comey also said hi to Mueller:

According to James Comey, if you’re investigating for a year and you don’t know what’s going on, “you should be fired.”

doing "tremendous damage" to institutional norms.

yep draining that swamp (“institutional norms” Comey calls it). Exactly what he was elected to do. Interview was a total cry fest with a bunch of I’m not sure/I should have but didn’t/maybe/possibly type weak answers.

-17 ( +9 / -26 )

Cry me a river. Comey politicized the FBI and was in Clinton's pocket.

Just a firing is too good for this putz.

-21 ( +8 / -29 )

Dang, if only millions of us had said he was morally unfit BEFORE the election.

Oh, wait.

Morally unfit and vulnerable to "Russian blackmail."

Absolutely, unarguably correct.

Likely, an understatement.

21 ( +27 / -6 )

comey also said hi to Mueller:

According to James Comey, if you’re investigating for a year and you don’t know what’s going on, “you should be fired.”

I think you were watching the imaginary interview in your head.

The actual comments James Comey made were:

"I'm not going to talk about my contact with the special counsel."

-and-

"...I also want to make sure that I-- don't-- I don't do anything that might get in the way of their ability to be effective."

14 ( +17 / -3 )

I didnt realize there was a full transcript of the entire interview. Interesting to see what was excluded from TV.

https://www.wsbtv.com/news/local/transcript-james-comeys-interview-with-george-stephanopoulos/732806650

-5 ( +4 / -9 )

Yeah, cause investigations of complex issues shouldn't take more than a few days, ortheisr nothing happened. Never mind all those indictments.

Draining the swamp?! Are you people really still claiming that nonsense with a straight face?

19 ( +22 / -3 )

Hey, thats what Comey said, read the full transcript. Of course they would never air that part on television.

JAMES COMEY: Yeah, I've heard that an awful lot, not just from President Trump, but from a lot of former prosecutors and former government people saying, "This shows that you had prejudged the matter." Here's my reaction. And the reason I smile a little bit is anybody who's actually done investigations knows that if you've been investigating something for almost a year and you don't have a general sense of where it's likely to end up, you should be fired because you're incompetent.

-11 ( +6 / -17 )

@Blacklabel - I do not like nor do I trust Trump however thanks for posting the full interview transcript. Kind of interesting what was cut. I am not sure I trust either one of them for that matter

4 ( +8 / -4 )

Well, yeah.

Trump scammed tens of millions of dollars from regular Americans with his fake university, he used illegals for labor and stiffed them, he got sued and settled for discrimination against blacks, he retweets white supremacist and anti-Muslim groups, he’s the worlds most famous birther, he said Latino judges couldn't effvtively judge whites, he lied about seeing cheering Muslims in the US on 9/11, he insulted McCain’s POW status, calls women “fat pigs” and boasts about famous people being able to molest them, he cheats on his wife with porn stars and pays them off, and he lies to your face about easily verifiable things. Often.

So you’re not really telling us anything new, Comey.

25 ( +26 / -1 )

He probably is morally unfit if you ask me too, but that isn’t a criteria for election.

Trump was elected by the US system, and that is what it is. Don’t like it? Better luck at the next election.

-10 ( +4 / -14 )

@SuperLib, you forgot another massive one; he lied about the weather on his inauguration day. Fortunately for his supporters, actual meteorological conditions are just fake news.

21 ( +22 / -1 )

No it’s directly from the official transcript from ABC news. I bolded the portion that makes my point.

-13 ( +2 / -15 )

Im really bored today and as there is a transcript, thought I would share some telling word usage:

"morally unfit" leader doing "tremendous damage" to institutional and cultural norms.

Huh? Have people forgotten about the escapades of Kennedy and Clinton just to name 2 other presidents? Please get off your high horses.

I do firmly believe though he is not a bigot. No bigot would ever let his daughter, which he loves in a way more so than ordinary daughter and father relationships convert to Judaism let alone marry a Jewish person.

I did not vote for him nor Clinton by the way, so above is a neutral opinion.

-16 ( +4 / -20 )

Just more of the same, another "shocking" interview or information that promises to bring Trump down and it's just a bunch of speculation and Comey seems to have no evidence of any corruption. It really is becoming the boy who cried wolf, especially when I hear people online saying "no, this will be what gets him, just you wait"! Call me when they actually find something.

-5 ( +2 / -7 )

...his daughter, which he loves in a way more so than ordinary daughter and father relationships...

Well, Haruka, you certainly nailed that part.

13 ( +14 / -1 )

I bolded the portion that makes my point.

Which is the way to misquote someone and read what you want. Assuming that is the transcript, the rest is important.

More like: I smile because the investigation has been going for more than a year and no one has been fired, so Mueller has a general sense of where it will end up.

You are on full blown damage control.

thought I would share some telling word usage

What about the damning and clear language rather than usage:

President Donald Trump is a dangerous, "morally unfit" leader doing "tremendous damage" to institutional and cultural norms.

I am going to hate hearing from all the Trump spin-masters as they try to make alternative realities merge with reality.

Doesn't matter. In the real world, the Cohen case is moving along quickly. Trump's ethically challenged pseudo-attorney is due in open court at 2PM on Monday. Hope he didn't talk about the Libby pardon.... or worse, have it on tape.

11 ( +12 / -1 )

I do firmly believe though he is not a bigot. No bigot would ever let his daughter, which he loves in a way more so than ordinary daughter and father relationships convert to Judaism let alone marry a Jewish person.

Oh I’m guessing when you are marrying into a $1.8 billion Jewish family you make an exception. And besides, that ignores his actions and comments about blacks, Latinos, and Muslims. Trump is pure garbage.

11 ( +12 / -1 )

You don't need Comey's comments to know that a person like Trump is unqualified for the presidency. Trump lies, which immediatly disqualifies him from any position of power... To Americans who have any sense of morality, the democrats/republicans can make their excuses. Whatever. Trump is a liar (and proud of it vis-a-vis Canada). He is proud of many of is verified lies. A liar has no place in American society. Any who defend him are demented suckers working a troll angle, the people who defend Trump/Hillary style lies are people who have no place in the USA and are simply tryng to rip off the Americans who believe in the constitution and a just civilization.

10 ( +12 / -2 )

President Donald Trump is a dangerous"morally unfit" leader doing "tremendous damage" to institutional and cultural norms.

which is the opinion of a fired ex employee whose answer to everything requiring evidence or proof is instead spoken as maybe, probably, it’s possible or I don’t know.

-14 ( +1 / -15 )

Hey, thats what Comey said, read the full transcript. Of course they would never air that part on television.

Way to try and spin his comments. He was clearly not saying Mueller should be fired as you're trying to insinuate with your ridiculous bold text.

He was only saying that Mueller knows exactly where this Trump thing is going to end, as does everyone else who isn't living in denial. What he is saying is that any attorney or investigator who can't see this should be fired.

13 ( +14 / -1 )

No it’s directly from the official transcript from ABC news. I bolded the portion that makes my point.

Exactly. You took words out of context in an attempt to change the meaning to something that you like better.

10 ( +11 / -1 )

Water games in a foreign country? Who hasn't seen that? The man is scum, but not for watching a show.

Wish someone other than Stephanopoulos was the interviewer, but I suppose his history in the Clinton administration was helpful in some way.

The GOP needed and still needs a shake up. Just wish they'd handled it themselves before forcing the voters to pick an outsider. The fact that President Trump even came close in the election also shows how poorly the democrats were in choosing their candidate.

Nobody expected Congress to roll over for Trump so quickly. Incumbants leaving at the end of their terms is a good thing. We should try to get term limits through now when so many have decided to leave rather than deal with POTUS.

I need to read the full interview.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

I gave you all the words he said in his entirety so there is no context, it’s the words that came out of his mouth.

i simply implied as my opinion that if he believes that, we all know someone who has been investigating for a year who doesn’t seem to know where it’s going. Priven by all of you telling us this takes “years”, but Comey said it doesn’t if you are competent.

Where did he say mueller knows “exactly where this is going to end”? That’s nowhere in the transcript. Talk about supposedly taking something out of context yet perfectly free to make things up?

-14 ( +1 / -15 )

Cry me a river. Comey politicized the FBI and was in Clinton's pocket.

Just a firing is too good for this putz.

Comey is a political hack. When George asked him if he should have told the President that his opponents were financing a false and salacious unverified dossier, he replied, “he didn’t know.” What are you talking? If anything, Comey was unfit to lead the FBI thank God Trump fired his butt! The guy had enemies everywhere and both sides of the aisle, every Democrat thought he was a scoundrel for what he did to Clinton, but became the Democrat folk hero when he went after Trump. Comey should cash in as much as he can. I heard you have to pay over $95 just to be in the same room, NOT including buying his book and having him sign it. Milk it and enjoy the 15 min.

-16 ( +1 / -17 )

So to recap, it’s been a year for Mueller. Based on what Comey says either (a) he is incompetent and should be fired for not knowing it all yet or (b) he knows where this is going already.

Take your pick of which you believe. But if it’s (b) at some point soon Mueller needs to start giving some status reports to someone other than Rosenstein, i.e. Congress.

-13 ( +1 / -14 )

Agreed. Indicating a bunch of Russians to appear he’s serious is more symbolic than anything else and means nothing in the bigger scheme of things.

-14 ( +1 / -15 )

Not having a general sense of where an investigation is going to end up is far, far different than an investigation not being concluded and not having leaks.

7 ( +7 / -0 )

And no matter what the Trumpettes squeal, the sad reality is that they will obfuscate and engage in distractions because they do not care about the verified lying Trump/Hillary type politicians. The trumpettes are just here to wallow in their own excrement instead of admitting that their leaders are hurting the USA.

8 ( +9 / -1 )

Comey leaked like a sieve.

-16 ( +1 / -17 )

No it’s directly from the official transcript from ABC news. I bolded the portion that makes my point.

Except it doesn't make your point. Your point was if you've been investigating for over a year and you don't know what's going on, you should be fired. Comey clearly did not say that. He commented on having a general sense of where an investigation is going. Two very different issues.

Either way, Mueller knows what's going on and where his investigation is going, hence the multiple indictments and guilty pleas. Let me guess, beyond the scope of his mandate, right? Nope.

9 ( +10 / -1 )

Comey allegedly leaked info. The rupubs man on the House Intelligence Committee leaked Warner's texts, but we didn't hear a peep from Trump's cheerleaders.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

which is the opinion of a fired ex employee whose answer to everything requiring evidence or proof is instead spoken as maybe, probably, it’s possible or I don’t know.

That fired, ex-employee's opinion was good enough for you to quote at 12:55 as support for your position. What changed? The next quote was against your position. Nice.

7 ( +8 / -1 )

Priven by all of you telling us this takes “years”, but Comey said it doesn’t if you are competent

That is not what Comey said. Reading is difficult, I guess.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

every Democrat thought he was a scoundrel for what he did to Clinton, but became the Democrat folk hero when he went after Trump

And every Repub thought he was a hero when he did that to Clinton, but turned on him when he began investigating Trump. Comey was simply doing his job in both cases.

To recap, it hasn't been a year for Mueller. Reading calendars is difficult, I guess.

7 ( +8 / -1 )

No it’s directly from the official transcript from ABC news. I bolded the portion that makes my point.

Comey was making a point about the Hillary email investigation, saying that it was basically concluded.

What point where you trying to make with that?

8 ( +9 / -1 )

Agreed. Indicating a bunch of Russians to appear he’s serious is more symbolic than anything else and means nothing in the bigger scheme of things.

First, you don't indict to appear.

Second, it means a lot in the big scheme of things. It means there was more than probable cause that those Russians interfered in our elections. That may not be anything big to you, but it is to reasonable, rational individuals that care about our country.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

Bunch of liberals here on this page I see, LOL

Trump got y'all panties twisted did he? Some say he's failing miserably others say he's doing the best job! LOL

He is doing the Job, maybe not the way a life long politician would handle it, but lets face it he's not a politician. I for one stand behind him, he was a different choice amongst the liars, that's why he won! The Americans were tired of the same BS coming up for office, so they tried something new, and that hurt Y'alls pride LOL, because this person got elected.

TRUMP 2020

-23 ( +2 / -25 )

"According The Washington Post Fact Checker, as of Friday, April 13th, Trump had made 2,436 false or misleading claims in 406 days — a rate of exactly six whoppers a day."

I for one stand behind him, he was a different choice amongst the liars

Sure was, the single most corrupt, dishonest and immoral Commander-in-chief in the history of the United States with no close second.

11 ( +12 / -1 )

According The Washington Post Fact Checker, as of Friday, April 13th, Trump had made 2,436 false or misleading claims in 406 days — a rate of exactly six whoppers a day.

Is that just counting the inane nonsense and whole cloth fabrications he comes up with himself or does that include the screaming idiocy he quotes from sources like the National Enquirer or dodgy racist material retweeted from people now in prison?

Trump is an eclectic type. He creates and absorbs.

9 ( +10 / -1 )

He is doing the Job, maybe not the way a life long politician would handle it, but lets face it he's not a politician.

So actually you're saying that 'the Job' should be done by 'professional' politician..

I for one stand behind him, he was a different choice amongst the liars, that's why he won!

Trump got elected by the election system. In real democracies one man is one vote meaning that he would have lost.

The Americans were tired of the same BS coming up for office, so they tried something new, and that hurt Y'alls pride LOL, because this person got elected.

A minority of Americans.

TRUMP 2020

A good chance that it will end before 2020 :)

7 ( +9 / -2 )

Either way, Mueller knows what's going on and where his investigation is going, hence the multiple indictments and guilty pleas. Let me guess, beyond the scope of his mandate, right?

Exactly. Ken Starr started with investigating crimes about Whitewater and ended up with a blue dress. What an embarrassment. Yeah, Mueller knows where it’s going, in the trash, but seriously, this is just boring as hell. Nothing in the end will happen to the President as long as the Senate doesn’t fall to the Dems and that doesn’t seem to be the case as of now, they’re in a good position.

And every Repub thought he was a hero when he did that to Clinton, but turned on him when he began investigating Trump. Comey was simply doing his job in both cases.

Comey was a joke, made enemies on both sides and the best thing that could’ve happened to him was Trump getting rid of him, because if the pantsuit lady would have won, he was on her hit list.

To recap, it hasn't been a year for Mueller. Reading calendars is difficult, I guess

Its been over a year, the left have always had a problem with math.

-12 ( +2 / -14 )

A minority of Americans.

Yeah, we heard that joke before.

A good chance that it will end before 2020 :)

Yes, the left said that when he announced his running for the presidency.

JAMES COMEY: Yeah, I've heard that an awful lot, not just from President Trump, but from a lot of former prosecutors and former government people saying, "This shows that you had prejudged the matter." Oh, most definitely.

I see a big difference between an investigation of classified information on a single email server (what Comey was talking about) and Mueller's investigation of Trump's campaign, which involves a lot of people who consistently lie and misstate facts.

Mueller's investigation has been progressing quite well, and there is more than a general sense of where it is likely to end up, badly for Trump. It has already ended badly for several people associated with Trump.

6 ( +8 / -2 )

Mueller's investigation has been progressing quite well

How so? When it comes to Trump, nothing. But as Black said, more than a year and with his merry men of 22 Democratic witch hunting lawyers, if he couldn’t find anything up to this point, he’s completely incompetent.

, and there is more than a general sense of where it is likely to end up, badly for Trump.

Like how, impeachment? Ok, Clinton was impeached. Removal, the Senate is in Republican hands, won’t happen. The best is we will hear boring hearings for 2 years, nothing more.

It has already ended badly for several people associated with Trump.

And Trump can pardon them, I hope he does.

-10 ( +1 / -11 )

It's really a shame what happened to the USA. I assume it is time for that reset that the bible talks about.

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

Sounds like the pot calling the kettle black. This guy has no dignity and can't stay out of the spotlight.

-4 ( +2 / -6 )

Now you have Nancy Pelosi sending fundraising emails with the subject of Mueller FIRED when he obviously has not been.

Just never ending, this whole thing needs to be wrapped up instead of extending each time a brand new event happens.

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

Now you have Nancy Pelosi sending fundraising emails with the subject of Mueller FIRED when he obviously has not been.

You know she’s at that age where her memory is fading fast, give her some Boost and she be ok.

Just never ending, this whole thing needs to be wrapped up instead of extending each time a brand new event happens.

Becuase there was never anything.

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

Yeah, math is hard:

https://www.google.co.jp/amp/s/www.bbc.com/news/amp/world-us-canada-39961732

When is May?

2 ( +3 / -1 )

To quote a well known source "He would wouldn't he"

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

But this new thing! It’s the smoking gun! So what happened to everything from a year ago that was so provable and criminal that the investigation had to be opened to deal with it all?

Has anyone been convicted of any actual crime yet based on what was supposedly already known in July 2016?

Let me guess if they find no obstruction on firing Comey they will still continue the investigation because maybe there was with McCabe? Or will be when Rosenstein gets fired even 2 years from now?

-7 ( +1 / -8 )

Nobody knows, outside of Mueller's team, what evidence is available. If you're so certain, let events speak for themselves. Investigations of complex issues takes time. Mueller is methodical, the hallmark of any good investigator.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

Comey has about 1 billion more times integrity than Trump. Anyway, Trump continues to lose supporters and the November mid-terms will see the GOP lose a lot. Trump has got so little done because, on a daily basis, he's stuck trying to stupidly defend his stupidly indefensible behavior.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

Just never ending, this whole thing needs to be wrapped up instead of extending each time a brand new event happens.

You are confusing the order of events. Each new event is the result of the investigation, not a reaction of my the investigation.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

Trump cannot pardon crimes on the state level. Uh-oh.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

You know she’s at that age where her memory is fading fast, give her some Boost and she be ok.

Isn't the same age?

0 ( +1 / -1 )

No mueller is keeping the investigation open as a placeholder so that anything which happens from now to eternity can be added to keep it all going.

Hillary had investigations closed twice without anyone having all her emails (the evidence) Imagine if her investigation was just kept open until all those are recovered and at the same time added anything unrelated to that which she or people around her did until today?

exactly what Comey did. Wouldn’t announce trump not under investigation because that might change sometime in the future? That’s nonsense.

-8 ( +1 / -9 )

It’s being purposely done to add anything and everything to the current investigation. because what they are finding wouldn’t be enough evidence to open a new one on its own.

So when is mueller referring McCabe or indicting him? It was proven he lied right?

-8 ( +1 / -9 )

Mueller hasn't handed in his findings yet. Well, except all those guilty pleas, indictments, and FBI raids. I know, the FBI is corrupt. Blah, blah. You just complained that hillary's two investigations were concluded too early after saying Mueller should conclude the first investigation . See any issue?

4 ( +5 / -1 )

McCabe is Muelker's witness, not a target, as far as I know.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

I literally just said nobody outside of Mueller's team knows, and you try to twist it into liberals know everything?

That’s what they’re spewing everyday.

Mueller v Furhman? Really?

Yup. I’ll put my money on Fuhrman.

What service branch was Mueller in? What medals? Which conflict? Which university? Which law school?

In all honesty, in the bigger picture, it doesn’t means anything.

But this does....

Neither Comey nor Mueller—who are reported to be “joined at the hip”—deserve their current lionization among politicians and mainstream media. Instead of Jimmy Stewart-like ‘G-men’ with reputations for principled integrity, the two close confidants and collaborators merely proved themselves, along with former CIA Director George “Slam Dunk” Tenet, reliably politicized sycophants, enmeshing themselves in a series of wrongful abuses of power along with official incompetence.

It seems clear that based on his history and close “partnership” with Comey, “one of the closest working relationships the top ranks of the Justice Department have ever seen,” Mueller was chosen as Special Counsel not because he has integrity but because he will do what the powerful want him to do. He didn’t speak the truth about a war he knew to be unjustified. He didn’t speak out against torture. He didn’t speak out against unconstitutional surveillance. And he didn’t tell the truth about 9/11. He is just their man.

Coleen Rowley, a retired FBI special agent and division legal counsel whose May 2002 memo to then-FBI Director Robert Mueller exposed some of the FBI’s pre-9/11 failures, was named one of TIME magazine’s “Persons of the Year

Uhmmmm....in the US system we go by the college electoral system, that’s the only system that matters. Hypotheticals don’t apply in the US.

Yep, that's what they said and that option stays open :)

Funny, so far the pundits and pollsters were pretty much wrong on everything and have been for the last two years.

Should a FBI director be loyal to the American people and to the constitution only?

Seems like he was neither, but only to the establishment.

-7 ( +1 / -8 )

Why would a non-racist ever support Trump? Makes no sense to us.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

Sad thing is that millions of Americans, even those that didn't vote for Trump, dont care enough to make a difference.

Millions more secretly hope Trump can 'Make America white Again'

3 ( +3 / -0 )

Why would a non-racist ever support Trump? Makes no sense to us

Because they don’t want to support Democrat racist policies.

-5 ( +3 / -8 )

Oh my...

I Genuinely Believe Trump on his Denial of Comeys Memos: Here's Why

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jt0vfvrZD7I

-7 ( +1 / -8 )

We knew that from the beginning. He had no qualifications, no experience, no track record -- the only possible outcome was precisely the chaos and floundering that we continue to have now. Lying, name-calling, racism, sexism, handing out NDAs like they were business cards -- how does he continue to survive?

4 ( +5 / -1 )

Funny, so far the pundits and pollsters were pretty much wrong on everything and have been for the last two years.

Lololol who did polls have winning the popular vote, and by how much? Who won the polls and by how much? What a silly comment, it only makes sense it comes from a Trump fan.

Note: polls measure popular vote, not EC, and they were pretty on the money.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

The risible "unpresidential" Trump presidency with its "Mendacity of Hope" for the millions of working class Americans betrayed by their "two-faced" kleptocratic oligarchy has created an unprecedented stormy reaction of negative vibes around the country and the world and kicked up a sh*tstorm for the ruling circles of the "deep state", the self-satisfied denizens of the Washington swamp, but despite the hapless Trump's well-deserved opprobrium, he has rendered one incontrovertible service to the republic: by blundering blindly through his presidency and setting a precedent of conducting foreign and domestic policy by tweet he has unwittingly exposed the corporate organs of the US media as biased (fake!) and turned the tired, one-trick pony circus of the American political system on its head, but he salutary enema snake-oil salesman Trump has given to the constipated "politics as usual" Washington establishment will only earn him a place in the dust-bin of history. Comey's book is just the first salvo of the vengeful political elite coming out of the woodwork, to be followed by Mueller's steady evisceration and dismemberment of the Trump family power base dealing a series of mortal blows to his administration before it rapidly melts down after the November midterms with a probable impeachment or resignation to put the icing on the rancid orange cake of Trump's MAGA nightmare. Bass is right: they're coming to get him and he'll be lucky to keep his "get-out-of-jail" card.

-4 ( +1 / -5 )

Bass: Because they don’t want to support Democrat racist policies.

That's important to you? I mean part of the reason you voted for Trump was to end racist policies by liberals in an effort to help minorities?

5 ( +6 / -1 )

Guess who is back on the front page at Fox... New accusations, from a pro-Trump PAC, about Hilly Clinton laundering money.

Imagine that.

4 ( +6 / -2 )

That means Trump fits in just fine. Comey is just jealous that he is not among the morally unfit group anymore. Why do people hate Trump so much when he is no different than the one before him? Wakanai.

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

After seeing blacklabel's bizarre attempt of only seeing and interpreting what one wants to see instead of seeing what actually is there, how desperate are Trumpeteer's to try and prove themselves right even when they're completely in the wrong? They've lost their minds because they can't accept the reality of their choices. So they have to pretend it's all good and well in their own mind and they didn't make any errors, because... well they believe their ideals are perfect and unquestionable.

Don't try to take someone out of a cage that they put themselves in of their own making. They have to figure out for themselves if they want to leave that cage or not. It's obvious they can't talk anyone else (with a conscious mind attached to reality) into joining them in the cage, no matter how hard they "try". Bubble worlds eventually pop.

Aside from that, I have no interest in a book by Comey. The only people interested are sensationalists who eat this kind of stuff up. I'm only interested in the final verdict after Mueller's investigation is finished, and hopefully those who have to be prosecuted under the law will have their day in court. And justice shall be served accordingly, assuming this country will have any left by the time Trumpy dumps is out.

Millions more secretly hope Trump can 'Make America white Again'

Yep, and many JT readers hope that too :)

Comey and Mueller weren't joined at the hip, they had a professional relationship. What a shocker!

The poster that doesn't think waterboarding is torture is citing an article that faults Comey for not speaking out on torture. Riiight.

Trump cannot be trusted by anyone including Putin.

How many books Comey has written and published so far since he was fired?

Comey is making handsome money. Now he is millionaire.

Money on Furhman. The LAPD detective whose incompetence and racism helped OJ get acquitted over Mueller. That there, ladies and gentlemen, is hyper-partisanship at its finest.

Let's see . . . The poster that supports Trump's racism in renting also puts stock in a racist detective. Not surprising.

takeda.shingen.1991@gmail.com - Lololol who did polls have winning the popular vote, and by how much? Who won the polls and by how much? What a silly comment, it only makes sense it comes from a Trump fan.

Note: polls measure popular vote, not EC, and they were pretty on the money.

No, opinion polls do not measure popular VOTE. Election results do that. Opinion polls only measure the current opinions of a selected number of people to specifically phrased questions.

Polls may indicate trends, but they don't decide elections. However, I remember there were a lot of very happy, and confident, Hillary worshipers who believed that the polls were predicting a Hillary landslide. Untill the election results were known.

Arrest: Agreed up to the hyperbolic part regarding Hillary.

Doesn’t matter, California doesn’t dictate to the rest of the country who should be President. You don’t like the rules, good luck in changing them. The left and Democrats never complained about the system until this election. The left Whining and all the tissue in the world won’t do anything, talk to your local congressman, get all the States to join you and agree and then let’s see what happens, until then, deal with it.

and they were pretty on the money.

No, they were way off, they gave Trump a 35% chance at winning and that’s why Time magazine had already printed the cover of Hillary winning. Gosh, that must’ve hurt, all that waste of paper.

Comey and Mueller weren't joined at the hip, they had a professional relationship. What a shocker!

They weren’t heroes either.

Coleen Rowley, a retired FBI special agent and division legal counsel whose May 2002 memo to then-FBI Director Robert Mueller exposed some of the FBI’s pre-9/11 failures, was named one of TIME magazine’s “Persons of the Year” in 2002.

Money on Furhman. The LAPD detective whose incompetence and racism helped OJ get acquitted over Mueller.

What? Lol A sneaky Cochran most definitely.

As usual, you have two corrupt cops thinking they can get away with anything, astonishing.

Well "lying Comey" was fired and Trump IS the President so...............Morally unfit, and Crooked Hillary? Now there is a lady with very high morals! So sad that such a tall man had to stoop so low just so sell a book.

Besides selling books and being a light bulb changer, what else can the guy do?

Nothing is going to happen to TRUMP except re election! He hasn't done anything that a prior president hasn't already done! Hell no he isn't an Angel, seriously you think you become a Billionaire without stepping and pissing on some people? He's got his own money and a mouth, SOOO? Is there a set, written on paper, carved in stone SOP for being a World Leader? As with Royalty in the past, they are there today because their ancestors were skilled at killing, well he's in the White House because he was skilled enough to talk AMERICA into the voting booths.

Let it be, as Happened with OBAMA, BUSH, CLINTON after they got re elected, a new player will come along, 2024 isn't far off, quit crying! Washington DC is a mess, let him keep shaking it up, as for his foreign policy tools, we call those Cruise Missiles.

Just think if TRUMP got impeached. Then America you will really get what you voted for, President Pence!

0 ( +1 / -1 )

Yes, then the country will be jerked far right and the rise and resurgence of the evangelicals. So the left better ge their emotions together and decide choice A or Choice B? Trump the populist President or Pence the ultra-religious President.

The incontrovertible proof that Trump is U-N-F-I-T for public office: each and every single thing he says and does.

Just sounds like sour grapes, Comey. Glad you were fired.

Comey is right; true he is to be loyal to the nation not to any man that is why FBI is founded. Besides these days politics is murky ; lot of deceptions , besides politicians fall a prey to their own self deception syndrome, when one reads his book - my book How we misinterpret our energy talks on by its 52 essays of 70 yrs of india besides citing other advanced countries too, for their own failures, see how currencies is a self deception for economy, see IMF is concerned today just because Trump imposed tariff on chinese products, indeed his idea obvious immaturity , the fact is politics should not interfere with natural resources but these politicians misuse their power of defacto control on their own dejure citizens - so vitally Trump need to know quite a lot from mrs Bush who passed away at 92 yesterday, why all present day republicans too. if they were basically sensible, just to be in power the route is not to give power to any more so people like immature persons more so, people like Mr Trump that means politics creates wobbles in democracy - inequality gets control not 'equality' what Jefferson wanted in politics, not Adam Smith idea of capitalism that is obvious inequality based thought yet true you have to live with certain contradictions that does not mean political power should ever be with sensible people who are well known in 'equality' doctrines or dictums - Fed is there to control economy, president need to high light 'equality' always that is robust for any advanced democracy please with No Malice on any.

Are Members of the Public services, and their Families barred from participating within Elections ?

Directors of the FBI should be above politics. Comey's interference in both Hillary's and Trump's campaign shows that he was/is not above politics, and his actions prove that he would use his position to influence elections. Comey has proven that he was unfit to be the Director of the FBI. That's why Comey was fired. Plus Comey's admitting HOW, not if, he had leaked information of ongoing investigation to U.S. Senator Susan Collins at a Congressional hearing, which he later reiterated in his book, is another reason why Comey should have been fired.

Lyin' Donald -- he runs the executive branch like Don Corleone. He should be impeached, he should be in jail. He would never have won the electoral college (he lost the popular vote by a staggering 3 million votes) without Russian intervention. Resist and persist.

Comey says that Trump is morally unfit for office. This coming from the man who says Hillary Clinton should be President. Yeah, okay Mr. Officer.

Comey, was and is unfit to be director, glad hes gone..
