If you want people to do more the first step is to get out of their way. The world will police itself just as soon as America stops being world police. Just pack up and go home. Get out of everyone's faces. Leave them alone. And I suggest an apology for all the meddling complete with delivery of American war criminals to the ICJ.

Exellent idea. The U.S. should stop playing kindergarten cop and let others be adults, to take care of themselves. Japan is capable of defending itself.

End reliance on fossil fuels, for starters. Go solar, hydro, geo, wind... the alternatives are there and so is the will.

Good excuse for China to move their warships up into the Gulf from their PLA support base in Djibouti.

But seriously though, could the day come when we see tanker convoys accompanied by Japanese and Chinese warships through the Hormuz Strait?
