They argue that Britain can do well outside the European Union - even though an abrupt departure would cause short-term pain.

I admire their optimism but it doesn't look that way with plants shutting down and businesses re-locating to other countries.

That statement was utterly bizarre. May failing to take any responsibility for the chaos and blaming it all on the MPs and insisting the deal will go thorough, while forgetting it's MPs who will vote on it. She is utterly deranged.

Meanwhile, a planned cross party meeting with senior representatives, an attempt to reach a compromise from the Brexit mess, was rendered useless when 70 year old stroppy child Corbyn walked out as he refused to be in the same room with Chuka Ummuna. Corbyn does the impossible and looks worse than May.

She is utterly deranged.

She is, she's completely lost her mind.

No, the meeting was supposed to be only for the heads of each party. May changed the rules unilaterally without telling anyone and Corbyn blew a gasket, as he or any of the others were perfectly entitled to do. Ummuna is the leader of nothing.

The independent Group is not legally yet a party, but it has 11 MPs, more than the Greens, May's best bigot mates the DUP, Plaid Cymru and the same as the Lib Dems. Ummuna is their spokesperson and had the right to be there. Corbyn KNEW he would be there but turned up so he could make a show of walking out.

The Independents should have stepped down and fought in the by-elections, though. It was a case of opportunism for them, I feel.

Says who? He's not a party leader and the Independents are going to fade away in pretty short order. As TH says they should have resigned their seats. They're Blairite opportunists, funded by Israel:

Toyota just announced yesterday they will be producing their new hybrid in the UK from the end of 2020, regardless of the outcome of Brexit.

Well, that's good news, Tangerine. As I've remarked before, I hope the people of the UK don't suffer because of Brexit.

Bwahahahahahaha

Yeah, she's on the side of the Remainers, the minority.

I am on your side” ….....

The British electorate could be forgiven for finding May's weasel words frankly insulting.

The damage to the framework of/to the UK cherished parliamentary democracy has yet to be fully realised....

What’s next? Thatcher rhetoric like the lady’s not for turning?

She’s already driven into a brick wall twice.
