The adults (Chinese) seem to have confirmed what the child (Donny) was claiming. We’ll see how long the child can keep himself from messing this deal up with his mouth/twitter feed.

The adults (Chinese) seem to have confirmed what the child (Donny) was claiming.

Which was?

The "child" has negotiated a much better deal for the U.S. than any of his predecessors. And this is just the beginning.

Looks like the Chinese dictators have accepted that Trump will be president for another term and given up the hope that he will be replaced by another swamp traitor, so it is better to come to terms with him.

This is not a logical inference from the article.

Thought China didn’t agree to the deal? That’s what libs we’re saying yesterday.

Thought China didn’t agree to the deal? That’s what libs we’re saying yesterday.

No, it wasn’t. Please stop making up things liberals said just so you have something to argue about.

Looks like the Chinese dictators have accepted that Trump will be president for another term

Looks more like Trump gave in to give himself something to campaign on. Everyone except the Fox News Network is saying that the Chinese got the better deal on this, and Trump didn't get anything to cover the losses incurred as a result to Americans. And while the Chinese have agreed to purchase more, it's only short-term - two years. So a temporary bump, just long enough for Trump to get elected (which to give him credit is a smart political move).

That’s what libs we’re saying yesterday.

No, "libs" weren't saying that yesterday.

So then congratulations to Trump on getting China to agree to this deal. Great news for America.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

Heh, the right once again shows they'll support Trump even when he fails.

0 ( +2 / -2 )

So then congratulations to Trump on getting China to agree to this deal. Great news for America.

Sure, if you think getting back to where we were before Donny started this easily winnable trade war is "[g]reat news for America.

Looks like Donny and Trumpophiles are celebrating a bit early:

*Chinese officials said the nine-chapter text, which includes intellectual property, technology transfer, financial services and dispute settlement, *has to undergo legal and translation review before it can be signed.

Chipstar:

This is not a logical inference from the article.

Oh yes, it is. If you were in charge in Peking and you were sure that an establishment politican who wants to return to the old system will replace Trump next year, you would be willing to hold out and endure another year of sanctions. Which is quite obvious to anyone outside of the CNN propaganda bubble.

0 ( +2 / -2 )

Oh yes, it is.

Not to anyone who is able to use logic.

It's clear from the fact that after two years of a trade war, no advances were made other than the commitment to increase spending just past the election, Trump caved to give himself something to campaign on..

There is literally not a single reputable news organization in the world reporting this as a win for Trump.

Fox is the only so-called media network to be doing so. But as I said, no reputable news organization is reporting it as such.

The adults (Chinese) seem to have confirmed what the child (Donny) was claiming.

China adults? Lol

We’ll see how long the child can keep himself from messing this deal up with his mouth/twitter feed.

Naw, the Chinese need the deal as much as we do and even the Chinese can see he’s going to easily win a second term, so it’s better to deal with this now and get it over with than wait, because if it extends into his second term both sides would greatly suffer politically and economically.

Chipstar:

It’s two words: Chip Star.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

China adults? Lol

When compared to Donny, any non-Trumpophile is an adult. ROFL.

The deal that hasn’t been signed by the Chinese? Yeah, it’s short-term, so . . .

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

Well, seeing that Fox is the only one among the "mainstream" propaganda media that allows at least a little bit of dissent from the constant orange man propaganda drivel, that simply means Trump is doing something right.

More logic failures due to inaccurate information. This is fun to watch.

When compared to Donny, any non-Trumpophile is an adult. ROFL.

An adult that’s the most powerful world leader.

The deal that hasn’t been signed by the Chinese? Yeah, it’s short-term, so

But it will, both sides need a deal and soon, so.....

Chip Star:

Err, no. Of course I would love to be corrected, so please tell us the mainstream media except Fox that are not 100% on anti-Trump propaganda train. Naturally, I can not watch them them all, but I do get a good overview on accumulation sites such as Trends and Drudge.

Waiting with baited breath for your long list.... not

So the deal isn’t done. Make up your mind.

Looks like Donny and Trumpophiles are celebrating a bit early:

Trump caved so bad he had had to call it, "Phase 1" to save face. Zero progress on the intellectual property and some fuzzy promise to buy more which isn't a concession, it's going to happy anyway as their middle class grows. The Chinese gave up nothing and got Trump to drop the tariffs.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

It’s all well and good that the trade tensions are easing but the truth is the Chinese will cheat tomorrow just as they cheated yesterday. The Chinese economic model is mercantilist and predatory and they do not believe in free trade that isn’t to their advantage. They will continue to export much more than they import from the US although they will necessarily import much, much more agricultural products due to the growing middle class and agricultural problems such as disease in the very important pork industry.

Overall this is a net positive for the US because it begins the process of getting the Chinese to publicly and in Chinese law concede to reforms that they have been resistant to do. Trade between the two countries will grow tremendously over the next few years even with the remaining Phase 2 still left to be negotiated.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

Trump caved so bad he had had to call it, "Phase 1" to save face.

And you can confirm this since you were there at the talks? My, my, even the almighty CNN didn’t mention that and they know eeeeeeverything.

Zero progress on the intellectual property

That’s “Phase 2”

and some fuzzy promise to buy more which isn't a concession,

That is indeed a concession.

it's going to happy anyway as their middle class grows. The Chinese gave up nothing and got Trump to drop the tariffs.

What are you talking about, they just did and no President before Trump even tried to take on China, not even the Sainted Obama. Ok, so that’s 3 wins this week. And the Dems so far they have nothing besides holding on to a sick crazy obsession with trying to impeach this President on the flimsiest of charges. Soon the Senate and soon Hunter....yay!

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

That’s “Phase 2”

The IP issue is priority #1 so telling me to wait for phase 2 while claiming victory is a hollow statement.

You gained nothing except things that were already going to happen. Hey, guess what, the Chinese will be buying more US cars in 5 years as demand grows there. Maybe Trump should offer to reduce tariffs if the Chinese promise to buy more cars from us over 5 years.

He's doing more than any President in history!

Look, by now you've realized Trump isn't going to deliver on much of anything. Your 2,000 mile wall turned into a couple of hundreds miles of easily crossable fencing and you guys act like Trump delivered. Same with this and NAFTA. You've pretty much bottomed out on expectations and praise anything you can get at this point.

Trump, next time don't threaten tariffs that kick in right before the holiday season. That was just dumb. He was desperate to get out of them. He delivered a nothingburger deal just as I predicted, and Trump fans will take their peanut and feast on it like everything else.

SuperLib - Trump caved so bad he had had to call it, "Phase 1" to save face. Not according to the article -

China has suspended additional tariffs on some U.S. goods that were meant to be implemented on Dec. 15, the State Council's customs tariff commission said on Sunday, after the world's two largest economies agreed a "phase one" trade deal on Friday.

The deal, rumors and leaks over which have gyrated world markets for months, reduces some U.S. tariffs in exchange for what U.S. officials said would be a big jump in Chinese purchases of American farm products and other goods.

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

The details of the agreement are secret. What does that tell you?

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Indeed! Made by communists for democracies.

Arrestpaul:. Not according to the article -

This has nothing to do with what I said. Stick to Clinton and 2nd attempt at POTUS script you have. It's the greatest thing you've ever done.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Not you, but the Chinese sure did. Signed, sealed and soon to be delivered

No:

*Chinese officials said the nine-chapter text, which includes intellectual property, technology transfer, financial services and dispute settlement, *has to undergo legal and translation review before it can be signed.

Pretty spot on, so don’t hold your breath, but the deal is going to happen and now after a year the Dems have accomplished.....oh, yeah.....nothing, but yeah, they tried and failed to impeaching the President.

Impeachment will happen. The GOP-controlled Senate, however, won’t convict be sued the GOP cares more about power than our country. If they cared about our country, Moscow Mitch and Leningrad Lindsey would at least hear the evidence.

Yes:

The unexpected drop in China's exports in November shows one reason why the nation wants to agree on a phase one trade deal — US tariffs are hurting China’s exports at a time when global demand is already weak

//economictimes.indiatimes.com/articleshow/72433847.cms?utm_source=contentofinterest&utm_medium=text&utm_campaign=cppst

Impeachment will happen.

I pray it does as well for the GOP sakes.

Either way, this helps Trumps and this will once and for all end the Democrat nightmare reign so let’s get this on over to the Senate.

Bass: You presented no evidence that counters my post regarding the deal not being signed by China.

Then there’s this:

*Nobel Prize-winning economist** Paul Krugman warned Sunday that President Donald Trump is handing China what it wants as the nations negotiate the beginning of the end of a trade war that cost the American public billions of dollars.*

You have No evidence that they “won’t.”

Krugman...lol...

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

You have No evidence that they “won’t.”

I wasn’t arguing that the Chinese won’t sign it. You claimed it was “signed, sealed, and soon to be delivered.” I demonstrated you were incorrect. You countered with an article explaining why China might sign the trade deal, but that siding refute me demonstrating you being incorrect.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

And yesterday you said you never said the deal wasn’t done. Yet here you are again claiming it doesn’t count because the deal isn’t done.

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

You claimed it was “signed, sealed, and soon to be delivered.”

Because it will be.

I demonstrated you were incorrect.

Impossible, both sides need a deal, both countries are suffering from this trade war.

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

Because it will be

You have no way of knowing this. That aside, had your writing been accurate, we wouldn’t be in this discussion.

Impossible, both sides need a deal, both countries are suffering from this trade war.

No, not impossible. You said it was signed. You were utterly incorrect.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

And yesterday you said you never said the deal wasn’t done. Yet here you are again claiming it doesn’t count because the deal isn’t done.

Because I never did say the deal wasn’t done. I am saying that now that I know it’s not done. You have as many issues with accuracy as Bass. Not a surprise.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Liberals claimed they were accurate on the impeachment, totally wrong and now they want to go for the China trade, another failed attempt.
