Enough of this closed door crap. Sunlight is the best disinfectant.

Good - get her, McGahn, Don Jr, and everyone else that has knowledge of all the corrupt activities, scams, and crimes that Trump has pulled. But I agree - get it out in the open - don't let the Repubs try to obstruct and cover it up.

This is Nixon 2.0 - and will end up the same way - except Donnie won't be able to dodge jail...

despite a White House directive advising her not to provide

What is Trump hiding this time?

Why won't Trump release his tax info? Who all else - in the US and around the globe - is he protecting?

Trump is a corrupt politician who's surrounded himself with too many 'ethically challenged' people like Hicks etal.

Trump remains a corrupt businessman. (How much richer have White House 'staff' members Jared and Ivanka got since daddy was elected. How have they used their inside knowledge and connections to further enrich daddy's family. How much have Trump's resorts charged US taxpayers for his numerous golf games, on top of the dozens of millions US taxpayers have paid so he can play golf.)

What is Trump hiding this time?

More importantly, what are the Democrats hiding?

Why won't Trump release his tax info? Who all else - in the US and around the globe - is he protecting?

Why should he, no one cares, really, no one cares, they still voted for him, the only people that care are the people trying to get him out of office.

Trump is a corrupt politician who's surrounded himself with too many 'ethically challenged' people like Hicks etal.

When liberals call the President corrupt, it is the funniest thing as Democrats pretty much wrote the book on corruption and that list is long, very, very long.

Oh, please! Trump has been more transparent especially with the media than any other President, not to mention he loves being on camera, he just doesn’t like obnoxious idiots (understandably) to ask him dumb questions or when the media tries to pick a fight, he will snap back and rightfully so. Whatever wealth he had growing up doesn’t make a difference whether he got help or not, being rich, being spoiled is not a crime, it’s a good thing, you should help your kids. I love money and I do the same, perfectly ok. Why haters have to hate?

Well, when you look at the price tag of the Russian collusion delusion witch-hunt hoax and how that cost millions of wasted tax payer money and the misguided Dems are still fumbling the ball at trying to get something, anything on this President even to the point of embarrassing themselves by having a convicted, disbarred 80 year old man to testify about God knows what, it’s just hilariously unreal, a waste of everyone’s time and the President couldn’t ask more of a better gift for him at sliding into a second term: frustrated non-thinking Democrats. By the way, when will Democrats pass some legislation? It’s been 6 months and the only thing these people have done besides trying to nail this President is nothing.

the cost of the Mueller investigation is about $30 million compared with the cost of Trump's golf visits at more than $100 milliom.

@bassTrump has been more transparent especially with the media than any other President,

Only the hardest core Trump-fetishist could say that. ROFL - while SMH.

He whipped out from his suit jacket his 'secret' document re the putative agreement with Mexico, but wouldn't show what it contained - if anything beyond golf tee times. How about his 'private' discussions with Putin? How about his 'loans' from foreign financiers? His payments to Stormy - and others? His trademarks with China? His 'penthouses' in Moscow? His most current taxes? Etc etc etc.

Trump is the least transparent and most dishonest president in modern history. Probably ever. He's approaching 11,000 pinocchios. Over/under on number before his term's up?

Hicks is smart. That's one reason why she left the administration so early. And that's why she is testifying now: she can see where the chips are falling.

You just made my point for me, $30 million is no chump change in liberals think it’s nothing...

Not at all surprised...

Only the hardest core Trump-fetishist could say that. ROFL - while SMH.

Because is it’s so ridiculously funny.

He whipped out from his suit jacket his 'secret' document re the putative agreement with Mexico, but wouldn't show what it contained -

He doesn’t have to show it, for God’s sake, I wanted to see what was on Hillary’s servers, but alas....

How about his 'private' discussions with Putin? How about his 'loans' from foreign financiers? His payments to Stormy - and others?

I understand, I have the same questions about how the Democrats weaponized the IRS, the intelligence community and so much more...

His trademarks with China? His 'penthouses' in Moscow? His most current taxes? Etc etc etc.

Again, only the haters care. If you knew, it won’t keep you safer or put more money in your pocket.

Trump is the least transparent and most dishonest president in modern history. Probably ever. He's approaching 11,000 pinocchios. Over/under on number before his term's up?

Well, that’s a matter of opinion, I think the last administration and their efforts to hide, distort, deflect was one of the worst, but as far as the media is concerned, 98% of them are liberal, so no is surprised by what they think and God knows they need the clicks since their circulation was for many years in the toilet, so this helps them, we get it. Lol

@bas4 I wanted to see what was on Hillary’s servers, but alas....

If a crime was committed, why haven't Trump and his appointed sycophant Barr, who's heading the Department of Justice, done something.

His trademarks with China? His 'penthouses' in Moscow? His most current taxes? Etc etc etc.

@bass Again, only the haters care.

I think most Americans still believe that allowing foreign nations to 'meddle' in US politics, practicing nepotism, getting kickbacks, insider trading and other unethical and illegal activities don't belong in US politics.

Only those with Trump level ethics could possibly accept what Trump's doing.

Only those who want to undermine US systems, e.g. Trump and his staunchest US and 'foreign' backers, would find them acceptable. Or perhaps some attention whournds who know saying whack things gives them more attention.

Here's the latest on the topic from the Stable Genius himself:

In an interview with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos, the president admitted that he would accept information on a political opponent from a foreign government.

It’s not an interference, they have information - I think I’d take it,” President Trump said. “If I thought there was something wrong, I’d go maybe to the FBI - if I thought there was something wrong. But when somebody comes up with oppo research, right, they come up with oppo research, ‘oh let’s call the FBI’. The FBI doesn’t have enough agents to take care of it. When you go and talk, honestly, to congressman, they all do it, they always have, and that’s the way it is. It’s called oppo research.”

Stephanopoulos asked about Donald Trump Jr and the regrettable role he played in the Trump Tower meeting in June 2016. He asked if Trump’s son should have brought the Russians’ offer for “dirt” on Hillary Clinton to the FBI.

“Somebody comes up and says, ‘hey, I have information on your opponent’, do you call the FBI?” Trump responded.

“I’ll tell you what, I’ve seen a lot of things over my life. I don’t think in my whole life I’ve ever called the FBI. In my whole life. You don’t call the FBI. You throw somebody out of your office, you do whatever you do,” Trump continued. “Oh, give me a break – life doesn’t work that way.”

“The FBI director said that is what should happen,” Stephanopoulos replied. (During congressional testimony last month, FBI director Christopher Wray told lawmakers “the FBI would want to know about” any foreign election meddling).

“The FBI director is wrong, because frankly it doesn’t happen like that in life,” Trump said. “Now maybe it will start happening, maybe today you’d think differently.”

I expect Trump's devoted admirers will be agreeing enthusiastically

Nice of her to testify and turn over docs. Trump fans dont know if they should cheer her or smear her yet. They'll be told what position to take soon enough. thanks

The democrats never-ending snipe hunt continues.

They have to wait to hear if they smeared Trump, or supported him, before they can decide whether to smear her, or support her.

You know, the proper steps to take when prioritizing power over the people.

Hillary Clinton testified in public and on TV, yet the pathetic little Republicans refuse to testify or will show up only for a closed-door meeting.

Funny that.

You just made my point for me, $30 million is no chump change in liberals think it’s nothing...

The investigation recouped $45m. It made $15m. Trump is lining his own pockets.

Ex-Trump aide Hicks agrees to closed-door appearance before U.S. House panel-- headline

Translation: Hope's appearance will be livestreamed on CNN and MSDNC.

-4 ( +1 / -5 )

Hope served as Trump's fantasy squeeze, but now she'll be the Dems' best hope to squeeze the truth out of Trump's favorite Oval Office cheesecake with lotsa lowdown on the demented perv. She's unlikely to take a bullet for her former boss, so let's hope she sings like a canary and brings down Trump's wobbling " White House of Cards".

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Well, when you look at the price tag of the Russian collusion delusion witch-hunt hoax and how that cost millions of wasted tax payer money

And then you realize that Mueller covered his costs with seized assets, which makes this statement utterly incorrect.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

The democrats never-ending snipe hunt continues.

Hilarious that you complain about the Dems doing their job of oversight but call for more investigations of Hillary and anyone else you think disagrees with Donny.

What's good for your horse, Tex, is good for everyone's horse.

If a crime was committed, why haven't Trump and his appointed sycophant Barr, who's heading the Department of Justice, done something.

Maybe he’s not vindictive and knows re-opening old wounds is not the best thing, also, she’s done, she’ll never be President, so why bother?

I think most Americans still believe that allowing foreign nations to 'meddle' in US politics, practicing nepotism,

I think Democrats only care about Nepotism when things don’t go their way. They were perfectly silent on that when it involved the Kennedy Clan.

getting kickbacks, insider trading and other unethical and illegal activities don't belong in US politics.

Sorry, but both parties have their hands dirty with that. Welcome to the world of politics.

Only those with Trump level ethics could possibly accept what Trump's doing.

We feel the same about the Democrats.

Only those who want to undermine US systems, e.g. Trump and his staunchest US and 'foreign' backers, would find them acceptable. Or perhaps some attention whournds who know saying whack things gives them more attention.

Let’s see...the Democrats have been in power since January and they past how many bills? What happ....oh, they’re busy trying to drag up has been lawyers and continue to chase more rabbits down holes with the delusional witch hunt.

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

Hillary Clinton testified in public and on TV,

Yes, we all remember “what difference does it make.” The woman that covered up .Benghazi and got away with it, but vengeance, she never became President.... ROFL

Ohhh, That Karma......

yet the pathetic little Republicans refuse to testify or will show up only for a closed-door meeting.

Funny that.

And walk into a perjury trap because the Dems tried and failed to get this President out office and they’re still trying and the GOP has to walk into a perjury trap? Nice try.
