Hahaha. The NRA playing the victim card.
Laguna
The NRA is a fouly corrupt organization which works only to soil others with their own corruption.
CrazyJoe
Great! Then during discovery SF can get the documentation proving the NRA laundered Russian money through Moscow Mitch. That’ll be a hoot.
I do consider the NRA a domestic terrorist group.
Toasted Heretic
The NRA has so much blood on its hands, I'm surprised it's taken this long to have them correctly identified as a terrorist organisation.
bass4funk
What?
Lol, half of the registered gun owners in this country about half of the country think the same about the Democrat party.
theFu
The NRA only wants the same free speech rights afforded to other groups and people. And the same right to perform their 100% legal business without any govt interference. Govts in the USA aren't allowed to do what SF is attempting to do. Individual companies can, but not any layer of govt.
plasticmonkey
Brilliant response. Didn't see that one coming.
Norman Goodman
If the NRA does not want to be labeled as a terrorist group, might I suggest releasing a list of all past members...particularly the dead ones and those in jail? It certainly does not take much to get labeled as terrorist these days...just a few members of your group do something crazy and BAM...your who org is terrorist....unless its your own government or an ally of course.
arrestpaul
Are you suggesting that the far left loons governing SF made their latest claim without knowing that they had any proof to back it up their claim? Even governments can be held responsible for egregious slander, and libel.
These lunatics would have been on safer legal ground if they had made it an ordinance.
pacificwest
It's more the de facto PR lobbying wing serving the gun industry.

Sorry NRA, but not one of the mass shooters was law-abiding. The NRA would have people believe that it's video games and violent movies and TV shows that are the cause. That is totally untrue and fake news. I'm no expert, but I sincerely doubt that video games or movies make people more prone to commit mass murder. Every single country in the world has their share of the population that is into video games and watching movies, but none has the level of mass shootings that the U.S. has.

People standing up to death cults are the lunatics?
So happy to live in Japan, where crazed gun lovers can't spread their illness.

Remember the song of "San Francisco" by Scott Mckenze? Yes that was a great song, now I know why San Francisco is great because they have really a lot of "Nice People"! Keep that spirit the city of S.F., the second amendment is not an excuse of guns banning! The NRA were political terrorists! Good people were San Franciscian!

...its sucker members to pay all that money so Wayne LaPierre can have his private jets and expensive Italian suits on the member's dime. What a bunch of cult suckers. Proof:
NRA agreed to pay $6.5 million for Wayne LaPierre mansion
(news source)
Come on NRATrump2A people!!! Send that money to Wayne. I heard he's shopping for a new private jet.
bass4funk
Ludicrous! Why would we do that? We should sue SF. If they want a fight, they can bring it on. I’m a proud member and I will never let any liberal take my rights away especially as a law abiding citizen, I follow the rules and and we won’t be quiet and we will fight this. We want to sit down and solve this together, but not the way the Democrats want, anything that touches the 2nd amendment, buy back or toiling with are rights will not only get a fight, but their political careers will be in serious jeopardy.

and tax-exempt status. They, the for-profit guns and ammo industries, and gun owners expect the non-gun owning public, i.e. the majority of Americans, to pick up the tabs for them whenever there's a shooting.

I wonder why so many people are against guns? Hasn’t human history proven that no government should be trusted?
nishikat
It's so funny people say this then come to a completely gun free country like Japan.
That's right sucker. Open up that checkbook and buy Wayne his new private jet. Or if you are in Japan you can go to the post office and get a US$ money order. I'm sure Wayne would be happy to get that money from Japan and FedEx delivers fast.
This already happened upon crossing through Japan immigration
Ah_so
It's not a terrorist organisation it's a death cult.
Terrorists have clear political goals. Death cults spread death.

I hope other US cities follow San Francisco's lead on this. Sincerely hope so.

Good on the NRA, just because someone or an organisation owns guns or supports their use and ownership doesn't make them a terrorist or a supporter of them.
The Democrats think they can say or do what ever they like then cry victim when someone stands up to them.
bass4funk
Hardly.
Then you must be outraged by this as well.

How about Union leaders?
https://www.nationalreview.com/corner/union-leaders-ceo-salaries-union-leaders-earn-more/
It will never go broke just like PP and the Unions won’t go broke even with all the expenditures. You can point to both sides or something like this.

Those who feel that they and every Tom, Dick and Harry must own a gun (game hunters aside) should get a mental exam of some sort. The NRA has blood on its hands and supporting this organization blindly is a real shame if not, 'mental'. IF you really believe owning a gun is an absolute must for the sake of personal protection then you should go through a respectable licensing system. This never-ending cycle of people 'losing it' or those who just shoot people, innocent people, for fun has to end. Supporting the NRA is not helping in ANY shape or form. Find a different hobby please.
Open Minded
The NRA is the biggest problem of USA, much much bigger than Trump (who will not last forever).
mike1492
Sounds like Winchester ghosts are on San Francisco board of supervisors.
arrestpaul
You could think about it three, or four, times, but your lack of participation doesn't seem to have had any effect on the organization.
Strangerland
Oh, I think they'd take his money if he'd give it to them. They're hurting for cash: https://www.businessinsider.com.au/documents-show-the-nra-is-facing-financial-problems-debt-2019-6?r=US&IR=T
Sneezy
I'm glad that the NRA has been designated as a terrorist organisation, because that's what it is. And NRA members are therefore, by definition, terrorists.
bass4funk
Which is stupid, the very people that labeled the organization that has helped so many lives would never go after the organization were they to be elected President, but I get it, they want the votes, so it’s off to pander to their constituents.
I’m a member and not a terrorist and pretty much everyone that is a member and we have all spectrums of race, creed, color and religion in our organization. Time to put the emotion to the side.
Chip Star
Hamas has saved so many lives. Hezzbollah has saved so many lives. Both of these organizations have extensive charity networks.
