What sort of a moronic president gets involved in retweeting such poop?

Even GWB looks like a classy intellectual these days compared to racist orange Johnny.

The racists are easily identified by their demands that people stop saying, "All lives matter".

**Exactly**.

These 2 'personal injury lawyers' blatantly threatened hundred of people just because they felt they were entitled to.

Since the law didn’t help them after they requested help, that means they have to take matters into their own hands and I don’t blame them, I would’ve done the same thing, not to mention these are not conservative people by any stretch of the means, where they live in that part of St. Louis, that’s a very elite liberal town and from the reports these people were also liberal, because one of their client that they are representing right now and if I’m not mistaken is affiliated with Black Lives Matter, so as I have been saying for years even liberals have guns and many are extremely happy that we have the second amendment, and it proved my case again why we need it.

The wife was waving the gun around dangerously and clearly doesn't understand the responsibility that comes with owning guns.

The mob didn’t understand either that being so stupid and trying to intimidate and threaten to attack people on private property, they were putting in cells also in a very dangerous position, had dinner done that then this woman did not have to go out waving a gun at them, it’s their own fault

Not only should their guns be taken away, they should be arrested for public endangerment.

No they should not, and all the more reason why now more than ever we need the second amendment, because if you defund the police, the only people that will be allowed to have security and will always be able to have that sense of comfort and feeling safe on these stupid pinheaded politicians, The rest of us will always have the 2amendment.

They didn’t enter either of these places.

The White House and Congress Buildings are also public properties but you can't enter carrying guns or weapons.

0 ( +5 / -5 )

But the house of the couple with the guns, the only ones from the homes of many tens of houses, were never threatened.

Um, yes they were.

I think in the military they called it a "measured response". They were stupid and over reacted to the situation. Remain inside and call the cops.

They did. Cops didn't come. From 3:55:

.....................

They were walking along a private road to

So by your very own admission , they were on PRIVATE PROPERTY.

and the persons with the guns were defending their own property.

People will look back at this in history as the time crazy violent radical liberals went rampant and destroyed our cities.

The most divisive US president ever,

You are joking when you say that right? Don’t even go there. Lol

once again trying to ensure he maintains support from white nationalists.

But supporting Antifa and BLM is ok? Seriously????

For whom is Trump trying to undermine the nation. Increasing racial tensions benefits no one living within the US borders. Except perhaps the guns and ammo industries and their shareholders.

Give me a break, liberals are THE ONLY ones that are using race as a dividing wedge. That’s the only thing they know how to do. If liberals didn’t have race to use to make their already weak political and social arguments they would have even less to stand on.

-2 ( +6 / -8 )

Albert S. Watkins, a lawyer for the couple, later issued a statement to KMOV saying the couple was fearful because of the actions of white protesters, whom he described as “agitators.”

“The McCloskeys want to make sure no one thinks less of BLM, its message and the means it is employing to get its message out because of the actions of a few white individuals who tarnished a peaceful protest,” Watkins said.

-1 ( +4 / -5 )

the facts are the home owners showed their weapons so protestors wouldn't enter their home, which they wouldnt of done anyways since theyre were walking to the Mayors home to protest. This after the same Mayor read the names and addresses of people calling for police reform, clearly invading their privacy. If the Mayor is vagrantly aloud to break privacy laws then why should protestors respect her privacy.

In a later interview the same home owners clearly stated they support the BLM protestors and dont want the video of them used by extremist as an excuse to do the same to other protestors .

See the perspective is very different when you see all the facts

6 ( +7 / -1 )

zichi - Their property like all the many others were not attacked. Speculation on your part.

LOL. The trespassers/protesters/mob probably completely ignored the armed citizens. Or not.

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

People should realize there is more to property/personal defense than just a gate; its done in layers. Physical barriers can be defeated, then its instrusive detection, could be geese, dogs, guineas etc. Then infrared, ultra sonic, CCTV, finally door step diplomacy.

-1 ( +3 / -4 )

Based on the couple’s account, police labeled the incident a case of trespassing and assault by intimidation, according to the incident summary. No other police reports were filed that night, a department spokesperson told Fox News.

-3 ( +4 / -7 )

Why not use Google and find it yourself? I’ve seen it.

-1 ( +5 / -6 )

Didn’t look very hard.

The only damage was to a gate but I can't find any video's or photos of that

I've seen some pictures of a damaged gate. And also this video of protesters walking through the UNdamaged gate.

https://twitter.com/alexiszotos/status/1277607426934616065

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

zichi - I may not agree with the protest but they were not thugs rioters or looters has you claim. A lot of speculation on your part.

The trespassers/protesters/mob were met by armed citizens who were protecting private property, and themselves. It's amazing how reluctant potential rioters, and looters, are when confronted by armed citizens.

2 ( +6 / -4 )

Didn’t look very hard.

4 ( +8 / -4 )

Public property.

So it was alright when heavily armed white protestors, some with confederate flags, stormed capitol buildings about the lockdowns?

2 ( +6 / -4 )

Zichi so you would sit quietly on your porch on your rocking chair watching this group who had just ripped down steel gates yelling and cheering, storm towards your home and some (Allegedly) approached the home , and you would still sit there calmly not in fear or in question of their motives is that right ?

If so then you are some kinda very brave person and I bet your wife feels safe in your care.

1 ( +5 / -4 )

I was terrified that we'd be murdered within seconds, our house would be burned down, our pets would be killed. We were all alone facing an angry mob.

LOL

Heh, SuperLib, you would have been cowering in fear, frantically trying to get through to the cops who might not answer being as how they're being defunded thanks to the likes of you.

-6 ( +6 / -12 )

How many people here would accept such an invasion by such a mob?

Not one of you would!

3 ( +9 / -6 )

zichiToday 11:58 am JST

> How did you jump from protestors to rioters and looters? There was no riot or looting. What were they stealing?

Zichi peaceful protesters do not break down steel gates to enter private property and approach the homes of peaceful people minding their own business on their own property, Havent you seen the damage that groups of marauding "protesters"" are doing or are you just looking away and pretending its not happening.

This group had already damaged private property and approached these peoples home, thats when they went from protesters to rioters and with out the guy and his wife standing there with guns those thugs would most likely have turned to looters.

1 ( +6 / -5 )

The other side of the story:

5 On Your Side’s Morgan Young spoke to two organizers from Sunday’s protests, Ohun Ashe and Reverend Darryl Gray.

They said no protesters were armed at the time the couple came outside with weapons.

“For them to come out there with their guns drawn, there was absolutely no reason at all,” Reverend Darryl Gray said.

“To be very clear, the gate was open. When we came off Kingshighway, the gate was open. As soon as protesters came through the open gate, the man and woman came out of their home. He came out first and was on the balcony.”...

Gray had a megaphone and said he told people to stay off the property and stay on the sidewalk during the protest. He said people complied with those orders.

I guess it comes down to who you want to believe. Personally, I'd be skeptical of the lawyers who are defending their possibly illegal actions that were caught on video.

-4 ( +3 / -7 )

Desert Tortoise - If I walked out and brandished a firearm at someone passing by on my street I would promptly be arrested, and rightly so. Why aren't these two in jail?

If you believe you should be arrested, who am I to argue? OTOH, these two didn't break any laws. The protesters illegally broke into a gated community (aka private property). Why weren't they arrested?

-2 ( +4 / -6 )

Private property rights, huh? Funny how Europeans/Americans didn't give a fig for the private property rights of native Americans back in the day and seized an ENTIRE CONTINENT BY FORCE. The times are a changin' my friends, better get used to it.

Most trump supporters don't understand irony!

It is non starter because John Wayne said the Native Americans were being selfish for trying to keep all the land for themselves.

4 ( +8 / -4 )

They also ripped down the iron gate on their property.

0 ( +7 / -7 )

Mark McCloskey, 63, who lives in the mansion with his wife, Patricia McCloskey, said they feared for their lives and that protesters damaged a wrought-iron gate at an entrance to the wealthy neighborhood.

..."This is all private property," he said in an interview with KMOV4 local news. "There are no public sidewalks or public streets.

It appears that the "peaceful" protesters broke into private property, of which the McCloskey's are part owners, in order to intimidated the residents. As progressives like to say, "Even if only one person objects to your actions, then you must stop". In this case, two people objected.

The protesters wisely chose not to destroy any more property during their march to intimidate a peaceful neighborhood.

The Princeton decision is part of a sweeping reassessment of historical icons and monikers amid growing calls for racial justice following the killing of Black Americans, including George Floyd, whose death under the knee of a white police officer roused world protests.

What is truly sad is that many black citizens have been killed in the violence incited by those high-jacking the demonstrations. Just a few days ago a 19 year old man was killed in the police free zone in Seattle and a 3 year old was killed in Chicago. Protestors are now actually pulling down statues of abolitionists. The violence is beyond any proportionality and mindless. It has devolved into a kind of burn it all down anarchy. It’s no wonder old people are freaking out. They have never been exposed to such unthinking criminality.

-4 ( +6 / -10 )

ulysses - The racists will vote team trump for sure, he’s put in a lot of effort wooing them!!!!

The racists are easily identified by their demands that people stop saying, "All lives matter".

-5 ( +6 / -11 )

U.S. President Donald Trump, again accentuating racial tensions in America, on Monday posted a video showing a Missouri couple brandishing guns towards protesters who were calling for police reforms.

The Democrats have been accentuating racial tensions in America, with the help of several foreigners using the internet, since before Trump was sworn into office. Blaming someone else for what has become the SOP for Democrat Party political tactics is also SOP.

-5 ( +6 / -11 )

What the "mainstream" media across the board ignores is that these "protesters" had been trespassing into a private area, breaking down the gates in the process. In legal terms, they had been invading someones living room.

Pretty nice demonstration of fake news..... which of course you only notice if you look at direct sources instead of CNN et al.

-2 ( +7 / -9 )

They were on their property protecting their property and within their rights, good on them and more people willing to stand up and defend their property and their way of life would put these rioters and looters in their place, they arnt protesters they are roving rampaging robbing stealing vandalizing criminals infringing on everyones elses rights,. Those two should have had more guns at the ready and their neighbors should have been standing with them.

-3 ( +8 / -11 )

They are both Democrat leaning BLM supporters

I could believe an internet poster or Snopes. Given Snopes has a questionable record with regard to credibility but is still much more believable than random internet posters, especially those who are partisan extremists, I'll believe Snopes.

The Mark McCloskey in the viral video, however, has also made several political donations. According to the FEC, the McCloskey in the viral video made multiple donations to the Republican National Committee, to the Trump Make America Great Again Committee, and to Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. in 2016 and 2017.

https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/mark-mccloskey-donate-democrats/

When Trump's fractals can only resort to more trumps in defense of their main male, you know they're struggling to hold on to their losing cause.

-3 ( +4 / -7 )

They were not on the private property of the McCloskey's. The road would be a community ownership or owned by a separate company and the residents pay a service charge. Like other gated communities.

Further, according to a St. Louis School of Law Professor, “People have a right to threaten force if they are threatened,” Ammann told the outlet. “However, if a group of protesters is walking by a home and not doing anything to the homeowners specifically, then they don’t have the right to threaten lethal force without an imminent threat.”

In fact, Under Section 571.030(4) of the Revised Statutes of Missouri, it is a crime when a person “[e]xhibits, in the presence of one or more persons, any weapon readily capable of lethal use in an angry or threatening manner.”

Attila

Maybe 'loser' was a bit kind. He's actually a complete idiot who doesn't read, makes decisions of life and death on a whim, cozies up to dictators, appoints his unqualified family members as 'advisers' (what a joke! Imagine if Obama had done that), and has just made the world more dangerous since he's been in office. So many people have left his employ because they know what he is like and they don't want to be involved with him at all. If that isn't clear to people, the US is in major trouble. If you think about it, Trump has done almost nothing of substance, other than divide the US even more than it was. Building a few small sections of an unnecessary wall, appointing a few judges (because he had to), and lowering taxes on the rich don't really count as special achievements I'm afraid.

4 ( +10 / -6 )

Oh yes, because he's the Great Escalator and unfit for office.

0 ( +5 / -5 )

Private property rights, huh? Funny how Europeans/Americans didn't give a fig for the private property rights of native Americans back in the day and seized an ENTIRE CONTINENT BY FORCE. The times are a changin' my friends, better get used to it.

0 ( +9 / -9 )

"Missouri's law is more extensive than those of other states because it allows you to use deadly force to attack an intruder to protect any private property that you own, in addition to yourself or another individual."

As soon as they broke the gate of the gated community, they were in private property.

-5 ( +7 / -12 )

The law of Missouri allowed the home owners to shoot any of these people. They broke the gate and entereed private property

I'm not sure that's true. Does castle doctrine include a front yard, or just a dwelling? Also, would 'deadly force' have been justified, if neither of the couple were under direct physical threat or attack? Finally, were they infringing on the protesters' first amendment rights? All that said, Missouri's castle doctrine laws are very extensive.

It must be remembered also, that they are both lawyers, and any statement they give to media after the event could certainly be skewed towards a possible defense of their actions.

5 ( +9 / -4 )

This has no use as a Trump attack so will disappear within 24-48 hours.

Same as the Louisville protester being shot, dropped out of the news when it was found to be a homeless BLM supporter shooting his own group.

Same as Walmart shooting, must have been no Trump connections.

Two black kids shot, 1 killed in the "CHOP"- nothing.

But media thought they found 2 rich, white racists that Trump was signalling he supported by posting their video. All in for that one!

-3 ( +8 / -11 )

The law of Missouri allowed the home owners to shoot any of these people. They broke the gate and entereed private property. They didnt shoot anyone, because they support BLM. You notice they said they only got angry when they saw armed, white people with the group.

Liberals were really hoping Trump had posted a video of racist whites threatening the valiant, peaceful protesters. Well if they are, they are liberal BLM supporting racist whites, so that narrative kinda backfired.

1 ( +10 / -9 )

I was terrified that we'd be murdered within seconds, our house would be burned down, our pets would be killed. We were all alone facing an angry mob.

LOL

2 ( +11 / -9 )

Serendipidous: a "loser"? You mean the man who, in his first effort in politics, defeated a person loudly proclaimed as the most qualified presidential candidate in history? If that is your definition of "loser", I would LOVE to hear who you consider a "winner".

The video speaks for itself. Potentially violent and aggressive thugs invade private property, and the owners show great restraint in driving them off without violence. One of the features of the recent civil unrest is the total lack of respect that leftists have for the concept of property. At least OTHER peoples' property. I am sure they would react differently if proto-fascists marched on THEIR houses and started destroying stuff.

-7 ( +10 / -17 )

Did you all see how that couple was waving those guns? Absolutely no muzzle discipline whatsoever.

Each of them looked like they could've shot the other. Multiple times.

They are the type of people who buy guns and never bother to learn proper use/safety.

13 ( +17 / -4 )

Trump is really losing it and losing everywhere! Quite fitting for a loser.

11 ( +17 / -6 )

Liberals and the media so desperately need to portray these 2 people as “racist white Trump supporters”.

but they are liberals. Oops. So only thing to look at is the criminal acts of the protesters.

-6 ( +10 / -16 )

Al Watkins, an attorney for Mark McCloskey, 63, and his 61-year-old wife, Patricia, said the protest was largely peaceful and the pair did not bring their guns outside of the home until two men in particular, both of whom were white, started menacing them

-4 ( +11 / -15 )

What is “provocative” is a large, hostile crowd invading a couples private property. The couple were entirely correct. And the potential mob kept moving!

-4 ( +10 / -14 )

They are both Democrat leaning BLM supporters. They just support their personal property more. Bad media narrative.

-11 ( +10 / -21 )

They could have stood there with their weapons pointed at the ground, in the air or away from the protestors if they wanted to make a statement.

Pointing weapons at people not posing a threat is dangerous, stupid, violates basic gun safety rules and possibly some laws depending on the jurisdiction. It is also provocative. Those morons should not have access to guns.

10 ( +20 / -10 )

Private property. The “protesters” had no right to be there. They were there en masse. The householders were understandably in fear. They had every right to do what they did. Case closed.

0 ( +11 / -11 )

The important point is the “protesters” moved on pretty fast!

4 ( +9 / -5 )

The racists will vote team trump for sure, he’s put in a lot of effort wooing them!!!!

8 ( +16 / -8 )

There was no reason to trespass through an iron gate showing entry to private property.

Maybe you don't know, but in America you have the right to defend by law your property and shoot if necessary.

A few seconds is indeed enough to have your life destroyed.

If it seems overreacting even for me, I understand their behavior and I shall not judge.

-4 ( +12 / -16 )

People have the right to defend their property, do they not?

In your country how do the courts differentiate defending property from intimidating and threatening.

4 ( +13 / -9 )

If I walked out and brandished a firearm at someone passing by on my street I would promptly be arrested, and rightly so. Why aren't these two in jail?

You apparently missed this:

Mark McCloskey, 63, who lives in the mansion with his wife, Patricia McCloskey, said they feared for their lives and that protesters damaged a wrought-iron gate at an entrance to the wealthy neighborhood. Both are personal-injury lawyers.

"This is all private property," he said in an interview with KMOV4 local news. "There are no public sidewalks or public streets. I was terrified that we'd be murdered within seconds, our house would be burned down, our pets would be killed. We were all alone facing an angry mob."

-5 ( +16 / -21 )

If I walked out and brandished a firearm at someone passing by on my street I would promptly be arrested, and rightly so.  Why aren't these two in jail?   Worse yet, what is this president trying to say in the way he used these images?

8 ( +22 / -14 )

People have the right to defend their property, do they not?
