Well done President Biden!
Wow how sweet that sounds, President Biden.
Totally opposite of citizen trump!

Its nice to see an American President actually doing his job for a change.
And this one is even allowed to use Twitter.
All very good developments.

It's called "cleaning up the mess"....though mess might not be a strong enough word...
For previous examples of Presidents that had to do this, see Bill Clinton and Barack Obama...
Toasted Heretic
A wise, and decent move. Don't mess it up.

And this one is even allowed to use Twitter.
Good one, As long he tags along with Twitter's policies..Twitter will decide what he can/cannot post.

Look, the grown ups are back. Unfortunately this means the U.K. now holds the title of the most incompetent leader.

Hope he does a decent job. One criticism of the Obama - Biden administration was that the economic recovery after the car crash under Bush 2 disproportionately benefitted the already well off. Hope this isn’t repeated.

When Trump became a treasonous sputnik for Putin in order to get in the WH, he practically stopped being an American citizen.
Joe has been getting on the ball since he won the election. He's already done more WORK than Trump has ever done his whole wretched life. And don't forget his 8 years as Obama's VP, that means he already knows the ropes.
Joe has said a few things in the past that I thought were dumb but he's not an immature churlish sassymouth brat. He's got more class than Diaper Don will ever have.

Unfortunately this means the U.K. now holds the title of the most incompetent leader.
The labour immigration policies among others is why that elite type is the leader.

Well, the way things are, I'd take my chances on 11 million illegals over 60 million non patriotic MAGA followers.
They'd be less toxic, more law abiding, and not organizing an attack on our Capitol and our constitution.

In contrast, Biden isn't lying or denying about the virus either. I'm glad he's not bee-ess ing about it, because of the LIES TrashTrump said and the unrest he stirred up, more people got sick than needed to be.
Boris got sick but look how he's handling CoVid In The UK (it's not 'anarchy' but bad enough). I guess he didn't get his nickname 'Bozo' for nothing.

I think you should take a look at his approval ratings as he left office clinging to his conspiracy theories.
Not great.

Trump agrees with you - he loves employing illegals at his properties - cheaper than hiring Americans...
Yep, competency...
Only if the Warden at Rikers Island gives him a day pass....

Go to California and you'll see these migrants working in the Napa Valley fields, gathering grapes and processing them into the wines we drink.
And elsewhere they're in the apple and peach orchards. They are hard workers, illegal or not. Immigrants often get the jobs nobody else wants. I knew and saw that when I was stationed at military bases in California. That's why I never bought any of TrashTrump's hateful rhetoric and lies. He's a disgusting fascist swine.

The financial crisis created by the Republicans was of such severity(it nearly brought down the world economy), Obama solving it in itself was a bit of a miracle.
Necessarily, the rich may have gotten richer, but I don't hold any animosity toward Obama for any imbalance because it wasn't from a base zero start point and had major, huge, unsolvable but solved, implication from the horror show situation handed to him.

Well said. I think we need to offer Guatemala a deal - we'll take the caravans if they take the Militias, Proud Boys, the tactical guy who went to the insurrection with his mother, and Mr horns and furry hat...
I'd doubt if they would take it, but we'd sure get the better end of the deal...

That stupid unnecessary Iraq War sucked up lives, finances, resources. It was wasteful and should not have happened. Not to mention the financial collapses happening in America like Enron. And getting rid of Saddam Hussein solved nothing for Iraq, rotten and bad as he was. That stupid war lead to the rise of ISIL who is/was a greater problem than Saddam ever was. Obama acted on that one, as any POTUS should've. It was a crazy bewilderingly ugly genocidal situation. After Dumpster got in office he imposed his racist ban on refugees and we don't know the truth about what our forces are doing in the Middle East. Even the Army Times have contradicted in print what Trump says, so what really IS going on in Syria and elsewhere? I guess we'll find out in the time to come.

Guatemala has a long ugly history of fascism. The United Fruit Company led to the overthrow of democracy there in the 1950s, which led to an extremely ugly 36-year civil war in Guatemala. During that time th Christian fanatic dictator initiated a genocidal campaign against Mayans 'so they wouldn't turn to Communism'. Things are still very unstable there. If these militia scum love violence and hatred so much, Guatemala is the place for them! Other than Hell, that is.

FDR died in the presidency........ Think you mean the other Roosevelt
Biden signing a bunch of EO's cancelling Trump's policies doesn't feel like much of a start. And some of what he is talking about (e.g. DPA, vaccine rollout) is just more of the same.
Let's hope he can help the states to a healthier position (although skeptical that big government will ever be able to "solve" for the virus), rebuild the economy (although higher taxes and more lockdowns won't make that easy), not get involved in any new wars or ramp up presence in existing ones (his track record as a warmonger makes that unlikely) and get some sense into house Dems about law and order.
With such a talented and diverse set of new appointments that is surely not too much to ask.

Welcome back to the world, USA. We missed you.

The financial crisis created by the Republicans was of such severity(it nearly brought down the world economy), Obama solving it in itself was a bit of a miracle.
That financial crisis was created during the Clinton era by changing policies which allowed these types of loans in the first place..the banks went ahead and exploited those loans in every possible way. Obama bailed out the banks..It was not him but the bankers who bailed themselves out..Obama just rubber stamped.

Biden got off to a good start with a guardedly joyous ceremony and giving the best inaugural speech I've ever heard (because Stephen Miller didn't pen it) in contrast to the dismal display of hollow triumphalism and vulgar populism that marked Trump's inauguration when he rambled on incoherently with his boilerplate bombast before getting lost in a dark place with his infamous American "carnage", an awkward, erratic speech that we all now recognize as the hallmark of Trumpian aphasia and inarticulateness and which discombobulated even the tongue-tied, tin-eared Dubya who summed it up best: "That was some weird s**t." Then wasting no time after the ceremony was completed Biden, faster than you can say "Obama", immediately sat down to work at the Resolute Desk to begin the serious business of dismantling and undoing the scanty but destructive legacy of Trump's monstrous, sick ego.

Well, the way things are, I'd take my chances on 11 million illegals..
There will be far more very soon..and that American dream is almost over for the legal immigrants.. as illegals would be preferred over legal immigrants..

The Biden administration also intends to join the COVAX alliance
So the federal/state governments will not decide on the production/distribution of the vaccine but the pharma firms.. the elites are back.

It's refreshing to have a logical and sane person in the most powerful position on Earth.
Also, only Trump supporters will think that Mask=Democrats.
Toasted Heretic
Nah. Johnson lied to the electorate and had canny PR.
The elites never went anywhere... except a few who fled to Mar a Lago. Am sure he'll be back (to face justice) real soon, though.

So true. Also, let's not forget that Trump is notorious for stiffing payment to his workers. His followers should have used their "Stop the Steal" signs for Trump to stop stealing money from them and his workers.
Thomas Tank
I didn't vote for Biden, but I support him and wish him a successful term as POTUS. I hope that he will be fair and partial, and that he will do what is best for the citizens of the USA.
mrtinjp
Nah. Johnson lied to the electorate and had canny PR..
He did not do anything, the labor and its immigrations policies did it for him..
Toasted Heretic
He lied about the border in Ireland.
He lied about the NHS.
He lied about the EU.
He lied about Labour.
Some more lies here

If Biden has any sense about him, and being of Irish stock he should, he'll be very wary of Johnson and his promises.
In the meantime, nativist America doesn't much care for a PotUS of Catholic/Irish descent, because they know how their ancestors were mistrusted and mistreated when they came over. Even when JFK was running for office, he had to endure sectarian taunts from those who questioned his loyalty to America.
Thomas Tank
What are you talking about?

Now y’all will get to witness some real fascism, not like the fake MSM kind drummed up against trump.
Yep, It's already happening..so so many business, political leaders are making politically correct statements, many have gone silent, even that Capt Sully has made such a statement.. all out of fear of the radical left.. that fear in the left US is as real as it gets.
mrtinjp
Well, my Pharma stocks should do well, no price cuts for all those old people and their Meds..
Yep..infact no price cuts anywhere..Trump could force them to cut the price..now no such thing..
