Well, better than having a President that retweets a message that says wearing a mask is "Anti-American"...
Our UK friends are way ahead of us...

I guess I'm getting at the arrogance of said tit heads, who promote the falsehood that their countries are world leaders. Both set terrible examples and some followers are easily swayed.
This pandemic has, in part, been spread by such arrogance, bluster, lies and a refusal to show qualities that actually make and define a true leader. Whatever party they happen to come from.

I don’t think the colonial history matters here. All I see are tit heads leading the UK and the US.

Is their a correlation between both the UK and the US (one a former imperial power, the other a current) having such incredibly high numbers and populist leaders who have shown zero empathy for victims of the pandemic?

Good they are compulsory on public transport, but not making them compulsory in shops is madness, especially as the government has cut the official social distancing advice from two to one metre.

Wait, wait, wait what happened with the negative effects of the masks ; like the false sense of security theory ? I wish they publish the theory and experiments if any involved in the decision making process.
