Good to see President Trump trying to get to the bottom of Democrats’ collusion with Russia to try to rig the 2016 election.

U.S. President Donald Trump has contacted other countries to introduce Attorney General William Barr

Barr's a career deep-swamper. Those in the US who want to maintain the principles underlying the republic need to know why Trump/Barr/Mcconnell etal are working so closely with 'foreign' states. If they are working with them to improve chances of peace, that would be OK. Instead it's looking like they're doing so for their own personal, financial gain - selling the country out to the highest bidder.

That the Breitbart/RT/infowars level media have been so effective at convincing so many Trump backers that Mueller's investigation was a 'hoax' says a lot about the power of media to influence those easily influenced by simple minded sloganeering. Just use a few words that are easy to remember like 'spy', 'hoax' and 'witch hunt'. And also find women that can be pointed to like Hillary, AOC, etal. The global alt right are using their media to push message telling their followers to be afraid of the 'others', and that only big brother the state led by an authoritarian can protect them.

No matter how the alt right try and spin it, Trump has admitted he leveraged the Presidency and U.S. foreign military assistance to have a foreign leader investigate his political opponent.

His purpose was to benefit personally. That is Abuse of Power, and impeachable.

My prediction on this latest debacle?

Both Barr and Giuliani will get burnt and be added to the long, long list of those associates of Trump who go under the bus, in order to save his skin.

Be much easier to jail the godfather and restore some dignity to not only the office of President but America's international standing, surely?

 My theory is that certain PAID actors are here running INFLUENCE CAMPAIGNS, and that wench they ran up against an actual legitimate Trump supporter who wasn't a total bigot or slow thinker they doubled down on talking point they are fed that only served to enrage a guy who just a single poster here, who now had research teams of people debating him cyber stalking his every post and never giving him a word in edge wise. 

Your theory is lessened somewhat by the fact that the poster in question always has a word, many, many words, edge wise. He's the most prolific poster on the site, with an output that resembles a blog or a manifesto.

And his lengthy, inflammatory and contradictory posts inevitably end up in hastening the locking of topics to do with Trump.

Your support is admirable, if a little bit transparent.

I agree, in fact, I hear the new Trump strategy is as follows;

It's all Giuliani's fault - I never had any discussions with him about digging up dirt on Biden - he did that all on his own. I never authorized the government planes he took on multiple trips to the Ukraine.

And Barr - he was the one on the phone cal with the Ukraine President, not me - he the one that said "I would like to ask you for a favor though". He and I sound almost exactly alike - but I'm more handsome and a stable genius.

Pompeo - that pompous, porcine, punk - he wanted to dig up dirt on Joe too - I didn't want to do it, in fact I like Joe, a lot. I'm from NY, he's from Delaware - we're friends....and I REALLY like his wife......

Mulvaney! That sneaky little *&&^%.... He started this whole thing - it wasn't my idea. Investigate him!

In the end, it's all about Trump. The vanity project or Frankenstein's monster that got out of hand.

The spineless GOP can't or won't rein him in and as a result, the US ends up saddled with the worst President in decades.

That said, his rampant ego and blatant disregard for the Constitution will put an end to the freakshow soon.

But at a terrible price - a damaged and divided country, to be at odds with itself for generations to come?

I wonder how many countries Trump hasn't tried to pull into his corrupt embrace?

This doesn't make sense at all when Russia hates Hillary when she was US Secretary of State

The last thing Russia would want is for her to become US President

No way would Russia rig an election that would result in a Hillary Presidency (at most, Russia would do nothing to help her)
