Asian-Americans, who represent about 6 percent of the U.S. population, comprise 23 percent of Harvard's current freshman class

Harvard clearly doesn't discriminate very effectively given the over-representation of Asian-Americans in relation to the population thereof.

Read another way, one might wonder why white people who don’t get into Harvard believe that over half the class should be reserved for them.

This has the whiff of Edward Blum, Abigail Fisher (Univ of Texas wannabe) and Jeff Sessions. Trying to uncover problems where no problem exists.

They can do what they want, they are private university.

Harvard also notes that the Supreme Court has previously held that colleges have an interest in enrolling diverse groups of students and may consider race as one factor among many when reviewing applications.

Harvard is engaging in systemic institutionalized racism - just like most other colleges, businesses, and state and local governments across America. Time to eliminate affirmative action racism. It is an intentionally discriminatory and un-Constitutional policy and should be expunged from every aspect of American society.

I hope that this is the start of finally ending government sponsored racism once and for all. The government must judge its people based on the content of their character and not the color of their skin.

Not if they receive federal money. Otherwise I would agree with you.

You just referenced the Supreme Court declaring affirmative action as being constitutional before you asserted it is unconstitutional.

They can do what they want, they are private university.

This statement is incorrect.

My bad. But I personally don’t think there will be long lasting repercussions from this in the long run.

This case shows that identity politics categorizes races and makes hierarchy of them for preferences. Very racist, Harvard.

The Supreme Court does make mistakes, particularly on issues of race (see Plessey v. Fergusson). The US Constitution is clear about racial discrimination. It is not allowed. The Supreme Court must again undo its mistakes.
