Who would benefit from such an IS/Sunni style suicide attack? They must surely know that if captured the Iranians have various ways of making people talk. Someone with 'purer' and 'higher' motivations? (WKW) Or crazy people?

Wow, that is NOT something we see in Iran, wonder if something is afoot...

Iran could blame drug gangs, perhaps members of one of its minority communities. In the past when there's been violence they've pointed to those groups. But most likely someone will blame Israel or one of the GCC states. The tensions in the region are increasing, and Trump seems to be trying to ramp them up.

Keep him away from Twitter!

And find alternatives to burning petroleum.

Seems you have no idea about history.

The CIA has admitted to using/tricking Iranian ultra-right religious groups to foment upheaval in the Iran before. Worked once, why not try it again. And why NOT blame Israel, they are Iran's biggest enemy.

That's a bold, blanket statement.

Madverts, GW - yeah, something is up - particularly coupled with the Qatar blockade. I just hope they calm down enough before doing anything monumentally stupid.

you would think with all the guns americans have someone would shoot trump. ok not politically correct i know but seriously what were americans thinking when they elected him. in my experience iranians are beautiful people and i am so glad they re-elected their president who i believe wants to find a way to foster peace with the west. sometimes i feel ashamed to be a westerner. i am so sad to hear of the attack in teheran and my heart goes out to their people.

ThePBot, "Hmmm, this happening just soon after this whole Qatar thing with Iran....."

So you think this was a message to "keep your hands off Qatar"?

If anything this should be a sign for Iran to go all in. With each country lost it makes one weaker and with each gained, stronger. Let the UAE lose out because of their stupidity and arrogance, not to mention accussing Qatar what they do themselves, but worse.
