What is meant with post-pandemic? Better close this fairytale book and get used to reality.

It's when most of the world achieves herd immunity.

NZ and Australia aren't post-anything, they're just in a pre-pandemic stage until they reconnect with the rest of the world. They're Just delaying the inevitable, unless they stay isolated and become hermit kingdoms.

Not at all. When over 70% of the country get vaccinated, herd immunity, baby!

Virgin Australia just cancelled a whole 2 months of flights from Australia to New Zealand as there was literally zero demand for them. No covid transmissions or sickness here in Queensland for well over a year now and still many people scared to go outside. We always had a 1000 or so die of the flu each year and even that has stopped. Yet record numbers of people getting vaccinated for that as well.

Once everyone gets used to getting compulsory vaccinated every 6 months with a vaccine that covers all recent mutations, then we can start thinking of reconnecting...

Too early for all that!

Good news, when most people are vaccinated here... they can add Japan to the list too.
