China is starting to get tiresome now, if they thing picking up fights with everyone will make them strong someone needs to teach them what happened to the Nazis!!!

It is America that pick fights with everyone, China is just responding in kind.

China has had disputes with most of its neighbors in the past few weeks.

Then launched cyber attacks on Australia and now this.

The CCP might teach you differently but try to take advantage of being in the free world!!

It's state-led kidnapping for political deal. It's an open secret. Not only those Canadians there are also many foreigners being detained for long, charged on dubious count.

Among victims are some Japanese nationals whose current status "going missing". How could the Japanese officials possibly resume arrangement to invite President Xi on state visit? Their super-leniency toward Beijing is inconceivable.

It's simple don't visit China have nothing to do with China and you will be fine, Or you might have to make a video under tortuous conditions. Even students tried to make a stand look haw that worked out.Good luck Hong Kong China is toxic for anyone who gets close to it.

Too bad Trudeau and Trump aren't on better terms - he could ask Trump to get down on a knee and "plead" with Xi, like he did as mentioned in Bolton's book...

What if modern society got this wrong? Perhaps everyone should be prosecuted in their home country. We can have treaties like this (bilateral and multilateral treaty orgs), and if no treaty, govt does not condone trip and hence traveller is on their own.

For example, if Bob from Zalaei is accused of killing someone when visiting Erenao, he would be charged by Erenao and Zalaei embassy informed. Bob would then be kicked out of country, escorted by Zalaei embassy official to then be held until trial in Zalaei. An Erenao co-prosecutor and observers could even be appointed for that trial.

Couldve just used those as example, but in that case:

Meng Wazhou would be charged by US and chinese embassy (in canada?) informed. Chinese embassy official would escort to airport back to China and held until trial (or pretrial release). American co-prosecutor could come to Chinese court.

The two Canadians in china would be charged by China and canadian embassy informed. Canadian embassy official would escort to airport back to canada and held until trial (or pretrial release). Chinese co-prosecutor could come to Canadian court.

The rest of the world really needs to stop feeding the Chinese monster govt, start dismantling investments there etc.

It should be crystal clear that the Chinese govt(not its people) mean harm to many people & countries around the world!

Things will get worse when Meng gets escorted into the U.S.

I wonder if Canada's inaction over these 2 being detained and general silence on anything China related has anything to do with the $1.2 million Trudeau's foreign minister owes to China? Meanwhile this week Trump signed into law the bill that allows the US to put sanctions on China for its "war" against its Muslim Uighur minority.

Beijing Olympics in 2022 with Canadians fraudulently in jail? Forget about it

Look the wrong direction in China and you could be arrested. Does your phone have a GPS? if it isn't the Chinese GPS version, that is breaking Chinese law. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Restrictions_on_geographic_data_in_China

CCP doesn't understand what an independent judiciary means. They could arrest every Canadian in Hong Kong and China it wouldn't free the Huawei criminal. We'd laugh at the superior intellect except so many are suffering.

Time to stop enabling China. Divest. Ask companies where their product is made, who their backers are. If it's China, find someone else. Support democracy not just at home but also abroad. Stop being a hypocrite for a $4 hair dryer
