The answer to this couldn't be clearer and the response has been used since the bus boycotts in Montgomery. If you care about racial, economic and political inequality, or you're just a fan of the truth, boycott Facebook.

I wasn't aware people still used the obsolete Facebook.

The fringe/kook media doesn't deal with reality leaving their followers out of touch.

 With over 2.6 billion monthly active users as of the first quarter of 2020, Facebook is the biggest social network worldwide.

Brandon Dail, a user interface engineer in Seattle, wrote on Twitter that he was dismissed for publicly scolding a colleague who had refused to include a statement of support for the Black Lives Matter movement on developer documents he was publishing.

It appears that Brandon Dail is NOT allowed to bully his fellow workers.

@Yakyak

Have a look at this:

It seems to completely contradict your idea that only 40-50s use it.

More than Twitter, Facebook is responsible for the validation of ignorance, fake news (the Russian and Trumper kind) and division. Instant availability of a zillion bits of information, half truths and lies without any filters whatsoever is not public discourse but the exact opposite. It is manipulation of the general public and of voters.

Provide easy to use filters and information management tools, or we are headed right down the rabbit hole of a new dark ages.

You don’t get to force your politics to be included in any team projects or into things your coworker produces.

don’t worry he will get some high level position at some super liberal supporting organization. The narrative always rewards.

but one should probably reconsider their life path if they are fired for being too liberal ....by Facebook

Best to avoid politics at the office. If I had that job at Facebook I would have my resume out to every other tech company possible, though.

McCarthyism at its finest. America is undergoing a Maoist cultural revolution requiring compliance or else. I am shocked that Zuckerberg has been able to resist the red book carrying comrades for this long. James Damore and many other free thinkers were removed from Google for their failure to follow group think. The requirement to think as one is now also rampant in the news media - as recently demonstrated by the NY Times revolt over a recent op-ed column that violated group think sensibilities. The sports world forced a formerly well respected football player to renounce a deeply held belief.

Hillary and the DNC paid Putin for the dossier. Mueller came up empty. Wishing otherwise won’t change the facts.

Double standards for all!

Double standards for all!

If the partisans don’t have double standards they (we) would have no standards at all. ;-)
