"Let's say that I like Taylor's music about 25 percent less now, OK?"

What a thin-skinned little twerp.

Grow up, Trump. Face the fact that most people don't like you at all.

Remember when the Dixie Chicks spoke out against Dubya?

I hope Taylor Swift is safe and no death threats are made against her.

Like so many women who speak out.

Judging by the latest polls, it doesn't seem so, but going back to Swift, who really cares. Swift gets a lot of support for supporting a Democrat, but the hypocrisy on the left is so outrageously funny. Kanye supports the President, he's just certifiable, he's dumb and an idiot, we have to shun him. Lol

Judging by the latest polls, it doesn't seem so,

Polls are inaccurate unless they support my position!

but going back to Swift, who really cares

Her millions of voting-aged fans.

Then I guess we have nothing to fear about the left.

Her millions of voting-aged fans.

Yes, like with the Dixie Chicks.

Yes, like with the Dixie Chicks.

Women being threatened.

Then I guess we have nothing to fear about the left.

That's exactly the same thing people said about Trump winning the presidential election because of polls.

Which is it? Do we use them or not?

Women being threatened.

Exactly.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

Yeah? Well, I like her music 25% more now. Granted, starting from a base of 0%, that still means 0%, but the empathy is there. My daughter likes her, of course. I'm glad she came out as her silence was creating space for rightists to claim her as their own.

That's exactly the same thing people said about Trump winning the presidential election because of polls.

Are the same people that desperately hoped that the pants suit lady would win, even TIME pre-wrote and took a photo cover of her as the winner or that the 2010 midterm the GOP would NEVER win the House and in 2014 the GOP would never win the Senate. So far the left and their predictions been pretty.....awful.

She's doing the decent thing and she has every right to. It's called the First Amendment. Period.

She can do whatever she wants and the same goes for Kanye. Period!

-8 ( +0 / -8 )

Still don't care about her music. She's living her life and has her own opinion she can be vocal about. This is still the US where free speech and expression are allowed.

But at least I know I agree with her dislike for Trumpkins.

4 ( +4 / -0 )

@TH Women being threatened.

I agree. With regard to women's issues, it's back to the US 1950's and into the Russian 21st century with Trump and his supporters. BTW Once again your vote count has been muted.

Swift gets a lot of support for supporting a Democrat,

I didn't know that. Do you have a poll to substantiate this assertion?

Personally, I've never cared for her music, and I don't care who she votes for. My comment was about Trump's pettiness. He's supposed to be president, not an insecure tween.

but the hypocrisy on the left is so outrageously funny. Kanye supports the President, he's just certifiable, he's dumb and an idiot, we have to shun him. Lol

Again with the blanket assumption. The left en masse shuns Kanye? I've never liked Kanye or his music. He's always been an idiot, so him supporting Trump doesn't really surprise me.

In the Trump era, individuals reasoning for themselves no longer exist.

Trump's got his base seeing only two poles: Trump's side, or the enemy's (usually called left/lib/dem/socialists). Nothing in between.

Little different from the way religious fundamentalists have viewed things throughout history. Including today. ISIS an example.

5 ( +5 / -0 )

This is just too funny. The Kavanaugh circus have left town so it’s back to these unimportant lowbrow stories to keep the fish posting. LOL.

bass4funk: "but going back to Swift, who really cares"

Millions. And your staccato posts on the issue prove you care very much, not to mention Trump's response within less than 24 hours, as well as the fearful responses of many other Republicans, prove they are scared and upset as well. You can try and hide it all you want, but someone who "doesn't care" does not make so many posts, if any at all. Now you have other bigots like Huckabee saying "who cares. 13-year-old girls can't vote", proving yet again that the aging white men in politics are, as always, extremely out of touch and sexist.

Trump probably won a few black votes after Derick Lewis interview. Swings and roundabouts.

“Few hours before the fight, Donald Trump called me and told me I got to knock this Russian motherF out. They making him look bad on the news, him and Putin and shite. F what they talking about. USA in this ho.”

Thanks for the support regarding your double-standard regarding polls.

This is just too funny. The Kavanaugh circus have left town so it’s back to these unimportant lowbrow stories to keep the fish posting. LOL.

And it worked, as your post demonstrates.

Trump's got his base seeing only two poles: Trump's side, or the enemy's (usually called left/lib/dem/socialists). Nothing in between.

And the Dems side, anything conservative, hate them, get in their faces, oppose them, capitalism is an abomination, No gray area.

Millions. And your staccato posts on the issue prove you care very much, not to mention Trump's response within less than 24 hours,

Did you ever call the left out on anything? Hmmmm, you didn’t.

as well as the fearful responses of many other Republicans, prove they are scared and upset as well.

Funny, the Dems don’t seem happy with the latest polls and the fact they they stirred a hornets nest and might have created a red wave, be careful what you wish for.

You can try and hide it all you want, but someone who "doesn't care" does not make so many posts, if any at all.

What?

Now you have other bigots like Huckabee saying "who cares. 13-year-old girls can't vote", proving yet again that the aging white men in politics are, as always, extremely out of touch and sexist.

Huckabee? No, 13 year olds shouldn’t vote, but if you insist, then they can buy a house, drink, marry, how about letting a 5 year old vote or dead people....no, the Dems already got that covered, the left are so desperate to get every vote, if they could get dogs to vote and be accepted, they would raid every shelter! As for white men, Interesting the left talking about aging white men. Well, on the left what about the aging white men in politics who are totally out of touch and not only racist, but sexist as well.

-6 ( +0 / -6 )

And the Dems side, anything conservative, hate them, get in their faces, oppose them,

Which is exactly what the republicans do to the democrats.

capitalism is an abomination, No gray area

Said exactly nobody.

Funny, the Dems don’t seem happy with the latest polls and the fact they they stirred a hornets nest and might have created a red wave, be careful what you wish for.

Any evidence to support your assertion that Dems don't seem happy with the latest polls?

What?

What part of that post did you not understand? Let me see if I can help: The fact that you have posted so much about this means you do care despite your protestations otherwise.

Huckabee? No, 13 year olds shouldn’t vote, but if you insist, then they can buy a house, drink, marry, how about letting a 5 year old vote or dead people....

Uhh . . . okay.

no, the Dems already got that covered, the left are so desperate to get every vote, if they could get dogs to vote and be accepted, they would raid every shelter! As for white men, Interesting the left talking about aging white men.

Just likevthe republicans.

Well, on the left what about the aging white men in politics who are totally out of touch and not only racist, but sexist as well.

Agreed. So we agree that the racist, sexist old white men of both parties are a problem.

Your hyperpartosanship gets in the way of your writing. It's hilarious.

Regardless of political bent, to like an artist's music less by 25% because they didn't support a politicians line is childish.

You may not like the person's comments, but to suddenly "mark down" the creativity, means you had no clue to begin with.

As Bassfunk mentioned Kanye West - a supporter of Trump - I don't connect with his like of him, but I still like much of Kanye's music. In fact there has never been a more appropriate moment than now to listen to Kanye's "Who'll survive in America".

'about 25% less'

And she's going to get only one scoop of ice cream.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

It's pretty comical watching all of these old white men of the GOP running around frightened by large groups of angry women and calling them a mob. What a bunch of wussies.

"It's pretty comical watching all of these old white men of the GOP running around frightened by large groups of angry women and calling them a mob. What a bunch of wussies."

I have to disagree with that, I felt it was shameful to watch Flake get emasculated in that elevator. At least he did the right thing in the end and voted for Kavanaugh as did that Democrat in W. Virginia.

-5 ( +0 / -5 )

"What I used to love about Taylor Swift is she stayed away from politics," Charlie Kirk, founder of the conservative non-profit student organization Turning Point, said on Fox News television on Monday.

A man who is easily pleased if all you need to generate his love is stay away from politics.

I wonder if he would have also withdrawn his love if she had come out for the Republicans? I think not

4 ( +4 / -0 )

@srrano I felt it was shameful to watch Flake get emasculated in that elevator.

Emasculated? Because a woman challenged him?

Trump supporters really do want to return to 1950's America, and in the case of many join 2018 Russia, times and places that men ruled over women.

On a 2018 Russia, where LGBT communities continue to face challenges, note, I wonder how Trump's proclaimed love for Kim is viewed.

4 ( +4 / -0 )

I am so glad the elections are coming up so that people can vote and then we can see who is right.

no electoral college, not but muh popular vote, no Russians, no Hillary or Obama. Just a straight up winner takes all vote for the future direction of our country.

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

Taylor Swift called out her groper publicly, thats the type of woman Trump doesn't like.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

Good for her. Her silence allowed a lot of people to manipulate and claim that she was on their side. Now we at least know where she stands and she shares the same dislike for Trump that most people do. Granted this still doesn't make her music any better but i'll take what i can get

3 ( +3 / -0 )

the same dislike for Trump that most people do.

Not most, half at the most.

Granted this still doesn't make her music any better but i'll take what i can get

Never liked the woman, she’s heartless, dumping boyfriends so easily and breaking their hearts!

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

@srrano I felt it was shameful to watch Flake get emasculated in that elevator.

"Emasculated? Because a woman challenged him?"

Oh my...

Contrary to what some might think the elevator ambush at the Kavanaugh hearings was purely political. A professional Communist activist, Ana Maria Archila who was funded by George Soros, orchestrated and planned the entire event. Jeff Flake fell for it and should be ashamed.
