When you elect a documented scam artist it's not really shocking that an impeachment might happen.

6 ( +9 / -3 )

With his incompetence, impeachment was an inevitability. He does so many impeachable things, it was just a matter of trying to pin one down, since he's already on to the next impeachable offense after he finishes one.

4 ( +8 / -4 )

Donny has himself to thank for this; it has zero to do with a “Deep State” or the dems trying to get revenge for losing in 2016. Of course, that won’t stop the moron crew (credit to Stranger) from trying to do claim.

5 ( +7 / -2 )

Jerrold Nadler, said impeachment was the only way to hold the Republican president to account.

But given the support Trump has from his fellow Republicans, and the financial support they're getting from the globe's elite (so called), and from global right wing media, the global establishment backing Trump could have enough power to protect him. After all, laws are for peasants. Har har

3 ( +5 / -2 )

Impeachment should be by Congress, not by a political party.

The fact that the entire entire is being planned and orchestrated only by Democrats reveals its partisan and biased nature.

The Hillary Haters only have one of thought. "Pantsuit woman bad". They hate her, and every single action of theirs since 2017 has been a result of that single minded hatred. There is nothing else. They have no other motivations. They only hate Hillary, so they are trying to burn down the country.

5 ( +8 / -3 )

Impeachment should be by Congress, not by a political party.

They should do what they're doing, not what they're not!

Seems legit. Carry on.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

Impeachment should be by Congress, not by a political party.

Don't worry, Congress will impeach. There's nothing in the Constitution that says all political parties agree. Try not losing elections next time, yeah.

7 ( +7 / -0 )

Democrats slowly roasting themselves.

-6 ( +3 / -9 )

Drumpf is really going down this time! Haha

"President Trump abused his power, betrayed our national security, and corrupted our elections, all for personal gain," Nadler said

Does he have anything to back up these ridiculous accusations? I'll be waiting.

Democrats slowly roasting themselves.

They continue to dig themselves a deeper hole. Public opinion, especially among independents is turning against impeachment. They're doing everything they can to ensure Trump gets another 5 years.

-4 ( +3 / -7 )

Oh, and Nunes is going to enter bizarro world sometime in the near future. Even moreso.

6 ( +8 / -2 )

Don't worry, Congress will impeach.

Yippie!

There's nothing in the Constitution that says all political parties agree.

No, but since you have only Democrats partying in this farce and NOT having a single Republican and the speed that it’s going along with this making it exactly clear what the Dems motives are.

Try not losing elections next time, yeah.

Uhhh, about that....

In the meantime...

Nov. jobs report

266K new jobs

54K manufacturing jobs ( Obama: "These jobs just aren't coming back" )

3.5% unemployment ( lowest since 1960s )

3.1% wage growth

Yeah, let's impeach the MF! ( Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib's T-shirts ) and stop all this nonsense!

-4 ( +2 / -6 )

Does he have anything to back up these ridiculous accusations? I'll be waiting.

This question is not worth answering, but is worth reposting so we can all enjoy the willful ignorance it demonstrates.

"President Trump abused his power, betrayed our national security, and corrupted our elections, all for personal gain," Nadler said in a statement. "The Constitution details only one remedy for this misconduct: impeachment."

BINGO!

The probe has focused on a July 25 telephone call in which Trump asked Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy to open an investigation into Biden and his son Hunter, and into a discredited theory promoted by Trump and his allies that Ukraine, not Russia, meddled in the 2016 election.

You know, the phone call where he said "I'd like you to do us a favor though" and after discussing the Biden investigation, said "I'll have Rudy call you" - while telling Bill O'Reilly last month that "I never directed Rudy"....

"A president who perverts his role as chief diplomat to serve private rather than public ends has unquestionably engaged in 'high crimes and misdemeanors' - especially if he invited, rather than opposed, foreign interference in our politics," the Judiciary Committee Democrats said in their report on Saturday.

"Pervert" being the operative word - in more ways than one...

For once I agree with Nadler, Trump should definitely fight this.

You know, the phone call where he said "I'd like you to do us a favor though" and after discussing the Biden investigation, said "I'll have Rudy call you" - while telling Bill O'Reilly last month that "I never directed Rudy"....

“Us” pheeew...”us the US,” thought he said, “ME” personally...feel much better, so once again the Dems have nothing, but they want to continue this charade, good.

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

Trump went after the democrats so they came back to bit him in the arse. Now he will be impeached but the Senate will return a not guilty verdict.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Dems, when preparing the menu for impeachment, don't forget the "hors- d'oeuvres", the egregious obstruction of justice by Trump, Pence, Pompeo, Giuliani, Mulvaney, the "Walrus", Barr et al., and the "dessert", those sweet Trump-sized emoluments, without either of which the course of impeachment would be incomplete, lacking that "je ne sais quoi".

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Don't forget that Trump said his daughter created 14 million new American jobs. Quite an achievement, yes!

National Debt, $22 trillion and rising.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Trump went after the democrats so they came back to bit him in the arse. Now he will be impeached but the Senate will return a not guilty verdict.

Yup! They’re just as dumb as the GOP was in 1998 impeaching Clinton, that equally turned out disastrous for them.

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

President Trump abused his power, betrayed our national security, and corrupted our elections, all for personal gain," Nadler said

Does he have anything to back up these ridiculous accusations? I'll be waiting.

This question is not worth answering

Facepalm.

I'm still waiting. Facts, please. Not just your opinion.

Here's four facts that will never change:

We’ve got the transcript. There was no linkage of an investigation through security assistance money.

We’ve got the two guys on the call — President Trump and President Zelensky — who have both said there was no pressure, no pushing.

We have the fact that Ukraine didn’t know that the aid was held at the time of the call.

President Zelensky didn’t announce, didn’t start, didn’t promise he was going to start any investigation to get the aid released.

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

You know, the phone call where he said "I'd like you to do us a favor though" and after discussing the Biden investigation, said "I'll have Rudy call you" - while telling Bill O'Reilly last month that "I never directed Rudy"....

“Us” pheeew...”us the US,” thought he said, “ME” personally...feel much better, so once again the Dems have nothing, but they want to continue this charade, good.

Can anyone else translate that?

While you're answering questions after dodging them for 6 days....

Why doesn't Donnie turn over all the documents, records, and tapes from the State Dept that would show he was not involved in the shakedown Rudy was running?

Why doesn't he allow Pence, Pompeo, Perry, and Mulvaney to testify so they could prove he wasn't "in the loop" as Sondland testified?

Was Rudy operating under Trump's direction in Ukraine or was he freelancing? Is Rudy operating under Trump's direction now on his current trip to Ukraine?

2 ( +3 / -1 )

*Why doesn't Donnie turn over all the documents, records, and tapes **from the State Dept that would show he was not involved in the shakedown Rudy was running?*

Why can’t call the Republicans call on Schiff or Biden or even the whistleblower to come testify?

*Why doesn't he allow Pence, Pompeo, Perry, and Mulvaney** to testify so they could prove he wasn't "in the loop" as Sondland testified?*

Why Trump can’t Trump meet his accuser face to face? Why do the Democrats have closed hearings?

*Was Rudy operating under Trump's direction** in Ukraine or was he freelancing? Is Rudy operating under Trump's direction now on his current trip to Ukraine?*

What is the actual crime that the Dems want to throw at the President? Obstruction, quid pro quo, extortion, bribery? They’re all over the place and why are they moving so fast and not taking their time in order to get Bolton or Mulvaney? Why the rush to impeach?

He doesn't have to waste time in the Democrat-run circus.

Rudy's going to make a report soon. IG report's coming out soon too.

Oh my! I got my popcorn and Junior Mints ready!

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

we had a Democrat in office like a Sanders or a Warren which would put the country in a $32 TRILLION debt and most of that as income redistribution and robbing Paul to give to Peter, expanding entitlements,

You actually said the same with Obama but it never happened. But what has happened, Trump first president to see National Debt go over $20 trillion and if he's two term, will be the first to take it over the $30 trillion mark.

Why did Giuliani's law firm receive $500,000 from Ukraine and why did he visit last week?

0 ( +2 / -2 )

You actually said the same with Obama but it never happened.

No, I did not, not in that manner. As bad as Obama was, he was a progressive, but he wasn’t a full on Warren, Sanders socialist.

But what has happened, Trump first president to see National Debt go over $20 trillion and if he's two term, will be the first to take it over the $30 trillion mark.

I don’t know about you, but I do like to live in a sovereign nation with a wall and I do love a modern and updated military and by the way, if the Democrats make the same lame argument you are making regarding the economy, they will lose so badly, because Wall st. and the consumers see it differently and are happy, the Dems can’t beat that, there is no way they can beat Trump on this issue.

-1 ( +3 / -4 )

Bass:. I don’t know about you, but I do like to live in a sovereign nation with a wall and I do love a modern and updated military

So you're not against deficit spending, you just support it for things you like and don't support it for things you don't like. But you're not against the concept of deficit spending.

Another dodge...

**Why doesn't he allow Pence, Pompeo, Perry, and Mulvaney** to testify so they could prove he wasn't "in the loop" as Sondland testified?**

Why Trump can’t Trump meet his accuser face to face? Why do the Democrats have closed hearings?

Another more blatant dodge...

**Was Rudy operating under Trump's direction** in Ukraine or was he freelancing? Is Rudy operating under Trump's direction now on his current trip to Ukraine?**

What is the actual crime that the Dems want to throw at the President? Obstruction, quid pro quo, extortion, bribery? They’re all over the place and why are they moving so fast and not taking their time in order to get Bolton or Mulvaney? Why the rush to impeach?

And it's strike three....

Oh my! I got my popcorn and Junior Mints ready!

Come on guys - put down the junk food and answer the questions - stop running away from them.

Can't you defend your President?

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

we had a Democrat in office like a Sanders or a Warren which would put the country in a $32 TRILLION debt

The only president to ever create a $20 trillion debt is a Republican Trump. And he'll bring it to $30 million if he gets a second term - you know, that extreme number you just fantasized that Sanders or Warren would create. Your guy actually IS creating that debt.

0 ( +2 / -2 )

He may not get impeached in the end, but I'm sure enjoying watching the man-child sweat and have a near heart attack everyday.

I'm also glad everyone now knows why Nunes always look nervous, especially these past few weeks. Another one right in the thick of it. Just like Murder on the Orient Express - they're all in on it.

By the way, I'm on the cow's side.

1 ( +4 / -3 )

So you're not against deficit spending,

I never said.

you just support it for things you like and don't support it for things you don't like.

More like things we need out of necessity, I’m not against entitlements per say, but the giant expansion and cradle to grave entitlements I’m against.

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

He's been begging for this since he started lying and grifting right out of the gate. This should have happened 18 months ago.

0 ( +3 / -3 )

And it's strike three....

So you do admit the Dems are out on a limb when it comes to this BS farce. Why doesn’t Nadler heed his own words or Nancy? Why do they want to destroy their own party?

https://youtu.be/Rkcz9pSikmY

Come on guys - put down the junk food

Junk food? Spinach?? Ok.....

Can't you defend your President?

He doesn’t need it, the Democrats are in a sense helping his defense.

-4 ( +2 / -6 )

Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives met behind closed doors on Saturday to prepare for what could be the final week of their months-old impeachment inquiry that has imperiled Donald Trump's presidency.

Elected Democrats met behind closed doors to discuss the soon-to-be-released DOJ report outlining the corruption, and collusion, of Democrats, and Hillary-worshippers, regarding their three years of repeated attacks against the Trump administration for beating Hillary.

Elected Democrats also met behind closed doors to discuss the lack of support among the voters for the Democrats latest hobbies, impeachment, and replacing Trump with Pelosi.

Elected Democrats also discussed how to present their utter lack of actual evidence for impeachment in a way that would cause Republicans, and independents, to actually care about the Democrat's hatred, and whining.

-3 ( +3 / -6 )

And it's strike three....

So you do admit the Dems are out on a limb when it comes to this BS farce. Why doesn’t Nadler heed his own words or Nancy? Why do they want to destroy their own party?

They just can't answer them - which means they can't defend their President....

Can't you defend your President?

He doesn’t need it, the Democrats are in a sense helping his defense.

Three questions - all easy answers - six days and no answers...

They don't know if Rudy was being directed by Trump, and they can't explain why he won't allow release of documents or allow his closest associates to testify - all which could prove he is innocent...

So we're left to conclude it's because he isn't innocent and those documents and associates would prove his guilt.

Thanks Trumpers, your lack of answers help prove your President is complicit in all the charges against him...

1 ( +4 / -3 )

expat - He's been begging for this since he started lying and grifting right out of the gate. This should have happened 18 months ago.

LOL. It's the Democrats who have been begging for this ever since they finally realized that they had been lying to each other about Hillary's inevitable move into the Whitehouse. "Our feelings have been hurt, and someone must pay for that", is not a good election strategy. "Trump keeps counter-punching our personal attacks against him", isn't a good reason for impeachment. Elected Democrats will actually have to provide evidence of high crimes and misdemeanors. Producing three "scholars" who hate Trump didn't convince the public. That stunt actually backfired on elected Democrats.

-6 ( +1 / -7 )

He doesn’t need it, the Democrats are in a sense helping his defense.

Then why are you constantly screeching in his defense?

0 ( +2 / -2 )

"Our feelings have been hurt, and someone must pay for that", is not a good election strategy.

Agreed. Good thing not a single candidate is running on this platform. I’m not even sure where you got the idea any of them were.

"Trump keeps counter-punching our personal attacks against him", isn't a good reason for impeachment

Good thing that’s not for what the dems are impeaching or you’d have a point.

Wow. Handling those “arguments” was so mentally taxing, I think I need a nap.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

They just can't answer them - which means they can't defend their President....

Why, he does a very good job at defending himself against the entire Washington establishment.

They don't know if Rudy was being directed by Trump, and they can't explain why he won't allow release of documents or allow his closest associates to testify - all which could prove he is innocent...

No, because the crappy Democrats would still find someway to find him guilty on something, no one is stupid to think if Trump complied and did everything the Dems want they would then be receptive to this President and receive him with open arms, that would never happen. so why even entertain the thought?

*So we're left to conclude it's because he isn't innocent and those documents and associates would *prove his guilt.

Yaaaawn, he’s been guilty ever since he came down the Trump Tower escalator and announced his run for the Presidency.

Thanks Trumpers, your lack of answers help prove your President is complicit in all the charges against him...

Then by your...lol...logic, the Senate will convict and remove him. Good luck with that.

I remember the days when the right complained about piling on debt which would bankrupt the country and leave future generations on the hook.

Now it seems piling on debt is okay if money is spent on the ‘right’ things.

The only thing I’m confused about is what happened to bankrupting the country and leaving the younger generation on the hook. Is it like climate change where it’s a case of who cares I won’t be here anyway?

5 ( +5 / -0 )

Let’s have a little intellectual honesty:

Yes, Let’s! The Dems really have absolutely nothing and slowly their paying for it and I’m giddy about it. Serves them right, especially the Dems that won in key battleground States where Trump one. It’s going to be a fruitful Christmas for Trump. Let’s see if Dems can get their act together by 2024. It will give the party time of reflection and giving up their evil wicked ways.

-6 ( +0 / -6 )

The diplomats laid it out pretty well. Trump first, America second. What citizen would want a President who does that?

3 ( +5 / -2 )

SuperLib - The diplomats laid it out pretty well. Trump first, America second. What citizen would want a President who does that?

I especially like the part were they all said that they had no first hand knowledge of anything. They all admitted that their testimony was simply their opinions. Not an ounce of hard evidence between them.

-8 ( +0 / -8 )

If impeachment fails to oust Benedict Donald because of the refusal of the Republican Senate to do its sworn duty, then the Dems will soon have another opportunity from the grifter that keeps giving. After his demented antics at the Nato celebrations, serious thought should be given to committing Trump to an institution for a psychiatric evaluation and then invoking the 25th Amendment for a twofer (Trump AND Pence). President Pelosi sounds fine until November 2020 comes around.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

And don't forget that the current batch of Democrat candidates haven't really begun to carve each other into little pieces, yet. It's going to be a very amusing year.

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

u_s__reamer - After his demented antics at the Nato celebrations,

Which ones? All of the leaders who have repeatedly refused to pay their pledged commitments to support NATO? Nobody forced those countries to pledge 2 percent. They have no problem letting the U.S.A. pay for Europe's defense. Let's talk about Trump behind his back, because that's what these leaders are best at.

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky did say in a crucial July 2019 phone call that he and Donald Trump did not have a "quid pro quo" discussion about Ukraine providing dirt on one of Trump's political enemies in exchange for military aid. Since that is one of the principle allegations against Trump in an impeachment inquiry against him, Zelenksy's remarks would tend to exculpate the U.S. president.

Sister Pelosi & Shifty Schiff and the gang have nothing.

After hearing the charges, the Senate usually deliberates in private. The Constitution requires a two-thirds super majority to convict a person being impeached. The Senate enters judgment on its decision, whether that be to convict or acquit, and a copy of the judgment is filed with the Secretary of State.

In the event the President is removed from office and power. It means the Vice President too. Guess who is in line as the acting President of the United States in the line of succession? Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi.

Senate Republicans hold 53 seats, and removal requires two-thirds of senators voting, or 67 votes to convict if all 100 senators vote.

If all 45 Democrats and the two independents vote to convict, 20 Republicans would have to switch sides to vote against the president. Is that possible? Its never going to happen.

Then what do we have left to work with? To date the Democrats have not spent 40 million as earlier reported. But the real figure is the neighborhood of 32 million and some change. I knew as Republican what Trump was. Knew what he was going to do. He is what he is. But to say he has committed high treason. This word this treason or treasonous is being thrown around to lightly. Yes Trump does questionable things. Cross's the line. He is a habitual line stepper. When this is all over the President will remain in office and the Democrats are left with lack luster candidates. Biden is off the rails and looking to fist fight. That video of him though.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fbEJpr4A9mQ

I honestly think Hunter Biden didn't do anything wrong. He was given privilege as the Vice Presidents son at the time. I also find it very interesting that Barack Obama has not endorsed his former running mate and Vice President. Guess the two have not had cheese burger together in a while. Also Barack and Michelle Obama Just Paid $11.75 Million for a Martha's Vineyard Vacation Home. The Obama's after years of rumors about the former president and first lady scooping up a permanent residence on Martha's Vineyard, Barack and Michelle Obama finally closed on a lavish, 29-acre compound. Almost 12 big ones. Where did the money come from? No mortgage as well.

Trump will stay in office. The Senate wont let it happen. Impeachment. No way.
