Trump once again confusing the role of a US president with that of a banana republic dictator. Trump has zero regard for the republic and the US Constitution. I can understand why 'foreigners' meddle in support of him, but not Americans. Unless those Americans, including many like Trump who oppose individuals fighting fascism, actually want Trump to smash the republic and set up a system the anti-fascists oppose.

Trump is sensibly reducing the oversized US military presence abroad.... and predictable the fake media bashes him for that. If he increased it, they would bash him for that.

Drumpf bad, anytime, anywhere, whatever he does.

These stories always sound like, Trump decides to reduce military size in Germany. Sources say cook in the white house was not informed.

I have always thought the Trump Foreign Policy (an exaggerated use of the word Policy) was simple and it has a name.

The Putin Directive.

Every withdraw from an International Agreement or Treaty. Every insult and slight directed at our allies. Every supportive action towards Dictators is in fact to the Benefit of Russia and Putin.

Who in the world has gained the most in the last 3 1/2 years thanks to the insipid incompetence of Trump?

Putin, Russia and China. And China knows who to thank for their good fortune.

Putin.

 the fake media bashes him

How is the fringe/kook media reporting this? I won't click their sites because I don't want to make their 'elite' owners richer.

What message does that send to Putin who has increased the numbers of his troops on its borders with NATO.

It sends a very clear message - the same message the Puppet always send to his Master....

You pull the stings, and I'll dance...

Dancing Donald - the Puppet President...

Will there be a "whistleblower" for this too? Is this not a decision that a President can make, to bring troops home?

Much ado about nothing. Several thousands troops, if really redeployed from Germany, can be brought back in a very short notice. What's the fuss about?

@The Avenger

I have always thought the Trump Foreign Policy (an exaggerated use of the word Policy) was simple and it has a name. The Putin Directive

So, Putin directed Trump to do all that Trump did in the foreign policy? To pile pressure on Venezuela, to bomb Syria, to end the nuclear deal with Iran, to support the Israeli annexation of Palestinian lands? Seriously?

@lincolnman

You pull the stings, and I'll dance... Dancing Donald - the Puppet President...

Another Witness of the Putin's Directive? Are you guys organized in a church or something?

Trump's troop cut in Germany

Good. Let's see more troop cuts in more countries, especially in Afghanistan, Syria and Iraq which Mattis was opposed to.

blindsided senior U.S. officials

Good. There needs to be more blindsiding of U.S. officials, especially the Obama holdovers.

US Troops are there to protect them from Putin.....but, but Merkel signed a gas deal

with Putin....which doesn't make German-sense at all.

So Germany is double-timing the world... so that they can all sleep in peace every night and achieve prosperity...... at the expense of uncle Sam.....how nice.

Well......you guys complain there's too many U.S. military occupation troops around the world and they should be removed.

So Trump does what you've been demanding all along.

Now you're condemning his actions.

When he cuts U.S. military presence on Okinawa and mainland Japan, you're going to condemn that action too.

Damned when he doesn't, damned when he does.

Witness? It's in plain sight...or read the Repub Senate Select Intel Committee report...

Good. Let's see more troop cuts in more countries, especially in Afghanistan, Syria and Iraq which Mattis was opposed to.

Sure, let's abandon allies and cut and run on friends. Trump's foreign policy is the same as his one in DC - "Run and hide in the bunker!"...

Will there be a "whistleblower" for this too?

Of course, no doubt another Republican conservative icon like John Bolton...

In relatively rare criticism from his own party, 22 Republicans on the U.S. House of Representatives Armed Services Committee wrote to Trump saying a troop cut would damage U.S. national security and could encourage Russian aggression.

Well, it looks like at least 22 Repubs found some spine...we'll see if it goes MIA again...

Security experts have called the withdrawal plan a "gift" to Russia as it comes amid serious tensions between Washington and Moscow over arms control, Moscow’s support for separatists in Ukraine, the U.S. withdrawal from the Iran nuclear deal and other issues.

BINGO! This President always gives "gifts" to Putin - gift's that are always harmful to our allies or our US national interests.

Just one more example of The Trump-Putin Mutual Admiration Society...doing its best to make Russia great again...

Trump is mad that Merkel wouldn't come to his G7 during a pandemic. Germany foiled his plans to distract from all of his incompetence. This is his petty response! trump has been the highlight of Putin's espionage career!

trump is China's "spirit animal"!
