"This Leonardo DiCaprio is a cool guy, right? Giving money to torch the Amazon?"

That's laughable and it sounds exactly like some kind of wacky conspiracy theory Trump would start.

Insane wankery and no basis in reality.

Much like Trump and his army of pathological liars, come to think of it.

Bolsonaro? Another wacky nutcase. O Trump brasileiro.

He probably saw it on Fox...

Bolsonaro appeared to be commenting on social media postings claiming that the environmental organization the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) had paid for images taken by volunteer firefighters that it then supposedly used to solicit donations, including a $500,000 contribution from DiCaprio.

Ahhh the WWF. These are the same guys that made it illegal for Vince McMahon and his WWE from using those initials ever again? The WWF, a bunch of trouble makers as far as I'm concerned.

Brazil's "Tropical Trump", wannabe fascist Bolsonaro, is truly a piece of work, a malignant cancer on the body politic of Brazil. The sooner he is removed from office the better for Brazil and the world.

Wow. You must really like wrestling. You read an article about global warming, the Amazon rainforest burning, Leonardo DiCaprio, and a corrupt South American government hand in hand with big business conspiring to destroy one of the world's most important wildlife habitats, and the thing you care about most is the World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. being forced to change its initials by the World Wildlife Fund.

Well, just on seniority, the World Wildlife Fund started in 1961. The World Wrestling Federation in 1979. I checked.

Which one is the most worthwhile organization? I dunno. I'll go for the World Wildlife Fund.

To be fair, Trump tends to just parrot or retweet conspiracy garbage he finds on the net.

This may be Bolsonaro’s own.

Just to be clear, the Wrestling WWF sued the environmental WWF trying to make it illegal for them to use those initials..... and lost, not the other way around.

They deserved that comeuppance.

Stupid fascict Bolsonaro..

Heavy accusations without any proof. This is a shame to Brazil.

Give him some time, and his government and the media friendly to it will offer exactly the sort of evidence that the American government and media has that Russia meddled/rigged the American election.

Not unless Brazil's intelligence agencies support it in front of Congress under oath

I won't be surprised if the Brazilian Intelligence agencies do indeed turn out to be willing to swear the claim is true, if the alternative is losing funding or careers.

Isn't going to be evidence, anymore than the American intelligence agencies swearing that Saddam had an active WMD program was.

The Bush admin cherrypicked to support their claims
