, his favorite three-letter word: J-O-B-S and disparities in race that government can do “so much more” about. He said all this to a standing room only crowd of 30 people. Pull the fork out of him.

Mr. Biden is sorry. Very sorry.

@Crazy Joe

Biden is a good man. These attacks on him only serve the republicans. They love the Democratic circular firing squad that Obama warned us about.

Who is attacking him? Certainly not other Democrats! Must be the Ruskies up to no good again.

”Obama warned” you? I thought the candidates were trying to out-Obama Obama.

Sounds like you're not gonna be happy when Kamala Harris is nominated. Well, better President Harris than another 4 years of Captain Chaos, right?

Pull the fork out of him

Not so fast! He's still got a 2 point lead over Kamala! And she still ain't been asked hard questions - for example why she put so many blacks in jail for something she claimed she did - smoke weed. But, no, Biden simply doesn't have the charisma or stamina to stay ahead of Kamala, Warren simply has too much baggage with her lying about her ethnicity for 40 years, Bernie too old, most of the others fading and the Dems are too dumb to nominate their only chance to beat Trump, Tulsi Gabbard, so, yeah, it'll be Kamala.

"Yes, I was, and I regret it. And I'm sorry for any of the pain or misconception I may have caused anybody."

Biden, like many Democrats of his generation, was a segregationists and closet racist. He still defends his stance against integration in public schools (ie no busing). The vast majority of the Dixiecrats that splintered from the Democrat party in the late 1940’s returned to their natural home with their like minded racists in the Dem party. Despite Leftist propaganda only two later became Republicans. The Democrats remain fixated of racial tribalism to gain electoral victories. The Democrat parties use of race has evolved and mutated since the party’s founding but it remains a potent weapon in their ideological toolbox. The latest racist gambit comes from Senator Harris’ presidential campaign. She wants to take $100 billion from the US Treasury and give it away to only black families to buy houses with.

He's still got a 2 point lead over Kamala -- comment

Heh, any legal U.S. voter (democrat socialist, republican or independent) who honestly believes presidential polls 16 months before the general election should talk to President Hillary.

During a June 27 debate among Democratic contenders seeking to run against incumbent Republican President Donald Trump, U.S. Senator Kamala Harris called Biden's comments "hurtful," though she said she did not believe Biden is a racist.

Harris has built her political career on being an inveterate opportunist void of substance.

If anyone owes anyone an apology, Harris owes one to Biden.

She's certain to be taken to task for her flip flopping at the next debate.

She's probably now done more than any other Dem to boost Trump's re-election chances.

She'd better get it together or she'll be judged harshly.

Why is Joe's past not surprising, he lives in a very rich white neighbourhood

I can't argue with hardly any of that! Thumbs up, Crazy! Don't think she's actually ever going to get it together though, oh, she'll probably get the nomination as she's "black" and will get most of the black primary votes and will probably get more black votes than Trump even though Trump has done way more for blacks than Kamala ever has. At least Trump never prosecuted blacks or anyone else for smoking weed.

"America in 2019 is a very different place than the America of the 1970s," Biden said, according to prepared remarks. "And that's a good thing. I've witnessed an incredible amount of change in this nation and I've worked to make that change happen. And yes – I've changed also."

Biden admits that he was/is a racist. But the part where he says America has changed is against the Democrats race hustling narrative. The party is constantly talking about systemic racism and white privilege.

I think you all need to look at a recent Legal case taken up against the UK Prime Ministerial elect hopeful - Boris Johnson, which accused him of Lying over the Brexit effect. The UK Law Courts quite effectively summed up "Politicians", and threw the case out, by essentially saying that Politicians and Lying go hand in hand. This is something that should be recognized World wide. One wonders whether Democracy is really a facade....

Donald Trump, is, I suspect, a good start at exposing this - which may be his original intent.. after all, his "Drain the Swamp" slogan hasn't been mentioned of late, but why ? Taking the system down from the inside, however, is no better done from that, of a Presidential position. I wonder, where this will go ?

Biden isn't a racist today and he wasn't in the 1970s.

You people are crazy trying to apply social standards 2+ generations later to something 40+ yrs ago. By that test, everyone was a racist in the 1970s regardless of their race or blood or marriage or appearance or location.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

So why do liberals not apply that same standard when you screech about Trump supposedly declining black tenants? Double.standard.much?

Because passive societal ignorance and blatant racial discrimination are hardly equal. But once again the right is trotting out false equivalencies.

What false equivalencies? Biden hung out with like minded segregationists who opposed busing black kids into white schools. His hood has been dropped and we can all see what kind of man he is. Just like Obama hung out with black nationalists and anti-Semites like Farrakhan and his mentor Jeremiah Wright. I haven’t seen evidence that Trump sat in a racist church for 17 years or had his picture taken with a racist Muslim leader. Dems are still pushing racial policies now just as they did during the days of slavery.

Biden hung out with despicable people, at a time when despicable people were part of society.

Trump was a despicable person, at a time when despicable people were part of society.

Being associated with despicable people in a time when that was to some extent required, in order to play the game, is not equivalent to being despicable at any time.

Kamala Harris to Biden: "I do not believe you are a racist..."

But she's thinking "but I'm gonna do my best to smear you as a racist."

She is despicable.
