Interesting you mention Assads father. While the fake "mainstream" media continued to peddle the narrative that the Syrian "uprising" originated under bad boy Assad and somehow expresses a desire for democray, anybody who has looked into Syrian history knows that the Sunni islamist resistance against the Bahtist government goes way back and kept his father busy already. (The town of Hama comes to mind....).

But do not expect the low-information crowd that reads the NYT and watches CNN to know that.

No self-respecting Jihadist would want to set up HQ in a hospital, not for the past five years at least, since they know only too well how the Syrian regime has chosen to target hospitals in order to terrify everyone in a community into moving out of each area.

Thanks to the Russian intervention ISIS / other jihadists' onslaught was stopped and Syria remained a united secular country, very contrary to what Western (U.S. - NATO) aggressions did to Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya. Western mendacity and duplicity are detestable.

Seeing that Assad is successful in driving out the jihadists, I think we should get ready for another fake news blitz, involving the "white helmets" and a staged "poison gas attack" in Idlib. We have seem the pattern so many times before.

Oh sure. Badman Assad selectively bombs hospital and camps.

I find it amazing how our "mainstream" media collectively supports the Sunni jihadist headcutters. Who is giving them marching orders?

The situation is complex and cannot simply be divided into good guys versus bad guys.

There is little doubt, however, that Russian intervention has caused many deaths and its support of the Assad regime is despicable.

You know the jihadists are loosing when their propaganda wing start to cry about women and children. Their supporters in the West do the same.

You know the Russian Air Force is involved when you see the hospitals in ruins and hundreds of thousands of women and children are fleeing cities for their lives.

I wonder if they used the definition of 'hospital' that echoes the US definition of 'medic' when their guys are on the receiving end of fire (a guy who's primary duty is shooting, carrying pistol, machine gun, and grenades, who has momentarily stopped firing to slap a wound kit in someone), where any building where a fighter also has a first aid kit is a 'hospital'.

They definitely didn't use the one the US uses when they are the ones doing the firing (where if someone in the building was once accused of having a weapon, it isn't a hospital even if that someone is on the operating table or in the morgue)
