We know how this will play out. The usuals will obstruct, divert, repeat the same old tired rubbish and get it shut down.
The bipartisan attempt will fail also. Empty barrels make the most noise, don’t listen to them.
SuperLib
Or the Dems will give the GOP what they want, and the GOP will say NO anyway and bring up new talking points.
Blacklabel
focus on roads, bridges, airports, and other actual infrastructure and there is a deal to be had.
if not, then there is nothing more to talk about.
bass4funk
Why would they do that? They could care less about infrastructure, drive anywhere along the East Coast, the roads are a complete disaster, the Dems had years and years of opportunities to pass an infrastructure bill and they didn't. The money was never allocated to repair the nation's crumbling infrastructure and you can see that only 5% is going to actual infrastructure.

Mitch won't go along with anything that will improve the lives of lower and middle class Americans...or make us more competitive globally....
He's all in on obstructing anything that Biden puts forward...Biden could outlaw abortion tomorrow and Mitch would say he's taking "women's freedom away"....
They were all for an unfunded $1.9 trillion tax break for the Top 1%...but ordinary Americans?
The Fascist Insurrectionist Party only caters to the rich, the racists, and the Q kooks...

If the Democrats can’t improve the lives of the inner city minorities, how on Earth can they improve the lives of all Americans? They can talk all day (and they do) but if the rhetoric is not put in action, it means nothing.
No, if Biden would be sensible and the Democrats would keep their promises he would, so far for the Dems is undermining everything Trump did and focusing on Jan. 6th that’s helping the GOP for a good setup to retake the House.
Only 5% of the money is going to actual infrastructure, now the other 97% should go to rebuild the cities, stores and businesses that were burned down and suffered through 3 long summer months of $23 billion worth of damage. But to them it’s not important, never was, never will be.

Percentages only add up to 100, in circumstances like this. Not 102%. I don't know where you copied this information from, but I suggest you get a better source. Like Japan Today Dot Com.

The GOP doesn't care about anything but their rich donors and their own pockets. Like their counterparts in the japanese LDP, they're a cancer on society.
Commodore Perry
The Dems only care about satisfying their corporate donors, and filling their own pockets.
Did anyone see the bridge that collapsed in D.C. yesterday?
Biden can't even maintain his own house.
Express sister
I might be wrong about this, but I'm fairly sure the White House isn't a bridge.

I had no idea Zuckerberg and Dorsey had love for the GOP, had really no idea all of Hollywood and the entertainment industry loved Republicans. I guess I was wrong about Cher and Behar.
What? Lol
Interesting, Biden wants to use only 97% of our tax dollars for larger entitlements and 5% to fix how many roads? Been to NYC lately?

Permanent tax breaks for the Top 1%, temporary ones for the middle class...
This article says it all...

Sensible was a joint Jan 6th bilateral commission that the Dems gave the Repubs everything they asked for....and Mitch then flipped and said no....
Hmmmm.....explain how 5% plus 97% equals 100%.....MAGA-math?
Jsapc
Ah yes, because big tech and a few hollywood actors are the only and most important "rich donors" in america now. Forget about the oil, coal, car, finance, tobacco, pharma, insurance, firearms, military lobbies, they don't exist anymore. Oh, have you ever heard of the US Chamber of Commerce?
97% + 5% equals 102%. Also, repeating lies won't make them true.
Have you? I suspect not.
ArtistAtLarge
Anything less than $4 trillion is just patching and band-aids.
bass4funk
But all the liberal tech geeks seem to be happy with Biden, they wanted him, now they got him and he can take all their money.
More wasted hearings, another possible impeachment just to satiate the obsessive hunger of the Dems, good he caved. Use private money and when the GOP take the House and launch their own investigations, I hope the left is accepting
Liberals can’t do math, so 5% of the total is going to infrastructure and the other 97%…who knows, who cares it’s just other saps money.
bass4funk
Always have been, without them. California would be another Detroit
It exists, it’s just the left think electric cars will replace everything in 4 years, wrong! Not for a very long time.
That 97% won’t go to anything the Dems say, yeah I believe that.
Express sister
Sounds good for them. Democracy works.
You literally don't understand that 5% and 97% don't add up to 100% and accuse others of being bad at math? No wonder you're a GQP lover.
Commodore Perry
Democratic Senator Mark Warner, another member of the negotiating group, said the framework was "much sturdier" than a previously announced one by a smaller group of 10 senators.
Nice opening the way to the backdoor privatization of infrastructure that will be critical in battling and adapting to climate change. Wall Street is looking forward to this..
bass4funk
Yes and why would they care one iota for the poor or illegals, Joe is their guy.
I do, I know from the Dems history that only 5% is going to actual infrastructure and the rest….whatever…
Express sister
I'm glad to hear that you're opposed to privatization! I agree that the means of production and exchange should be owned by the proletariat, and boy do I have an ideology for you!
