180 people on a ferry with a capacity of 60, plus motorbikes and who knows what.

Crazy. If the captain is found alive he needs to be charged.

Wasn't this the second time a large ferry sunk in Lake Toba? The other time was maybe 15 years ago. I remember because I'd taken that ferry.

Ferry accidents are so frequent in INdonesia despite rules.  Just no enforcement of those rules.
