Ì wonder what sort of math was used to come up with the decision to deem that 'the majority of Western nations' recognized the body now headed by someone when rejected the legitimacy of every election his side lost, even ones certified by the former U.S. President Carter as being free and fair, as 'the sole body recognized as democratically elected'.

Especially worth noting is that these are the same countries who 'recognized the existence of WMDs in Iraq' based on the same sort of unsubstantiated, vague accusations as being made about the 'rigging' (you'll notice, no examples, no evidence, and really not even any theories have been put forth as to HOW the Presidential election was 'rigged', just a simple 'we don't like who won, so we reject the whole process' statement by the folks who refused the opportunity to monitor it, while those who actually sent people to observe found those observers unanimous in saying that the poll results reflected the will of the population)

I forget, how many times are you allowed to be fooled by the same people, in the same way, before you need to point the finger of blame at yourself?

Include a Presidential election and you've got a deal, Maduro. The people of Venezuela deserve to choose.

In a speech at a pro-government rally, Maduro said "we will legitimize the sole institution which has not been legitimized in the last five years."

Maduro was the one who didn't recognize the result of that Congressional election in the first place!

It was a legit election - it was Maduro's action that's not legitimized

Recognize the elected Congress first. Then have an election for everyone including the Presidency, and let anyone eligible be able to run (unlike the last Presidential election when the main opposition leader was put under house arrest)
