Impeachment by the house is one thing, actually having it go to a trial in the Republican controlled senate is another thing.

Remember Clinton was "impeached" but it never went to trial if I recall correctly.

I think he will probably be able to avoid or defer any real charges while he remains as the president.  But I am so looking forward to the day he leaves in just over two years time when he gets arrested just before he boards the helicopter on the White House lawn.

11 ( +12 / -1 )

I wonder which investigation will get him first - this one or Mueller.

Either way, he's going down like an animal stuck in quick sand, getting more frantic as it sinks ever lower.

12 ( +13 / -1 )

He probably will never serve any jail time. He's super rich. They rarely go to jail.

But the idea that he's going to continue to be president any more than the next few months, or even weeks, is very doubtful.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

A few months from now, no doubt Trump will regard the illegal payments to his female conquests as the least of his problems.

10 ( +11 / -1 )

But the idea that he's going to continue to be president any more than the next few months, or even weeks, is very doubtful.

As much as I relish the idea of President Pence assuming command, this sounds like wishful thinking.

6 ( +6 / -0 )

Clinton survived it, Trump will survive it, if in the event Mueller comes up with a report that will say the President committed high crimes and misdemeanors which is highly unlikely, but he won’t go to jail, the Senate will never remove him, that’s the main key. He just has to anchor himself down like Clinton, get the best lawyers, whether the storm and hang in there because the Democrats as selfish as they are will squander their opportunity at helping the people and be primarily fixated on impeaching thr President.

-17 ( +3 / -20 )

Bill Clinton was impeached in 1998 by the Republicans for getting a ** in the Oval Office.

Trump and his entire campaign staff commit treason against the United States and we are agonizing over whether or not to impeach him?

Incredible.

12 ( +15 / -3 )

Clinton survived it, Trump will survive it

Clinton got caught lying about having an affair, and survived the impeachment on that.

Trump has done so much more than that, that he doesn't even bother lying about the affairs, he's got way worse stuff he's been lying about.

Clinton = Trump is an entirely false equivalency.

9 ( +11 / -2 )

Yeah, I feel like he'll see out the term but I think all Americans will have finally realised the sham he is by the end. He won't get another term unless there is something that can truly vindicate him...

6 ( +7 / -1 )

Under U.S. law, campaign contributions, defined as things of value given to a campaign to influence an election, must be disclosed. Such payments are also limited to $2,700 per person.

The White House did not immediately return a request for comment. Press secretary Sarah Sanders said on Friday that Cohen has lied repeatedly and that the filing was insignificant.

Only in the Trump White House is committing two felonies "insignificant"....

I guess that's true when you have collusion, obstruction and money laundering charges pending....

Special Counsel Robert Mueller said Manafort lied to investigators about his interactions with a Russian tied to Russian intelligence services. Mueller's office said the lying prompted prosecutors last week to retract a plea agreement with Manafort on two separate conspiracy charges.

Manafort is the definitive sleaze ball - ostrich suits and lying to the FBI twice - even after he was caught once.  And Trump obviously thinks he's a great guy - sleaze balls of a feather....

"Time for the Witch Hunt to END!" Trump said in a Twitter post on Saturday.

Then tell all your cohorts to stop lying under oath - that would be a start....

"There's a very real prospect that on the day Donald Trump leaves office the Justice Department may indict him, that he may be the first president in quite some time to face the real prospect of jail time," Representative Adam Schiff, the Democrat who will lead the House Intelligence Committee next year, told CBS' "Face the Nation."

He'll be doing the "perp walk" long before 2020....

7 ( +8 / -1 )

This is way beyond a Democrat vs Republican thing now.

8 ( +9 / -1 )

Americans will have finally realised the sham

The majority of Americans called the sham from the day Trump announced his candidacy.

However, included in the broad spectrum of the US population are those who for whatever reasons are convinced that Trumpistan partnered with Russia and Saudi Arabia (to take even greater control over the world's oil and gas for the benefit of the oil-igarchs and their money backers) is preferable to the USA's historic form of democracy, or what remains of it.

Most Americans are human, after all, and given there are 330+ million of us expect a large number to be ... different.

7 ( +8 / -1 )

He won't get another term unless there is something that can truly vindicate him...

Or if the Democratic Party anoints another hugely unpopular figure. Never underestimate their capacity for snatching defeat from the jaws of sure victory.

8 ( +8 / -0 )

So I’m supposed to believe Dems have Trump on impeachable offenses but never mind they aren’t “important”enough? If Mueller has anything worthwhile it would already be done.

Well, they would be impeachable offenses. Whether they are important enough to justify an impeachment is a different question

-10 ( +2 / -12 )

A few months, soon, mueller is coming. Same stuff we been hearing for 2 years.

What happens when the people elect him again in 2020?

-13 ( +2 / -15 )

Apologies PTownsend. My statement was a bit broad I know. You're not wrong... As evidenced by some of the comments following yours.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

a report that will say the President committed high crimes and misdemeanors which is highly unlikely, but he won’t go to jail,

Not long ago you were constantly "ROFL" at very suggestion that Trump might be trouble - now you don't sound quite so sure.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

*The majority of Americans called the sham from the day Trump announced his candidacy. *

In the coastal States that’s true.

*However, included in the broad spectrum of the US population are those who for whatever reasons are convinced that Trumpistan partnered with Russia and Saudi Arabia (to take even greater control over the world's oil and gas for the benefit of the oil-igarchs and their money backers) is preferable to the USA's historic form of democracy, or what remains of it.*

The ones that don’t understand the geopolitical complex politics of the US Saudi relationship, probably. Let’s be real, liberals hate Trump we get it, they suffer from severe TDS, but the reality is that No other President would dare to screw up any relationship we have with the Saudis, none of them, I sure as heck don’t want to go through those hours and hours of gas lines, the Saudis used oil as a weapon before and attacked us, another reason that killed Carter and since then No President ever would put the country through that again, the exception here is Trump just as he always does blurted it out directly that he won’t take any action as of now against the Saudis. The other alternative is the Saudis leave the US and work with the Russians and Chinese and then we are really screwed on many levels and whether it’s Trump or any other President, Democrat or Republican is not going to throw the Saudis under the bus over a man who sadly made the idiotic decision to venture back to his embassy KNOWING that his government wanted him silenced permanently, but his fiancée was pushing him for him to get divorced so that they could get married. She was waiting in the car for him on that day he went in on his impending doom as tragic as this all is.

-10 ( +2 / -12 )

It won't pass the senate. Simple as that. This is just a bunch of hot air and those proposing impeachment know it.

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

Running from a jail cell?  "And tonight, coming to you live from Leavenworth, a Donald Trump rally....with campaign speech's by Michael "I'm Locked Up" Flynn and Paul "I'm in here for life" Manafort. Special speech by inmate #87699 Don Jr...

Yep Clinton did it WHILE President and IN the White House. Much worse. Abuse of power and misuse of office.

Actually happened not just allegations from people who got paid or who are convicted criminals and/or liars.

Two creepy porn adulterers and they should be treated the same....start the hearings.....

I heard of victim blaming but this is a new high - "Mr Kashoggi, it's all your fault you were attacked, strangled, cut up, and your body dissolved in acid and poured down a drain..."

4 ( +6 / -2 )

The **majority** of Americans called the sham from the day Trump announced his candidacy.

@bas4 In the coastal States that’s true.

Yet another example of Trumpistanian identity politics: those who don't support Trump are not Americans. Another example was the poster who joked about North Korea nuking California.

Trump's divide and conquer approach, a tactic used by despots throughout history, is doing just that: further dividing American people.

The 'coastal people' should be lauded for having better economies than their fellow Americans living between the coasts. Those living in coastal states with stronger economies are subsidizing their 'non-coastal' fellow Americans.

How much welfare have soy bean farmers in the midwest been given under Trump and the GOP?

7 ( +8 / -1 )

Trump may be the first U.S. president to go from the White house to the big house.

6 ( +8 / -2 )

Running from a jail cell?  "And tonight, coming to you live from Leavenworth, a Donald Trump rally....with campaign speech's by Michael "I'm Locked Up" Flynn and Paul "I'm in here for life" Manafort. Special speech by inmate #87699 Don Jr...

It does make for a great SNL skit for sure. Lol

Two creepy porn adulterers and they should be treated the same....start the hearings.....

Yes, Let’s get it started and get it behind us.

I heard of victim blaming but this is a new high - "Mr Kashoggi, it's all your fault you were attacked, strangled, cut up, and your body dissolved in acid and poured down a drain..."

I’m sorry, but if I knew my government is out to kill me, there’s no way I would give them the chance to do that and I certainly wouldn’t go to them on my own him, especially of knowing what they could do and would do to me. I just wouldn’t be that naive enough and no one can convince me otherwise to do what he did, fiancé or not.

-12 ( +1 / -13 )

Yet another example of Trumpistanian identity politics: those who don't support Trump are notAmericans. Another example was the poster who joked about North Korea nuking California.

Identitiy politics? That’s the Democrats crying shtick. I Don’t care about Pelosi’s safety? I do.

Trump's divide and conquer approach, a tactic used by despots throughout history, is doing just that: further dividing American people.

But when the Democrats do it it’s an necessity and it should be accepted.

The 'coastal people' should be lauded for having better economies than their fellow Americans living between the coasts.

But crappy politics that are actually sinking these States because only a certain few contain and maintain the wealth, the rest of the state is falling into the abyss.

Those living in coastal States with stronger economies are subsidizing their 'non-coastal' fellow Americans.

Where more and more people are running to, to able to have a better life, lower taxes and living away from the growing crime that is severely affecting the coastal States.

How much welfare have soy bean farmers in the midwest been given under Trump and the GOP?

How much welfare will the coastal States continue to give to the homeless and illegals and further burdening the tax payer who is already swamped in high taxes and bombarded by identity politics?

Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) said that President Donald Trump’s team should be concerned about the indictment against Michael Cohen because the language used in it suggests that federal prosecutors have further corroborating evidence.

Prosecutors in New York on Friday indicated that Trump breached campaign finance laws by instructing Cohen, his former-attorney, to illegally pay off two women who claimed they had affairs with him, threatening his 2016 campaign.

On Sunday, Christie told ABC’s This Week hosted by George Stephanopoulos, that the language prosecutors used in the sentencing memo sounded “very definitive” which would mean they likely have more “than just one witness.”

To all the Trumpers that say its Trump's word against Cohen's, time for a new denial strategy....

@lincolnman

I heard of victim blaming but this is a new high - "Mr Kashoggi, it's all your fault you were attacked, strangled, cut up, and your body dissolved in acid and poured down a drain..."

Sorry lincolnman, but I must correct you on this one.

The comment made by the Trumpster-in-Chief marks a new LOW in victim blaming and, IMHO, is the most despicable comment made about the tragic, and brutal, murder of Mr. Kashoggi by anyone who has written about this matter, anywhere!!

5 ( +6 / -1 )

What happens when the people elect him again in 2020?

The PEOPLE didn't elect the Orange Idiot in 2016, Hilary Clinton easily won the PEOPLE'S VOTE.

The Russian ambassador. A deputy prime minister. A pop star, a weightlifter, a lawyer, a Soviet army veteran with alleged intelligence ties.

Again and again and again, over the course of Donald Trump’s 18-month campaign for the presidency, Russian citizens made contact with his closest family and friends, as well as figures on the periphery of his orbit.

Some offered to help his campaign and his real estate business. Some offered dirt on his Democratic opponent. Repeatedly, Russian nationals suggested Trump should hold a peacemaking sit-down with Vladimir Putin — and offered to broker such a summit.

In all, Russians interacted with at least 14 Trump associates during the campaign and presidential transition, public records and interviews show.

http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/russians-interacted-with-at-least-14-trump-associates-during-the-campaign-and-transition/ar-BBQIhJk?ocid=ientp

This is not only collusion, but also treason....

Point taken - agree.

The writing is on the wall, but Trump can't read! The snake-oil salesman from Queens has lived his entire life safely ensconced in a cozy cocoon of inherited wealth and willful ignorance, but having made the worst business deal in his life ( taking a short-term lease on the White House), he will, if there is any justice in Amerika, be soon rudely ejected into the real world of a courtroom where ignorance of the law is supposedly no excuse. POTUS-worshipping Amerikans will no doubt try every trick in the book to get their orange felon freed, but until then I'll continue to enjoy my make-believe vision of Trump shuffling and waddling on his perp walk to penitentiary-a-lago.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

I highly doubt he will be fully impeached. He will have a very tough time getting re-elected though being the incredibly loathsome liability that he is to republicans. He certainly has been draining the swamp that moved in with him, and he'll be going with it someday surely.

3 ( +5 / -2 )

It's always fun to see the DOJ accuse the President of a felony, but at the end of the day I think this will be the least of Trump's worries.

What happens when the people elect him again in 2020?

Why do your sort keep saying "the people" elected Donald Trump when he lost the popular vote and won because of an archaic, broken, unrepresentative electoral college system? Is it so hard to accept that people who think like you are in a MINORITY and that you do NOT speak for most Americans?

6 ( +9 / -3 )

Trump cultists can't get their heads around that concept. Well, in a proper, representative democracy they would be the losers, and who cares what losers think.

6 ( +8 / -2 )

Is it so hard to accept that people who think like you are in a MINORITY and that you do NOT speak for most Americans?

I'm a liberal who's been voting team D across the board since 1988, and I can admit Trump is the rightfully elected POTUS, however depressing that sentence seems. Most of us don't like the electoral college but we accept the results regardless, at least until we can change how things work. Did he win the popular vote, no, but let's stop pretending he's illegitimate or that the Russians tilted the balance his way.

My party lost to a complete and utter moron. We need to take ownership of that and move forward, coming up with a compelling alternative vision for how to repair the damage his administration is actively doing, and hopefully put him out with the garbage come January 2021. Dwelling on elections settled more than 2 years ago or quibbling about this/that vote does none of that.

7 ( +9 / -2 )

YubaruToday 06:41 am JST

Impeachment by the house is one thing, actually having it go to a trial in the Republican controlled senate is another thing.

The idea of anything really important being decided in a chamber with two Senators from each State regardless of population sizes is inherently absurd.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

The odds at the bookies on Trump being impeached are shortening.

The odds on him winning a second term are lengthening.

Confident Trump supporrters should get their money down now.

The odds on Russia naming an airport after Trump ( a true bet ) are unchanged at the moment. Keep an eye on those odds.

I'm not disputing the fact that Trump won by the rules and I certainly wouldn't describe him as an illegitimate president. Changing how things work definitely sounds like a good idea, though.

My party lost to a complete and utter moron. All very true, but no one should say "the people" elected Donald Trump.

3 ( +5 / -2 )

U.S. President Donald Trump could face impeachment and jail time if hush money payments reported by his former lawyer are proven to be campaign finance violations, Democratic lawmakers said on Sunday.

"could, if, proven". Lol. Isn't this the same claim that Democrats, and Hillary worshippers, have been chanting since Trump declared that he was running for President? Isn't this the same claim that  Democrats have been chanting since Hillary's failed 2nd-attempt to be President?

-4 ( +2 / -6 )

It's always fun to see the DOJ accuse the President of a felony,

What?

but at the end of the day I think this will be the least of Trump's worries.

Oh, I agree with that. Lol

All very true, but no one should say "the people" elected Donald Trump.

And the haters shouldn’t say, the majority of the people either, there are thousands of Americans that weren’t polled or intentionally overlooked constantly. We really don’t know, there are thousands of people that don’t vote, don’t want to, think the system is rigged (which to a large extent it is in certain areas) so I will say many or majority, I will say definitely half and now the Dems have the House and the GOP have the Senate, both sides are strong and both sides need to come together if they want to get things done, otherwise neither will. That’s the reality.

-8 ( +2 / -10 )

So you are willing to compromise?

And the haters shouldn’t say, the majority of the people either, there are thousands of Americans that weren’t polled or intentionally overlooked constantly. You can say many but you can’t say majority. Clinton got more votes. Fact. Hatred has nothing to do with the numbers,

Even Trump has gone quiet on his pulled-out-of-his-rump claim that millions of illegals voted.

Using ‘the people’ to describe a minority is perplexing.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

You can say many but you can’t say majority. Clinton got more votes. Fact.

In the Coastal areas that’s true, never disputed that, but California as much as I love my now misguided and rapidly growing impoverished State doesn’t decide what is good for America or NY for that matter.

Hatred has nothing to do with the numbers,

...or the EC.

Even Trump has gone quiet on his pulled-out-of-his-rump claim that millions of illegals voted.

The election is over, he has no need to talk about it.

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

If Mueller has anything worthwhile it would already be done.

No, that is not a logical conclusion. It's actually entirely illogical. You're saying 'even though the investigation isn't finished, if Mueller had anything it would already be finished'. On the contrary, if Mueller didn't have anything, the investigation would be already finished, as there would be nothing to investigate.

It's weird how you people can regularly put up these failures in logic, and yet still be so sure of yourselves.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

Trump is not going anywhere; he isnt Nixon. This all allegedly happened before the election, and as a sitting POTUS, he isnt getting charged for any of it. All of this noise goes back to how the liberal media and dems got it all wrong and got spanked at the election, nothing more, nothing less. They have conspired to have him gone since day 1. They have never reported or allowed anything good that the man has done, and will stop at nothing to destroy him until his term is finished. There are many things I dont like about Trumps character, but what I do like, I like allot. I will never vote or support a Democrat or any other do nothing know nothing disconnected from reality bureaucrat again.

I see so many of you hating on Trump, but you live in a country where a few grams of weed get you 5 years of hard labor and human rights are a joke. interesting how many liberal types praise Japan, Singapore etc, while bashing a man who only wants the same thing for his country, to make it great again.

-5 ( +2 / -7 )

Per CNN:

Trump pushed Ayers to commit to two years, but he declined. He has young children, he told the President, and wants to move back to his home state of Georgia. He offered to become chief of staff temporarily, but Trump was firm on a two-year commitment, and talks fell apart.

Ha ha! Talk about a "the dog ate my homework" story. Trump cannot find any talented person to fill Kelly's Chief of Staff position. It's not difficult to read the tea leaves here. Maybe Trump can hire the broom pusher at his local McDonalds.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

Bass:. In the Coastal areas that’s true

You mean it's true in the population centers.

The GOP has trained the bubble dwellers to think the populated areas of America aren't as legitimate as the rural areas.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

Trump is not going anywhere; he isnt Nixon.

He's worse...

This all allegedly happened before the election, and as a sitting POTUS, he isnt getting charged for any of it.

Happened before the election = conspiracy, as in two felonies..

All of this noise goes back to how the liberal media and dems got it all wrong and got spanked at the election, nothing more, nothing less.

More two dimensional thinking....

They have conspired to have him gone since day 1.

Conspired, that's a familiar phrase...

They have never reported or allowed anything good that the man has done, and will stop at nothing to destroy him until his term is finished.

You mean all the members of "the best" who have now turned on him once they were caught lying under oath?

There are many things I dont like about Trumps character, but what I do like, I like allot.

Which do you like; just grab 'em by the ___?  Stormy?  McDougal?  They're rapists?  Some are good people?

I will never vote or support a Democrat or any other do nothing know nothing disconnected from reality bureaucrat again.

Good...

I see so many of you hating on Trump, but you live in a country where a few grams of weed get you 5 years of hard labor and human rights are a joke.

Time for a civics class - marijuana is controlled by the states...

interesting how many liberal types praise Japan, Singapore etc, while bashing a man who only wants the same thing for his country, to make it great again.

You mean make it like Russia....if you think that's great, we know what card is in your wallet....

4 ( +5 / -1 )

If people who voted Clinton used it, it would carry more weight than your use of it as you a describing a minority of Americans.

I see. Well, that is your opinion and I vehemently disagree with you.

I see. The expression ‘the people’ is more suited to describing a minority than to describing a majority.

Gotcha.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

You mean it's true in the population centers.

As well in the rural areas liberals seem to conveniently pass by.

The GOP has trained the bubble dwellers to think the populated areas of America aren't as legitimate as the rural areas.

And the Democrats have done the exact opposite.

He's worse...

Don’t remember, I was a tiny boy.

You mean all the members of "the best" who have now turned on him once they were caught lying under oath?

and subsequently had the screws tightening on their thumbs by a corrupt cop that’s making these people compose?

Which do you like; just grab 'em by the ___? Stormy? McDougal? They're rapists? Some are good people?

His attacks on Acosta, Warren, love the Schumer ones....honestly, there are too many to tell, but his attacks on the Washington establishment is something I do greatly admire.

-6 ( +1 / -7 )

I see. The expression ‘the people’ is more suited to describing a minority than to describing a majority.

I was just about to say the exact same thing. Well, liberals are finally getting it.

He just has to anchor himself down like Clinton, get the best lawyers,

its just been nonstop lets "get this guy" coverage by CNN since day one. The corporate tax cuts, trade deals, stock market rally, North Korea progress, holding the Japanese and Chinese accountable for unfair trade practices and other important things that really matter to the US people never get mentioned. I respect the guys resiliency in this storm. Most career government bureaucrat types are worthless, and wouldnt last a year in the private sector. if criminals go unpunished, it only emboldens them and encourages others to commit similar criminal acts.

4 ( +4 / -0 )

@Shawn Good post. This will soon be confirmed as the thumbs-downs pile up on your 02:50pm comment here. I gave it a thumbs-up :D

-5 ( +2 / -7 )

a porn star pay off and a business meet with russians doesnt qualify for anything. They are going to keep digging and reaching until they find "something" which will amount to nothing

speaking of offenses, I think every career bureaucrat (many in Japan) should have an audit done

on all of their "hardship" allowances and free time at tax payers expense. Every trade rep or other US person representing the government be held accountable as well. I think they will find that most of these people are doing absolutely nothing while getting paid for it by the national treasury (aka the US taxpayer). I dont care what kind of shade Trump did, if he is getting something done now, that is most important to me

For me, these are "high crimes and misdemeanors" but maybe Im too old school in thought

-3 ( +4 / -7 )

Trump's going to be impeached, and his son-in-law very likely to go to prison in the near future, among others, and the Trumpers are PANICKING. It's quite amusing to watch. They know it now, and it's finally starting to sink in.

That's the big problem with the use of "special prosecutors"- they hunt for crimes AFTER being appointed, without knowing what they will find (if anything). They target people and then try to find something to pin on them.

The standard in the justice system is that the police investigate a crime that already occurred. Then, during their investigation, they find suspects. The SP is the reverse of this. This puts a lot of pressure on guys like Mueller to justify his two year investigation and the millions of dollars spent. Also explains why his investigation is going far afield from the original purpose of discovering collusion.

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

Trump supporters are demonstrating their lack of logical reasoning and critical thinking skills as well as integrity with every word.

They are also demonstrating that they don't even slightly care about the rule of law with statements such as, "the senate will never convict Trump, so all is good." How patriotic.

The idea of anything really important being decided in a chamber with two Senators from each State regardless of population sizes is inherently absurd.

Simon, I agree - but sadly, this does not end at the senate itself. Remember that Electoral College votes are apportioned by adding the number of senators and representatives. Thus, Wyoming has three votes for its 600,000 residents - about one per 200,000 people - while California has 55 - about one per 700,000 residents. That is, one vote for president in Wyoming is worth about 3.5 times that in California. Multiply that be the the diminutive rural states (red) divided by the populous coastal states (mostly blue), and you end up with Trump.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Well there are a lot of Democrats

Default answer.

The noose is tightening for Trump I feel

I support some of his foreign policies and trade policies but, on balance, I think he has become too divisive on the domestic front.

I know one thing. They should make it illegal for the next President to go anywhere near Twitter.

International diplomacy conducted in soundbites of, what is it, 280 characters now? is no way to conduct yourself as a national leader other than generic announcements.

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

There is little doubt that he should be charged and tried as a co-conspirator in the campaign finance affair. If Cohen is a felon over this matter, then so is Trump. However, the Trump-controlled Attorney General might not want to press charges, meaning that Trump can look forward to being charged once he leaves the White House. I can't help but wonder if he will flee to Russia or Saudi Arabia in order to avoid prosecution.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

I support some of his foreign policies

Which ones? Does it bother you that he doesn't have a coherent foreign policy?

Rewind to 2008 and replace CNN with Faux News...

Calling the President out on policies and trying to get a President out of office because liberals feel cheated are two entirely different things.

The 1% are very happy...

As well as the people of companies working for them.

Have gotten worse...

Not with Mexico, Canada and Poland

Woops, haven't been looking at the market lately have we...

It’s what it’s supposed to do, with the exception of China and US disagreeing and working on intellectual property theft and tariffs, to even get them to contemplate the idea in itself is just astounding.

They're building new missile bases...

And we’ll up the sanctions to an even more crippling status. Kim just doesn’t know...

Creating chaos just as Putin ordered...

Here we go...lol.

Stormy?

What happened to her lawyer again?

Trump's going to be impeached,

There is always that possibility.

and his son-in-law very likely to go to prison in the near future,

Good thing for the pardoning powers of the President.

among others, and the Trumpers are PANICKING. It's quite amusing to watch. They know it now, and it's finally starting to sink in.

If anyone is in a panic, it’s Mueller. The clock is running out on this and since none of his witnesses are reliable and more of a liability, he once again is trying to put the nine tail leather whip to Cohen to come up with anything, Cohen says he gave them everything and Mueller thinks it’s not enough, so either come up with something, anything or he goes down.

Top Democrats say Trump may face impeachment, jail over hush money - Headline

Pretty sanctimonious remark from the party of the 2016 loser which make for interesting but predictable comments and pie-in-the-sky wishes.

Omitted from this article and not to be forgotten - and possibly resurrected for far more sanctions than a $375,000 fine, is Obama's $1.8 million campaign finance violation, not prosecuted by the ultra-biased Justice Dept. What a sham, this deep state. For shame!

President Trump needs a second term just to scrub the detritus off Federal bathroom tiles.

Narcissus J. Trumpnocchio, who almost singlehandedly has turned the United States of America into the United States of Absurdistan, has got to go. We the People of the United States of American deserve better than this dangerous embarrassment and purveyor of fake news, disinformation and misinformation.

Good thing for the pardoning powers of the President.

This means, "I don't care about the rule of law when it comes to white conservatives."

If anyone is in a panic, it’s Mueller. The clock is running out on this and since none of his witnesses are reliable and more of a liability,

Yet more wallowing in ignorance by conservatives. They have no idea how evidence (testimony) is determined to be credible, so keep repeating this nonsense. ROFL!

Quick! Trot out a conspiracy theory to deflect from Trump's train wreck!

Bass: so either come up with something, anything or he goes down.

This is an unsupported accusation promoted exclusively by Trump, his fans, and the right-wing media. It's useless information to us.

This means, "I don't care about the rule of law when it comes to white conservatives."

But liberals not caring about the law when it comes to White liberals is ok?

Yet more wallowing in ignorance by conservatives. They have no idea how evidence (testimony) is determined to be credible, so keep repeating this nonsense. ROFL!

I think liberals don’t know otherwise they wouldn’t get too, too overconfident....but this is thr typical liberal mindset.

The opposite holds true for us as well.

The definition of denial - ignore Mueller...that's a real brilliant strategy...

Omitted from this article and not to be forgotten - and possibly resurrected for far more sanctions than a $375,000 fine, is Obama's $1.8 million campaign finance violation, not prosecuted by the ultra-biased Justice Dept. What a sham, this deep state.

Yes, and then there's all those Obama officials that were indicted...and half his cabinet were colluding with Russians and extraterrestrials...and did you know his uncle was involved with Kennedy's assassination (working with Cruz's father...)? Thank goodness we have John Kennedy Jr blogging from a basement in DC telling us all about the deep state - Q forever...

For shame!

Trumpsters have no conception of shame - it's a word foreign to their being....

President Trump needs a second term just to scrub the detritus off Federal bathroom tiles.

Which he'll be doing at the federal penitentiary at Leavenworth...don't drop the soap Donnie....

Yet it’s Monday morning yet again and trump is still president.

0 ( +4 / -4 )

Trump can dust off his campaign promises from 2016 and reuse them for 2020. He will build a wall, replace the Paris Accords, create a Middle East peace plan, create bilateral trade agreements, replace Obamacare etc.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

Works for me. When he gets re-elected it’s proof that people still want those things.

1 ( +5 / -4 )

You aren't worried that you picked the wrong man for the job? Maybe another Republican would be better for you guys. Better chance of fulfilling promises, no prison terms.

3 ( +5 / -2 )

Nope Dems will obstruct and investigate anyone and everyone. So might as well keep Trump until 2024.

Love how the narrative is that Trump is obviously guilty but Dems worry about 1/3rd of the people will feel it’s a “coup” if they just remove him. Funny, I didn’t know that 44-46% approval rate is 1/3rd. Isn’t it much closer to 1/2? But that ruins the story.

-1 ( +4 / -5 )

Yet it’s Monday morning yet again and trump is still president.

And also an un-indicted co-conspirator...

Wonder what next Monday will bring?

0 ( +2 / -2 )

haha, nothing will happen and rightfully so, at least he wasnt one sexually harassing his interns like some democrats

-4 ( +3 / -7 )

that has no meaning. If someone conspires in a crime, you indict them don’t you? Well unless you have no proof then you can’t.

un-indicted co-conspirator

-1 ( +4 / -5 )

Haven’t you figured out the guy isn’t leaving unless you indict and impeach him? Supposedly even then he is going to call out the army and refuse to leave, says CNN.

senate won’t impeach him, can’t indict the president, statute of limitations over by 2024. Still can’t see what a waste of time all this is?

-3 ( +4 / -7 )

"Maybe another Republican would be better for you guys. Better chance of fulfilling promises, no prison terms."

Oh my... ( not Fox news ):

https://www.chicagotribune.com/news/opinion/commentary/ct-perspec-honesty-trump-keeps-campaign-promises-presidential-truthfulness-1017-story.html

Oh, and Trump is not going to prison, though Clinton is.

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

"senate won’t impeach him, can’t indict the president, statute of limitations over by 2024. Still can’t see what a waste of time all this is?"

Nah, the Trump haters are blinded with their hate for the man. I'm afraid some of them will go completely insane when he's re-elected in a landslide.

-4 ( +2 / -6 )

Still can’t see what a waste of time all this is?

Nope. It's proving very productive & revealing. Catching lots of witches and watching rich, globalist crooks squirm as the relentless law catches up with them is providing great entertainment.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

It would be pretty funny if Trump's next campaign managers also went to jail.

This... speculation about a landslide victory is based on what evidence, precisely? It sounds more like a joke from a Star Trek Mirror Universe episode. Anyway, anyone who actually expects that to happen is clearly blinded by something else.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Alex EinzToday  10:45 pm JST

haha, nothing will happen and rightfully so, at least he wasnt one sexually harassing his interns like some democrats

What a great line of defence. Someone should have told Nixon to try that one, he clearly need never have resigned.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

Trump's impeachment and ouster must take place ASAP for the sake of America and the world.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

" speculation about a landslide victory is based on what evidence, precisely? It sounds more like a joke from a Star Trek Mirror Universe episode. Anyway, anyone who actually expects that to happen is clearly blinded by something else."

I ask you this, Simon - which Democrat do you think could beat Trump in 2020?

mukashi - Impeachment is not happening. You have to have evidence of a serious crime. There is no way the Senate will vote to impeach Trump either in his first or his second term.

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

Ah, I see bass has used his trademark move of "I'll just repeat your comments back to you."

I’m sorry, but yes, there is an opposite opinion when it comes to politics, I know you guys don’t like it, but please accept it.

Try harder. You don't even follow conversations anymore.

It would seem liberals have given up on that years ago.

He was obliterated by Michael Cohen, who won a $20 million damages claim against Stormy Daniels.

And he’s also washed up too as of now. The creepy porn lawyer finally bit off more than he can chew and he’s getting sued by his own former firm. What a piece of work this knucklehead is

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

Can't journalists at least try to be real? At least point out so called hush money is not actually a crime, at least point thst out before just repeating whatever nonsense democrats say. Also how about pointing out how unlikely the claim of impeachment is. The democrats are in the house even if they did it, The Republicans control the senate, they are not going to bring this up. And further impeachment doesn't somehow lead to jail. I get it, report what the democrats said but it's not real journalism if the journalist doesntbat least point out where the democrats are basically completely wrong

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

Fox News has the Clintons as the lead article today. Third time in a week. That's their go-to when things look bad for Trump.

-4 ( +1 / -5 )

But liberals not caring about the law when it comes to White liberals is ok?

Nope, it's not. No liberals say things like, "If Clinton is found guilty of X, she'll be pardoned; so it's all good."

It good that you admit you don't care about the rule of law in relation to white conservatives.

I think liberals don’t know otherwise they wouldn’t get too, too overconfident....but this is thr typical liberal mindset.

You think incorrectly. Again, it's not liberals making ignorant assertions such as, "X is a convicted liar, so is of no use as a witness."

The opposite holds true for us as well.

Sophisticated retort.
