That's nothing to be gleeful about. Healthcare worries are a reality for millions of Americans at risk of losing the services they have.
Nothing Trump says can be believed. The 'we' he's referring to probably include Trump, his family, and his fellow elite. The GOP have long cared primarily for maintaining the wealth and power of America's elite, people who already have excellent healthcare. The elite don't care about the rest of the public. Trump and the GOP are doing whatever they can to finally turn the US into an oligarchy.

"I'm a really smart person, a stable genius." But you can't see my college grades.
"I'm really rich, worth $10 Billion." But you can't see my taxes.
"No collusion, no obstruction. I'm exonerated." But you can't see the Mueller report.
" I have a really great health care plan, lower costs and premiums and will cover everyone." But you can't see my healthcare plan until November 2020 after you vote me back into office.

Truml and his supporters are only worthy of being mocked. Engaging them in critical discourse is pointless given they are impervious to facts and logic. It's as if they enjoy demonstrating their utter ignorance to the world.

Ah, same plan as in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017. But this time it will be 2021.
I picture GOP supporters running to kick the football like Charlie Brown and Republicans pulling it away, But they sure will cheer when Trump gets on stage promising cheaper and better healthcare as if they haven’t been duped for over a decade.

I’ll say this, the GOP are not impressing me with any of this, Trump shouldn’t have said anything about this issue until after his second term. I get it and understand why they try to deal with this vexing issue, but truth be told, they don’t want to get anything or anywhere near this mess, the Democrats still can't provide anything remotely low price of value or of the highest quality, you still can’t keep your doctor and the premiums are killing millions from wanting to buy into this crap, as long as people have to pay on subsidies that have nothing to do with them or connected to their plan, the signup of this monstrosity for the large majority will still be at a low minimum. For the majority of Americans that are in the individual market, life will continue as usual. The Democrats think they can do well on this issue, then fix it for the 22 million that don’t have any insurance, keep the premiums down, allow more choices, make if more affordable and maybe give these people some hope and stop burdening the middleclass to pick up the tab for everyone else.

LOL! GOP, the party of "Healtcare"...right. It's ridiculous, Trump wants to kill American healthcare before even coming up with a back up plan. And then McConnell tells him to back down because he's making a joke of their party so he does. Look whose running the real circus now.
SuperLib
I think at this point most Americans understand that the GOP will not be able to come up with a healthcare alternative. So, yes, in a way it is up to Democrats to fix it.
Unfortunately, fixing Obamacare is a non-starter for the GOP. They refuse to help the situation, and they are unable to present alternatives. So, we get 11 years of nothing.
lostrune2
Don't put the cart before the horse. Talk is cheap - come up with a plan first, so people can take any mouthpiece about "repeal and replace" seriously.
That way, everything's on the table. Obamacare is already on the table; people already know what it's about. Any alternative plan has to be put on the table as well; so people can also scrutinize what it's about. Then people know what it takes and can decide unblind, unlike messy Brexit. Even skeptics think better the devil ya know than the devil ya don't.

It's useless to try to get it done before the 2020 elections, with the House, incredibly, still in Democrat hands. They won't cooperate. Republicans ( no RINOS, please ) will have to take back the House to get this done.
We do not want Medicare for all, with the government deciding everything and we having no options.
*President Donald Trump has made 9,451 false or misleading claims in his first 802 days in office!*
Democrats and RINOS have gummed up the works on health care for the American people, which is way worse.

Looks like the Trump supporters are on a sick day.
Au contraire! This is interesting:
Florida Sen. Rick Scott unveils Transparent Drug Pricing Act and says Democrats want to ruin health care

Deadforgood
Unfortunately for the GOP, if Trump can't offer a plan for better healthcare soon, he won't have the chance in 2021.
Deadforgood
Rick Scott is an idiot. And transparent drug prices won't lower costs...btw, Florida has one one the sickest populations in America with Rick Scott as Governor for 8 years. And Trump thinks he's the man with the plan, lol. No wonder McConnell told him to zip it.

Just don't socialize healthcare like it is in the military. I want to bitch about the healthcare system being broken and socialism whilst I get my socialized healthcare at a non-existent military base in Fukuoka.
SuperLib
They haven't start trying yet?

Trump sure got a spanking on this one!

Serrano: "Florida Sen. Rick Scott unveils Transparent Drug Pricing Act and says Democrats want to ruin health care"
Rick Scott, with the biggest fraudulent act against Medicaid in the nation's history? Good job, Serrano!

McConnell is making Donnie look like a real weak sister...
Donnie: The Republican party is the party of healthcare and we'll repeal and replace Obamacare...
McConnell: Mr President, go out and grovel and take back everything you said...
Donnie: We'll do healthcare in 2021...
Donnie: I'll close the border...
McConnell: Mr President, we won't close the border, now go out and walk it back...
Donnie: We'll, I wasn't really serious about closing the border...
Wow, that's real humiliation - about as bad as Coulter calling him an idiot and weaker on immigration than Obama...
bass4funk
And the Democrats solution is....unaffordable, long waits, can’t have your choices of doctors be told to where to go, exactly what kind of treatment you are allowed to have, premiums through the roof, Obamacare has already killed the middleclass.
bass4funk
He didn’t call this fake.

Can US citizens go to a military base for treatment in the US like you go to a US military base in Fukuoka for treatment? What are the costs on the base in Fukuoka?
These are useful questions. If they can go to military bases, this would give US citizens more choice.
Toasted Heretic
Very useful questions. The military here need to diversify their operations, if they insist on staying.
Is healthcare subsidised in this case? Is it incorporating elements of socialism?
