Doesn’t the uk have free speech and is not a puppet of Israel?

I really feel sorry for Corbyn, first he's accused of being anti-semitic, then when he attends a Jewish group event (which happens to be anti-Israel) he also gets slammed.... so nowadays it seems if you are not Pro-Israel then you are Anti-Semitic ?

That's the impression I'm getting from listening to interviews with outraged parties on the BBC. They go on about him being some kind of racist, anti-Semite monster and it turns out they're upset because he disagrees with the right-wing policies of Israel, and talks to other people who also disagree with those policies. Duh. He's the leader of the UK's left-wing party. I'd be disappointed in him if he wanted to cozy up to Netanyahu.

Disagreeing with Israeli policy does not make a person anti-Semite any more than thinking Abe Should Go makes a person anti-Japanese. Quite the opposite.

Yes, the UK has free speech.

There are nutters in the UK like knuckle-dragging racists, conspiracy theorists and swivel-eyed Islamists who might express the idea of the UK being a puppet of Israel.

Corbyn doesn’t strike me as an anti-Semite although there are clearly some in the Labour Party. That said, I’m not sure Jezza should be hanging around with groups like this at this moment in time. Doesn’t look great.

The 'Jewish' groups most fervent in their denunciations of the Jewish group that Corbyn celebrated Seder with are the ones furthest from following the central tenet of Judaism, do onto others as you would have done to you.

Supporting the violent, racist, oppressive Israeli regime is definitely not embracing that core belief, opposing it is.

Israel’s military authorities murdered 17 Palestinians for throwing stones recently-maybe, criticizing that is seen as anti-Israeli?

Why do we have anti-semitic laws, since surely any form of race/religion/hate/abuse is covered by another Law.... why should Jewish people be treated any differently from the rest of us ?
